I need to either be told how, or to be directed to a tutorial that explains, step by step, very detailed, how to create a structure with a roof, and possibly two floors... thank you...

The best tutorial is to go to the building editor under tools, and practice, practice, practice. Visit the exchange and the sites listed.
Better still, check the other post YOU put up for the reply to that instead of posting another.

That post was about creating a mall with elevators...

Now I just want a structure..

Same thing, just no elevators. It works for either one the same way. A Mall IS a structure, a structure can be a "mall"

I never needed one, nor did several thousand others, if you're to lazy to experiment on your own, everyone else is too lazy to teach you. Use creativity and imagination, everything is changeable at any time, so trial and error is best.
What you want would take a manual, would you pay someone to write it?

I did and have answered your posts, notice no one else has even made an effort to reply? That's because they know what it would take too. So you get over it, k?

Get over what? It'd be helpful just to be told how to put a roof up.. I had to look up information just to know that I have to push Shift to get a roof "sort of" on the wall... I'm just asking for some information, some hot keys, anything, on how to make a building... I hardly know which keys do what, so I'm just asking for that information... How am I supposed to experiment when I don't know what to experiment with? I am not looking for a quarrel, I just want some help, that's what these forums are for, are they not? Thank you... and if you want to write me a step by step manual, I will pay... got PayPal?

I have to side with The Skipper on the Practice issue.

I did my first building in the ingame tutorial and though I finished it, my roof then was in the middle of the building, not on top of it.

I next attempted a structure in Scenario 4. It is not something you have to do in order to win the scenarios, but I had begun to see items like Mikeyca's amazing Alice Rollercoaster and thought this has some great potential.

After experimenting and seeing a bug with the glass cieling and moving people who were lost in the midst of the track, I experimented a bit more.

Now I can build walls and put on roofs when I feel like it. I am (if you are following my series on strategy guides) in the midst of LA La Land and that is all about themeing. So I am now putting my skills to use as I build some theme walls around the areas for my VIPeeps to visit.

The Skipper and the Galactica Mall have shown a great achievment. I probably won't ever emulate it. But experimenting with the palette that is provided will soon give you confidence in the ability to build many things. (And then clamor for more, more, more so even more creativity can be unleashed.)

As a course of study, I would go to the building designer and start with a 2 x 2 square and build a small single story house, then do a 3 x 2 double story house, then go from there. Master a few simple buildings and then take a look at the forums, say looking at the Adventure world (I think that is it) park which looks a lot like the place Walt built ;) and then get some inspiration for even greater designs. Hopefully we will one day have a ride exchange where we can exchange buildings, scenarios, etc...

good luck

That/those are the only "hot keys" shift left, shift right, each has different characteristics, bothwork on scenery, but for shops only the left shift key raises them. Experimenting harms nothing in game, it's pretty hard to screw up. Like DW said, start small and work up. I did just the opposite, and ALL I ever did is experiment first, what does it cost? Just a little time.

More new stuff finally from me, been having upload issues. The Park and shots are listed in the exchange forum.

W.I.P. Wild Kingdom Unleashed

There are a lot more structures to view and get hints from as well as pics from my next project "Greatland"

Like I said before, too. Check the threads I made in Veteran's Discussion for more creative idea's
