Rollercoaster Tycoon Revisited - Whispering Cliffs 3D (v1.0)

This is my 2nd attempt at re-creating some scenarios from Rollercoaster Tycoon, my first attempt was Leafy Lake, this time i decided to try make Whispering Cliffs from "Corkscrew Follies/Added Atractions" addon, due to limitations in the RCT3 engine, some features are missing such as the water falls, also its impossible to create the hills and slopes the same as the original with the new realtime terrain but im happy ive got it as close as i could hope (or be bothered).

Just copy the .dat file into your RCT3 scenario folder

ie: C:\Documents and Settings\acm2000\My Documents\RCT3\Start New Scenarios

To Play:

In game, select "Play>Custom Scenario>Start Game>Whispering Cliffs 3D"

Version History:

v1.0 - Due to the nature of the game engine in RCT3, it makes it difficult to replicate levels like this perfectly, so ive had to make a few sacrifices here and there, but the overall result is very close to the original, hope you enjoy it.

the waterfalls were on the river in the background that leads down to the cliffs, ive had to make the river 1 level, then used blue walls at the end to look like water (kinda) ;/

Okay, I remember that, but it could never be part of the park as I recall. Thanx for the memory assist

Hmmm... Server Error.

Don't remember that in the original scenario!

The screen shows that the water ends at the park border. I believe it's supposed to go on, and it would look better anyways. Fix that up. Also, there weren't any waterfalls in the first place. (RCT1)

Works now.

I agree, set it up as island, perhaps. That way, the water looks halfway normal. Might look funny at the other end, mind. *LOL*

Yea, I know, what happened to the waterfalls? That would have been really cool to see in 3-D.

Also, I just noticed last nite that we only have one colour of water, so creating acid swamps and such will be difficult. Or is it just me? Did I miss something?

A tough scenario. I managed just about in time with this coaster:
