Another Bootstrap and payoff the loan strategy. You can see that it took me several years to win this and I had to impress Kara Oki twice. I failed the first time. (between 1 and 2 hours real time) NOTE--So far 2 others have added posts to this strategy thread giving advice on how to win this scenario by trashing and destroying items already in the park. You can win this scenario without having to do that. All scenarios can be won without selling out!

As always build shops and stalls at first, and then go through the available rides in the thrill, junior and gentle category. I made a rather simple coaster at the end of the initial pathways across from the hotel. Perhaps spreading out the starting rides and a more exciting coaster could do the trick for a quicker win. Hire janitors and mechanics, about 3 of each and train them fully as time goes on.

A strategy of payoff $1000, use the next to develope a new ride and one stall, payoff another 1000, then use the next to train the staff to the first level. Payoff 1000, develope ride and stall, payoff, train. This is what I did and as time went on I used my trained staff to inspect rides more frequently. Then in anticipation of the final push, I started to hire a few more mechanics.

When you have paid off the loan, there is no shame in reborrowing and building another coaster if you still need to boost your park's value. Set Kara Oki's path to just visit a coaster and set some mechanics to patrol that coaster. Set up some security guards in the park becuase you know our little starlet and autographs, she does not like to be bothered by them.

As you play, boost the prices on the rides and the food and items by at least 50%. Then go back later and adjust the price of non profitable rides. I had a couple rides I could not get the peeps interested in but I beleive that was becuase they were suffering from tunnel vision in my layout.

You can notice in the starting picture how I used the outside of the path and then as time went by, I started to build over that center area.

To make this scenario a little easier start out with building an airpowered rollercoaster in between the 4 roads you start with. As easy as possible, just a platform, 3 or 4 flat pieces and then go up. Set the price to 6 and see the cash come in.

I'm having alot of trouble with this scenario for some reason.

I build everything, I open the rides, and people go on them like crazy for the first month, then after that no body goes on any of my rides... .and I don't quite understand why, I've started the park over quite a few times and the same thing keeps happening.

The most recent time I built my park it looks quite similar to the park in your picture, but the same thing still happend =(

In the future, try not to resurect threads. On the plus side, it does mean you at least did your research.

Build a ride, open it, wait a while, build another ride, open it...make the peeps want new rides. If you put in all the rides and then open the park, you won't make money.
