I restarted a Disneyland and basically, been working at it for about a month. So far I have main street done up to Sleeping Beauty Castle. Pretty much building the park on scale. I have some Pictures of what I have done so far.

Picture of Mickey at the entrance to the park, after all it does start here..

Here are some Pictures of main street.
RailRoad Staionhttp://img111.exs.cx/img111/103/mainstreetrr3hf.jpg

Looking down main streethttp://img111.exs.cx/img111/3525/mainstreet8xi.jpg

Can't have main street without coffee first thing in the morning!

I pretty much made everyshop on main street, exact building design and everything as well as the whole park will be like so obiously I wont show every single shops but you'll ge the idea as my park grows. I takes me a long time, msot of which is mainly researching every photo on the internet looking at what is where and what it looks like. her eis some more picts!

Refreshment coca-cola corner (did you know this is the only franchise who has outlasted all other competitors ..think coke has been in the park since it opened, carnation corner is now some other coffe brand..i forget.. I find neat stuff out while researching.

Plaza Innhttp://img103.exs.cx/img103/902/plazainn1wg.jpg
gotta work with me on these two buildings..took me alot of imaginering to make it look some what lagit.. hard to do without the use of good 45 degree scale. But it worke dout alright I guess.

The hub http://i133.exs.cx/img133/796/thehub3pw.jpg

Man, It looks perfect!:D Great job so far!

03-17-2005, 11:21 PM
VERY nice - holy mouse poop - your Main Street looks absolutely stunning - keep it going!

03-17-2005, 11:55 PM
Your park looks very accurate so far! You'll have to be real creative keeping it this accurate as most of the buildings in Disneyland are on angles. Main Street is probably the only section that has buildings built on 90 degree angles. (Well, actually, not really. The side streets are not 90 degree angles either)

Good luck. I'll be curious to see how you do. One day I may attempt to do Disneyland, but I'm going to wait for a few more expansion paks with more scenery options and possibly the ability to do angles. (Ya, right. Well, there's always RCT4...)

03-18-2005, 07:43 AM
Your park begins very great. Main Street USA is really amazing.

03-18-2005, 08:18 AM
Looks great. Now I have to go back and recount all the Disney Land threads :bulb:

Cheers Tikitiki

03-18-2005, 09:16 AM
The look down main street from ground level took my breath away. One trick that you implimented was to sink the iron fence into the ground to get a shorter variety, which works great in this case. The hub also looks like an inviting place to take a rest. Great job so far.

03-18-2005, 06:08 PM
Thanks for the compliments fellas! I realize that 90 Degree's in the park will be difficult; so I will have to compensate and make them streight or atleast sort of fade in an angle. I am having a great time with Fantasyland. I think the end product will be worth while. I'll keep the screenshots coming.;-)

03-22-2005, 09:38 AM
I didn't notice this the first time I looked down Main Street, but the marque you created above the movie theater is brilliant. Great use of the floating space signs. Great attention to detail.

03-22-2005, 05:53 PM
I really like your park. I think your castle by far is the best looking castle yet for Disney. I can't wait to see more updates.

03-22-2005, 07:43 PM
Wow, great job, keep up the great work.

03-22-2005, 07:55 PM
Wow this park is verry cool it looks so real. Keep up the work I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

03-23-2005, 10:38 PM
Right now I am still working on FantasyLand. Having an issue in the middle with spacing. I made Snow white and next to it starting on Pinnoccio. It's because you can't really angle the buildings that it sort of crames up next to merry go round.. so tomorrow I might push the buildings back and just make it streight. I can, in theory, block the buildings in an angle..but what do you guys think I should do? Need some input. For now going to hit the sack and I will be back tomorrow.

03-24-2005, 11:52 AM
Go with the angle on the buildings. It will give a little more architecture to Fantasyland.

03-24-2005, 11:54 AM
Nice, man!

