Your scenery objects and ride events have the smoking effects, to just have that part show, select , say, the volcano, and when you have it, use left shift to lower and "hide" the rest of what you don't want to see. Lowering the snake lamp to the ground (the scenery one) can make a campfire, etc. etc.

But just be careful because the volcano is soooooo huge, it will remove MANY of your coaster supports if the track passes over it. You can also download the smoke firework from www.rctpyro.com (or just copy it from your particle effects folder and drop it in your fireworks folder) and make a repeating very long firework display and set it to start at 9:00am. That site has a great flamethrower firework effect too.

Yep, you can do that, too. :D

Speaking of special effects. Anyone figure out an easier alternative for displaying a continuous effect (all day/night) without having to keep reselecting the same firework until it covers miles on that moving mixmaster graph? Someone on another forum mentioned something about that loop icon kind of thing (upper left of the firework mixmaster next to the select looping music check box). It seems you can't even select the icon.

I don't know of any other way than that...I simple loop option would be perfect. :(

For smoke and fire, go to the menu where you add scenery items. Once there, filter out all themes except generic (the top hat), and filter out small, medium, large and animatronic scenery types. You will be left with about four scenery items all beginning with the word 'particle'. Simply choose one and it will appear as a sort of emitter until you place it somewhere. The scenery items in this group are:
large fire
small fire

Here is a pic of where to find it:

EDIT: It turns out you can only get these if you have soaked.
