Please help, I have mastered the entire game except the last level of La-La-Land, so RCT3 will not unlock the last game. I have tried and tried. Anyone have a completed La-La that I can dl from somewhere?

Thanks.

Hal.

First things first, CLOSE ALL THE PATHS EXCEPT FOR THE MAIN STRETCH GOING FROM THE ENTRANCE TO THE BACK OF THE PARK! Put "No Entry" signs all over the place to force people back to the main stretch. Get rid of all the paths and buildings to make room for coasters and your new scenary.

Start near the entrance of the park. Flatten as much of the land as you can. Make sure your paths still connect. Now put adventure theming EVERYWHERE. Put a coaster close to it, and the pirates ship ride. Make sure the path to it goes near the scenary. Keep everything around the main stretch near the entrance....Then:

Beginning near the back of the park where the path makes a right hand turn, put a hovering sign with the name of your sci-fi section on it, and a small tunnel made of clear arched walls and ceilings. If you can fit it, a volcano works good here. Put SPACE JUNK everywhere around this section. Put a coaster nearby with paths leading by the scenary. Put a planetarium, etc. Fireworks, are a good thing here. Get them as close to the path as you can.

Now, here is the trick. Set waypoints on sections of the path right next to your scenary, not just on the rides. This is especially true for Clint Bushton with the Fireworks. As soon as he walks in, have the mix master menu set up. Pick Clint up with the pincers and drop him on the waypoint with the best view of the fireworks. Press play on the mixmaster immediately. He should take notice.

As far as the Tycoon goals, again, set their individual waypoints close to the scenary. Then pick them up and put them on the first waypoint. Here's some pics to give you an idea of what I mean.

I had to start over on this scene and begin my tycoon goals from the beginning to get it to work good, but on my second try I got all the goals the first time the VIPs came in(for each level). Admittedly, I had to use the John D Rockefeller cheat to have enough money, but it sped things up greatly.

Hope it helps.

You can't get much clearer than that. Top advice

I really enjoyed this park without cheating, but it does take up a LOT of time if you don't!

really, all you have to do is put one of each item on the list of scenery to go with that theme in the immediate area where your VIP is...... I don't even think any rides are necessary, but I threw a couple in for good measure! Put one of each tree, plant, animatronic, building etc that is on the list within say 8 or 10 squares of the path where you put waypoints, and your VIP's park opinion will sky-rocket! Seriously, anyone who's completed it... try it and see!

I had used every single item in the themed items in a certain area and, at first, it didn’t seem to work the way I would’ve liked. Then I read something somewhere to make sure every single square/block had an object in it. So, I went back in with the trees/plants with that specific theme and placed one anywhere there was even half a space. The next time they came back to that section, their Park Opinion meter was instantly full. Voila, scenario completed!

One other thing that some people have found useful to complete the themes - make sure any rides have appropriate music. For example, in the adventure area use the Pirate music.

Hope this helps.

I was about to give up too! I tried everything I could think of. No matter what I did to the themes, everytime the VIPs came to the park I just could not impress them. but then I noticed outside the park there were certain trees from both the Sci Fi theme and the adventure theme. When I added those items inside the park, both VIPs were satisfied. I don't know if that's what they're looking for or not. One thing is certain: I finally won that stupid level.

I actually found this one to be on the easy side, but since I know a lot of people have trouble with it I made a clocked file. Its has about two weeks left, so its not timed perfectly, just hit the fast forward button and youll win it within 30 seconds. Sorry about the slow DL, I should have it on a faster site later this week. No cheats/trainers were used in the scenario.

I envy those who did not have trouble with this. I nearly gave up. I am sure that good park planning is a key. Leave locations for the two theme areas that you need to get to Tycooon. From all the posts about problems it seems we only have the poblem impressing the VIPpeeps in the adventure areas.

When having difficulty, make sure you follow Clint or Joe along the Waypoint paths you have set for them and watch their Park Opinion meter. This will give you a clue of what you need to do.

One time I impressed Clint and not Joe, then when I redid the areas, it was the other way around. I think the things that put it over the top are:

No Generic theming in the area.
Only theme specific, several Animatronis.
Wall away the other themes
You do not need one of each plant and tree and flower, but a selection.
In Adventure I did only Pirate, and in Sci-fi I just did the retro animatronics, not the mechwarriors.
I do think having rides help. I built one of the coasters (a water one) for Joe to ride to be an Entreprenuer and made it part of the adventure theme for Tycoon.

I started from the Entrepreneur level 3 times to get this one to Tycoon, so I can relate to the frustration. There is something unexplained about this part of the AI. Last, if the VIPeep seems to be straying from your waypoint path, going to queue in another ride not on his list, pick him up and place him in the theme area.

The key to my success was the wooden coaster in my first screen. I charge 7 dollars and the line was always full (and the trains were really long). That got me up to over $1,500 per month from ride tickets. Also, I have found that rides aren't important in the themed areas, I didn't put and in and it worked fine. It will save you a lot of money if you just skip the rides and go to theming. As for Clint Bushton and the fireworks, Stratospere works fine, the morters are spread out so just have a path going between them and start it manually as he walks by.

I never had an issue with lalaland. I thought it was rather easy. All I did was put space theming on the entrance strip for clinton. then after that, in the back of the park where it's empty I made an adventure themed area with a few themed rides. had Joe go over to a ride that had him walk through it and bam. done.

I had no problem at all with this scenario.

The only problem i had, was that everyone seemed really hungry and thirsty, and constantly need the toilet. No matter how many stalls i put down people just didn't want to drink/eat.

Anyhow, my strategy (and it worked twice as i've completed it twice now).

I create a large rollercoaster on the nearest hill to the entrance, this was rather large went on for about 2minutes, i didn't finish terraring the thing due to the amount of money it would of cost, but it was called Predator and got a high 8.12 on the excitment and roughly 5.7 on nausea.

Anyhow, i scraped the rest of the park, and slowly built a long walkway, going from the left of the large central hill. I built my science fiction base on the other side of the hill, (spending roughly 3 million on shaping the land. Had roughly 5million left, so i built one of those launching rollercoasters, and built a nicely shaped arabian type fort. With the pirate ship and a few shops and the phoniex twister.

It took a while, but the best thing to do, if your vip has to travel along way to get to the 'themed' areas is picking them up as they enter the park and dropping them in the themed area, once they have gone through their waypoint, pick him up again and drop him by the park entrance. Voila.

For Sci-Fi, add in laser fences, sci-fi trees and a few sci-fi objects. Keep the 3 sci-fi related rides and add the drinks cantina. - done.