03-25-2005, 12:07 AM
I did a complete outline of FantasyLand all in angles. I have re-done Snow Whites Scary Adventure and it is in an angle , it look very nice! Happy I went with angles on it. I will try and get a screen shot up tomorrow or Saturday once I get the ride completed. I think you guys will enjoy it. What is weird is the left side is more at angles where the right side is streight. Since the right side will be easier, I intend to do the left side first. Right right side looks like it is in angles but in reality it just blocks back where the left side goes in angles(real life). I guess thats how they get the force perspective. (or what ever they call it)

03-25-2005, 03:22 PM
Great Brother Bones. I look forward to seeing your fantasyland. I would love to see a video of your Snow White;s Scary Adventures. You are the first one I know of that has built this ride. So I look forward to it.

03-25-2005, 06:15 PM
You got it bud.

03-27-2005, 02:07 AM
Well Promised I would post a picture by Saturday so here you go! I have been working on Snow White's Scary Adventures and Pinoccihios Daring Journey. It is not a completed product which I would generally wait for a screen shot but I want you guys to understand that I try to get every detail on what I am given to use. Spent most of the last 3 days trying to find out what the heck was in between Snow white and Pinocchio! Seems like everyone has the exact same Picture! LOL! But , I got what I need and was able to proceed with building. Anyways this is what I been working on.

This is a teaser shot for now. I don't like giving away to much detail until it is done. Hope you understand. Once my park is completed , however, I will give it to who ever wants it. I hope to be done by the time the new expansion comes out. With the new expansion, I can just touch up on a few buildings then maybe get one of you guys to host the file for download.

03-27-2005, 10:15 PM
nice main street
the castle is going to be hard to build
goof luck

03-28-2005, 11:38 AM
I like the look of fantasy land. Your mixture of themes is paying off with this land and Especially with you castle. I love your castle. Please do not change it at all. It is the best recreation I have seen thus far!!!!!

03-31-2005, 01:36 AM
I am almost done with the left side of FantasyLand exterior (YAY!) working on the Village Haus Resturaunt and did a few touch up's on the Pinocchio exit and surounding buildings. I have Snow Whites Scary Adventure track laid out as well. Had the whole ride done but deleated it when I decided that I needed to re-work the dynamics of architechture in Fantasyland. Thats all I can say so far about this special project I am creating. I will hope to finish up the rest of the left side of Fantasyland tomorrow as well as getting started on the right side, or doing the internal rides. Disneyland building is like playing Sim City, as it seems, all I have done is: building buildings.

03-31-2005, 02:52 AM
Make sure you dont forget to make the firework show:D

03-31-2005, 04:40 AM
I have fantasy in teh sky. got it from pyro.com or something like that..however,since I am making the exact park, I will need the fireworks display just like the park.I will do that last. If anyone wants to make it real, exact ect. My arms are wide open. I have to much work on the park though to mess with fireworks.. it takes a looong time to make Disneyland bud. I take precise time in each thing I create to bring the magic to you.

03-31-2005, 12:50 PM
Wow, that looks nice, cant wait til it is finished, my favorite area is Tomorrow Land, cant wait to see what you do with that! This park should be joined up with the Fantasmic ride, that would be one hell of a park!!:D :D

03-31-2005, 03:25 PM
The expansion is suppost to have a H20 mixer wich will allow you to create water shows with lazers ect. When that comes out I can create the fantasmic show. I already have the complete shows sound track, so just wating for june or july to get here

Last time I was at Disneyland I saw Fantasmic when it first came out..didn't know what it was about , thought it was going to be a little lame but It was pretty darn impressive. Heck this was back when they were just building the indiana jones ride in Ca. So its been a LOOOONG time since I been at disneyland. I just have a good memory and a butt load of pictures and time looking and researching making this park .

03-31-2005, 04:01 PM
Check this website out BrotherBones.

They have satellite pictures of Disneyland and California Adventure. You can see EVERY detail of the parks. It is really awesome. Let me know how this works for you.

*Sorry about that first wrong web address - this is the correct one - let me know if it works.*

03-31-2005, 04:29 PM
disneyland255: that website you gave does not exist (it is currently "for sale"). Did you enter it incorrectly? That sounds like an interesting site if you know the right address. Thanks!

04-01-2005, 11:37 AM
I re-edited my post once I got your response - this will work. It is a cool website.

