I have addressed this issue to frontier, [show levels], and the fact that we are creating a new bug, been all creative and all. :P [ fireworks list is tooo huge for screen.]

I'm curious, would could you get the sound to travel farther if you placed launchers around the park but didn't use them? Meaning, is the sound attached to the launchers? I'm out of town so I don't have access to my copy. I was just curious.

Are you guys using the firework display button to watch the show or are you watching it from normal view? If you watch the show from the display view then you shouldnt have a problem with the sound. You can also use freelook in the display view.

cac2889: I think I get what ur saying, and no you cannot do that unless you use the mortars, If you place mortars but dont use them in the show they wont be saved with the show.

Hmm...that gives me an interesting idea. Why not create a firework with no sound or particles and place one in each mortar you don't actually need for the show. Would the sound travel farther out then? Better still, just select the best viewing spot for the show and place a mortar there with the invisible firework. This is all theory though because I don't have my game with me. :(
