Well, today I was scroling down the all the types of rollercoasters wondering what to build next and a particular coaster caught my eye. One that I hardly ever see used and probably is one of the most unused coaster in the game. Of course you already know which coaster I'm talking about by the name of the thread but I'll say it anyways, it was the Side Friction coaster. I find this coaster interesting because, first it has no inversions and cant have banked turns, second it cant have steep drops, so I look at this coaster and one that most people look at and say "I dont want this dumb coaster in my park." Its like the black sheep of coasters and this made me want to make one even more. So all of a sudden I had an idea. I'm going to make the biggest side frction coaster ever seen in RCT3, I'm a man on a mission! :D. However, I wanted it to have good stats of course and thats where my frustration begins. I start building the coaster and its comming along great. The track goes under over and through itself which looks great. So I finally have a pretty big coaster and I connect it back to the station to see how the stats are doing. When the results come in its E: 6 something and I: 6 somehting, N:3 something. I was quite shocked b/c the coaster was pretty awsome so far. So now i decide to build a second lift hill. I do it and keep having the coaster go through itself constantly. So now i think, wow what an awsome side frction coaster. I connect it back to the stantion and test it out and guess what? Its still excitement and Intensity 6 something! So i figure: "Hey, maybe it needs to be faster or have sharper turns? So now i make a THIRD lift hill give it a big drop and turn into a really sharp turn do a little more and connect it back. Same exact results. SO now I'm convinced its not going any higher than that. I dont want the coaster to take up THAT much room! So I fail my mission of having good stats, but I succeeded in making a hige side frction coaster so heres a screenshot and the download :D Enjoy.
THis is a bad screenshot cuz it makes the coaster look ugly/boring, but it's really much better than the way it looks here.

I've called this coaster the Ugly Duckling simple cuz its hardly ever used and nobody wants to use him! :(

The link isnt woring because you, like countless others, don't know how to use the url tag. Here:

Heh, it's no problem, maybe I should add a link after you upload the file that already has the url tag attatched. That might be helpful for most people.

EDIT: Nvm, since it's coded in PHP, it rejects the [ and the ] tags all together, and it creates an error. :bulb:

I would make a video, but last time I used the in-game movie recorder and waited the whole hour, the movie came out bad and I've no diea why. The game wasnt lagging at all before I hit record but it came out like that in the movie.

The game does lag when recording, it takes about 1-3 hours

I waited the the 1-3 hours, but the final video was bad, like, it wasnt like riding a smooth rolercoaster, the video would go, and stop go and stop like as if your computer was lagging as your riding the coaster. THats how to movies come out.

Did you keep the window open? If you didn't, that could be the problem.