04-01-2005, 11:59 AM
Too bad you have to buy it though! I was hoping for a site that had the pics up that you can actually look at for free. Oh well!

04-01-2005, 12:10 PM
But if you want to be able to download the picture without paying, I found this site:
Good stuff!

04-01-2005, 02:23 PM
I actually have the whole overhead view on my computer, then you can zoom in and it works pretty good. That is a poster it looks like. The problem is you can't see the side or the inside of a building just some of the walkway and a few rides.a lot of it is covered by trees. Mostly what I do is look up pictures then piece it all together where things go, watch videos of rides and get ride blue prints from scottware and other disneyland sources. If you find another sites let me know. Think I just about covered every single disneyland site on the face of the earth. No kidding!

04-04-2005, 07:27 PM
Been busy this past weekend with Army stuff so I havn't had a chance to build my park. I will be working on it agian tonight. Sorry about any incovenience this has caused anyone

04-05-2005, 12:00 AM
I have tons of pics of Disneyland. If you need a pic of a certain area, just let me know and I might have it. I can scan it and post it.

04-05-2005, 12:59 PM
How is Fantasyland coming along. I am really looking forward to your Update!

04-05-2005, 07:07 PM
That would be great shyguy! I could use some pictures of the Frontier/Fantasyland walk way , probabley from the Village Haus resturaunt and beyond. Fantasyland is coming along. I have started working on the PeterPan Exterior last night and did the Villains Lair.. I have a little bit to build inbetween the two then hopefully work up on mr. Toads exterior. I am doing the exterior then the rides inside. That way I know how much room I have to work with since both rides are next door. Same with Pinocchio and snow white.
Shyguy, I will take pretty much any exterior photo's you have of the Fantasyland walkway so i can get some scenory details on the outside of the Que.. Other than that I am making it work concidering its all angled buildings

04-06-2005, 02:10 AM
Well, I don't have much from that area. Here's all I have. I hope they're some help.

Here's a fairly nice shot of the Village Haus. I expect you have a shot of this already.

Big Thunder Ranch.

04-06-2005, 09:58 AM
^^ That is where I met Mickey at Halloween, when he went, his Guards said "He is just going for some cheese, he'll be right back", of corse he was going for some Jack Daniels. The stress of being an entertainer pushes them to drink, tut tut.

Well back to the topic, I really want to see Fantasyland finished, as it will help me on my park, as it looks a bit like Cartoon Village!

04-06-2005, 05:20 PM
Thats a nice view of village haus thanks! You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of the walk way in the back from Fantasyland to Frontierland would you?

04-06-2005, 08:36 PM
This is all I've got. It's very old, before Fantasyland was refurbished. Hope it helps some.

http://img43.exs.cx/img43/2568/scan122jg.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us)

04-06-2005, 11:21 PM
wow thats a nice overhead of part of BTM.. Thinking about re-doing the village haus. I did Mr.toad up to the mad hatter hat shop on the corner.. cant seem to figuer out the lay of that building. so the way it lays is the same lenght as the village haus. My village haus needs to wrap around a little more than what I have. those two end area's seem the be the toughest. I can't wait to get done with Fantasyland. it is by far the most challenging in the park. If you have any more pictures of those two area's feel free to post them!

04-07-2005, 01:16 AM
Here's a picture of that area. It's not great, but hopefully it will help a bit.

http://img108.exs.cx/img108/2161/scan130ie.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us)

04-07-2005, 07:26 PM
nice do you have anymore of that area? not to sure where the path is leading

04-07-2005, 08:58 PM
That's all I've got. The main path leads around the small lawn, to the Mad Tea Party. The Mad Hatter's building is oddly shaped. I don't think it's made out of 90 degree angles. But it's very hard to tell exactly what shape it is. Good Luck.

04-07-2005, 10:57 PM
looks like the left path dead ends at the mad hatter shop and the path to teh right leads right into the castle wall at mr. Toad, however, I have a picture of that closer up and it doesn't appear to be nothing but a resting area, stoller parking place. So the question is, where are all the people going? Because to the right of that is a doorway which I believe is an exit point for track "A" or "B" for mr. Toad. So why would all the people be going into an exit or is it an entrance to somewhere else?

