Was the coaster a pre-built one?

If it was what one?

First, you need a website to host your coaster. www.tycoon3d.tk is my personal favorite. Go to the site, and there is a nice tutorial about uploading files.

Be sure the coaster is listed in his schedule. Bring up his path list (clicking on the little feet in the current task list) and click on the ride to add it to the list.

I, also, built a coaster near the entrance. It was a rebuilt one and Bushton went right on and then left and liked it. By the way I saw your video on "Welcome To Another Year At Hogwarts" film and it was most impressive. Well done! 5 points to Gryffindor!:D

Read the manual! That's all I did. It took two try's but once I did what the manual said, I got tycoon level on that scenario in no time at all.

Here's the scoop. You need to set a footpath for the VIP to follow by using waypoints. At each waypoint the VIP will stop to see if he/she finds what he/she came for. In the Go-Cart scenario, Clint Bushton wants to ride a rollercoaster with an excitement rating of 4, 5 and then 6 in the apprentice, entreprenuer, and tycoon levels respectively. My advice is to build one with 6 or higher first thing, then you've got the scenario beat for VIP.

To set the waypoints, click the little hat that shows your objectives for the scenario. In the upper right of the objective box is an icon that looks like footprints. Click the footprints to bring up the VIP window. Then click the icon the set a waypoint. Set one waypoint just outside the entrance gate to your park. Set the next one right at the ticket window for your coaster. Notice that you don't need to set intermediate waypoints at the corners of the footpaths (my first mistake), the arrows for the path show up automatically and go all the way from the one waypoint to the next if you have footpaths that connect. Finally, set a final waypoint outside the gate once again. Close the VIP window and wait for the VIP to show up!

I found it cool to watch the VIP come in to the park and go on the Ride. The guy even runs! Use coaster cam to watch him on the ride, it's hillarious! After beating the apprentice level just keep adding shops and other stuff to the park. You needn't worry about the VIP again, he will follow the same path each time and ride the coaster, then exit. Before long you will get "Congratulations, you are a true Tycoon!" on this scenario! :D

"GAME ON!"
