Here is what i did

I paused the game, deleted the coaster already there.

The Tycoon Level wants 2 coasters with a min excitement rating of 7. A fireworks show and 700 guest. Build one of the coasters now

Set Park entrance fee to $15.00

Set Research for shopping stalls and coasters, max the money for research. Build a Drink and food stall near entrance when available. Money should start coming in at a good rate.

Hope this helps

So far I've only got to Apprentice. Definately trash the coaster that is in the park to start. It's too exteme and not very exciting. Rather than waste time and money bringing that ride up to spec for the scenario, build a new coaster down on the beach. Build it so that you meet the 7 excitement condition. If you can keep the price down to $10K, you should be able to build the second. It looks like you'll have to advertise heavy in this one, but even then, they started to taper off at 350. I'm going back in in a little while, but might roll back to March 1 and pick it back up from finishing the coaster. The second reason to trash the coaster is because it is a Vekona Suspended Looping Coaster, or in RCTspeak, a Compact Inverted Coaster, and I just don't like them anywhere near the B&M version of inverteds. That is except for the family versions like Runaway Reptar.

I have to defend this park. I kept the coaster added a second that blew the first away in ratings. I did later tweek the origional coaster at a very expensive cost to upgrade it. As of this reply I'm within reach of the final, met the coaster requirement, just waiting for Bushton to be satisfied and the other requirement and I'll have the gold hat. While yes it would have gotten me there quicker, leaving the coaster made the challange more interesting. Enjoy, it's worth it.

Like I said, Vekoma SLCs mostly suck. Why Runaway Reptar is so good and Top Gun and Mind Eraser aren't is beyond me though. I just didn't want to waste the time and effort to fix it. Like you said, you did fix it, but it took a lot of work and money. With the $15,000 you get for trashing it, think of the floorless you could build.

I have finished all other requirements for this scenario, but several attempts at placing fireworks has led to nothing. I have used the premade fireworks display and one I made myself ($300 cost to set off the display)

I need some idea what the VIP wants. Does anyone have any ideas?

That's been too easy for me. I dropped oone of the prebuilt shows right in front of the gate on the other side of the walkway towards the mountain. All you do is set the path for your Veep with a waypoint at the gate, one in front of the show and a third at the gate. When he enters the park, if it isn't happening already, set off your show for him. That's it. Let him leave, you're done.