04-07-2005, 10:59 PM
Ok i figuered out the left path, its actually a path that splits, just can't see the path continue on so it actually forks, a small path going to the mad hatter shop off the main path..but the right path still baffles me.

04-07-2005, 11:03 PM
The only explaination is since this is a older picture, the path goes in between the two hut looking buildings, so the mad hatter is an island type of building, and according to the image I have, there is a gate there which maybe they can open and close depending on the amount of traffic, and the entrance to the right (or exit for mr toad) is just that... SO with my hypothesis, I believe I will build it just as I described. But first I want to see what your oppinion is.

04-08-2005, 12:55 AM
http://img234.exs.cx/img234/9537/scan13a7nu.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us)

Here's my take on things.

The Mr. Toad queue begins as guests enter through that gate. and then wraps through that archway and then into the main doorway of the manor.

04-08-2005, 07:36 PM
LOL your right ! Makes sense now . I was wondering if that was the dumbo ride on the right. Well guess I will go at it. I'll be posting screenshots soon so you can see how it turns out.

04-08-2005, 07:40 PM
your sure the ride to the right is dumbo?according to the over head picture of disneyland the dumbo ride sits far off to the left of the main path I think that might be king aurthors carousel..None the less RCT# doesn't come with a dumbo/spider type ride so I will have to leave the dumbo lot vacant for expansions.

04-09-2005, 01:13 AM
Maybe this will help...

http://img122.exs.cx/img122/2103/scan147eu.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us)

04-09-2005, 07:57 PM
sweet, where are you aquiring these pictures?

04-09-2005, 11:37 PM
Here is what I have been working on the last week in Fantasyland. I have been, of course, doing other changes here and there. ShyGuy has been helping me out with some debates on the Mad Hatter and the Mr. Toad area. I will put in a dedication shrine for those who help me out with photo's ect. I will most likely put it in front of the park entrance when the park is complete. Anywho, without further delay I have some screen shots;" just three" of Peter Pans Flight , Mr. toads, and the Mad Hatter shop (The conspiracy photo ShyGuy helped out with his awsome photo! thx bud!):p

I did add what each photo was in paint shop when I converted into JPEG but you can not read them so I am saying now, this is just exterior unfinished products.

PeterPan http://img134.exs.cx/img134/8499/peterpan5wg.jpg

Mad Hatter http://img123.exs.cx/img123/2853/madhatter9et.jpg

Mr. Toad http://img112.exs.cx/img112/1195/mrtoad0pt.jpg

Mad Hatter next to Mr. Toad (Yes, there is two mad ahtter shops where you can get your name engraved with mickey mouse ears..the first is at town square which is the entrance of disneyland and the second is in FantasyLand. Just some Food for thought ;)

Thats all I am going to show for now folks

I work on this park everynight when I get home from work so the weekdays only leave me about 3-4 hours and it will take me that long to debate every possable way to make every building with the resources I have to be the very best, and bring it to you.

04-10-2005, 12:47 AM
Wow that is truley Awsome dude!

Cheers Tikitiki

04-10-2005, 02:34 AM
Great job! You're really capturing the essence of each attraction. Are you building the insides as well?

sweet, where are you aquiring these pictures?
I ordered the poster online and just got it in the mail 2 days ago. It's pretty cool. It's much clearer than the one you can dowload for free. So if you need to see a certain area, just let me know. I'll only charge you a couple dollars each time. Just kidding!

I'm going to order WDW Magic Kingdom and Epcot next.:D

04-10-2005, 06:15 PM
awsomo! I will be building the inside. It is easier to get the basic outside layout so I know the amount of space inside i will have to work with. Alice in wonderland will most likely have to be built on top of Mr. Toad's wild ride as it is in real life because the back area isn't real long.

04-10-2005, 07:21 PM
Could any of you guys tell me where I could find a good shot of the exterior of Snow White's Scary Adventure? Also, I am looking for the layout of Mr. Toads Wild Ride. I could try to do it by memory like I am on other things, but I'm afraid I have not ridden that ride enough to have it all in my little brain! Thanks!
And Brother, your doing a great job, I'm working on my own Disneyland Replica whenever I get a chance, which is not very often, but you guys all inspire me!

04-10-2005, 10:52 PM
Been working on the Village Haus today. Here is a screenshot. Still need to put in the chairs and put some stalls for food ect.

04-10-2005, 10:55 PM
I have some exterior photo's of snowwhite.. try disneypix.com or what is easier is go to google click images type in the keyword, snowwhites scary adventures and it will show you a list of pictures. Just have to do the endless search. I spend mass time looking for every possable angle of exterior buildings to build. I have a picture up in here somewheres in this forum n8pat. You could use that for a reference if you like.

04-12-2005, 11:04 PM
I finished Mr. Toads Wild Ride inside and out. Got the scenory ect. I have two tracks for this ride. I think it turned out pretty sweet. I can't really give you a great picture inside the ride yet I will get some on ride pictures or video once i get the roof on and I will do that once Alice in wonderland and peter pan is done. Here is a couple shots from outside the ride with scenory.

Once Fantasyland is complete I will make a video of all of it inside and out. (wonders how to make a video...) I'll figuer it out

04-12-2005, 11:34 PM
Start recording with ctrl+shift+f11 press it again to stop. press ctrl+shift+0 to do the fliying camera got to Klinns website for more info

04-15-2005, 10:41 PM
Going to be making the Peter Pan flight ride, however, I am not sure what track to use for it since it is suspended. I am thinking about using the chair lift since it has a nice tight turn radius which will work well with the limited amount of space and allow me to add more details in the small rooms. Also it has unbrella chairs to almost simulate the flying boats. Only downside to using the chair lifts is that you will pretty much go threw the ride to the end then go back threw the ride agian. If I added two stations then some would go backwards through the end to the begining of the ride. I was thinking about the suspended monorail but the turn radius suck, and the cars are to biog, just would be out of place. Any rollercoaster is also no option so I will have to do the chair lifts. Not sure if the expansion has any kiddy type suspended ride coming but if they do, I can just redo the ride with the new track. so at this point , I just see the only inconvience of using the chair lift as going through the ride twice, from start to end back to start which will maybe lengthen the ride maybe giving it a more excitement rating. If any of you have any "OTHER" ideas or thoughts, let me know :)

04-15-2005, 11:10 PM
mini flying coaster?

04-15-2005, 11:23 PM
Hey Astro was just checking out your park tonight..looks great, although, I never been to Disneyworld in Florida, I am sure you captured the essence of the entrance.
Mini Coaster..hmm well I had thought about that as well. Just any coaster is going to need lifts. Can't really have Peter Pans Flight going at 60 miles an hour in a 20 x 25 grid zone :p Nah I havn't checked out the mini coaster yet. The more I mess with chair lifts the less I like it only because it uses two platforms rather than one which means: more entrance, more exits, and more room :sour: Does the mini coaster have the ability to have an all streight track? I really wanted the capture not having any floor. I have great expectations for this ride. Alot of planning.

04-16-2005, 12:18 AM
sure you can lol, you can call it peter pan flight 2, the returning of revengence.

naaa, i know what you are talking about.

Thanks for the comment on my park 8)

Yeah I like the WDW entrance. looks neat.

04-16-2005, 01:45 AM
Okay, I haven't played around with too many coasters yet, but you don't need a chain lift with all coasters. You can use block breaks to move your cars along the track and not ever use a lift. I'm not sure if this is so with any of the suspended coasters, but it's just a thought...

04-18-2005, 06:28 PM
3 days without a post?!?! any updates?

04-18-2005, 10:48 PM
Sorry about that leaf! Actually this weekend I built Peter Pans flight using a mini coaster and I am suprised how well that worked! thanks to astro for pointing it out! It actually goes slow so you can look around. It looks pretty good. Don't think it could be any better with the limited scenory I had to work with. I didn't get a chance tonight to work on the park . tomorrow I hope to get started on Alice in Wonderland ride then seal up the right side of Fantasyland with a nice roof. Pretty much took me all weekend to get PeterPans flight done so I imagine it will take a few days for Alice in wonderland considering I only get 3-4 hours on teh weekday due to work. Most of it was experimenting with the ride element of coaster type I wanted to implement. Fantasyland is probabley the hardest part and I am happy that it is coming to a end soon so I can get started on other areas of the park.

04-19-2005, 12:22 AM
I cant wait:D .

04-20-2005, 12:22 PM
so it did work out, that is good.

Your welcome.

04-20-2005, 06:45 PM
how about you do something like the soaked! ppl.....a couple of screenshots every week, say every tues, so we can get regular updates. whadda ya think?

04-20-2005, 08:05 PM
I think I can come up with a "Picture of the week" I can post every week. Eventually, I will have to set up a web page and post all of my Disney pictures and link it to the forum so people won't have to read all the threads to see the pictures. Maybe include video as well. But I am not ready for video's. The more time I spend on video's, the less time I will be building. I might not be done by the time the expansion comes out which can be good. Will be less I have to go back over and change to better looking scenory. But that won't take to much time because the park will already have rides in place ect. All I will be doing is giving face lifts. Just hope they include more diagnal scenory with windows. Thats what I really need. Anyways time to work on Alice in Wonderland. BTW if anyone has a good track layout of Alice in wonderland, feel free to post it. I looked at the one on scottware and it is just one that is sort of shadey. I can work with it but unable to tell what part of the ride is upstairs and what is downstairs.

04-22-2005, 07:03 PM

ive posted this a couple of times already....there you go

04-22-2005, 08:43 PM
already said I had that one bud in the second to last sentence of my last post but thanks anyways!

04-23-2005, 02:18 AM
oh whoops sorry >.< i read that you needed layouts and then i didnt finish reading the post

04-23-2005, 02:58 PM
Alice in wonderland is complete! I will post some screenies tonight! I can't believe I pulled it off. Part of it goes over Mr. Toads ride just like real life. The out side of the ride amazes me on how I got it to look like the real thing. As real as I could anyways, but you be the judge. While I am on the topic. Would you guys ridicule me if i used the swinging chairs in place of the dumbo ride? It will be only temp until Atari makes one more similar..I just need to put something there.

04-23-2005, 07:17 PM

I closed up peterpan,mr.toad and alice side of fantasyland. I have Pinocchio almost done then I just have Snow white to do. then just a few scenory touch up's for the main part of FantasyLand. After I get that done I will put in the merry go round, dumbo and the mad tea party tea cups, then work on the story book canal working my way back to small world. Then set up the mattahorn.

04-27-2005, 11:40 AM
sounds goood:up:

04-27-2005, 11:54 AM
nice screenshots from allice in wonderland, it looks very good :) keep it up m8, this will be a good park :)

04-27-2005, 12:22 PM
For some reason the pics are not pulling up on this thread. I would really like to see your creations!

04-27-2005, 07:46 PM
Hey disney255 havn't seen ya for a while... I dunno why you can't see the Pict. I see them, but I know last night I could not. so might be a site issue. But Seems okay now. Maybe try it agian or reboot or something?Anyways there are quit a few pict in the forum, you'll just have to look around in here.

04-27-2005, 07:47 PM
THey work now! I love the outside and you did a wonderful job! I am very happy to see some new pics on your park. What is your next step for this park?

04-27-2005, 09:17 PM
Thanks! my next step is basically to get done with inside of snow white, and do some scenory for the path, put some chairs in at village haus yadda yadda, then put in some of the outdoor attractions like mad tea party, dumbo (which I will use the swinging chairs for now since it would be the closest thing I can think of to a flying elephant.. casey jr and story book canal working my way back to small world then work on tomorrowland. I will finish the park and work until it is done, might even go through to the next expansion which will save me some time of not having to go back to redo anything but I will most likely have to redo Fantasyland since the expansion is suppose to have fantasy themeing. I won;t take it all off and start all over though, just will give it a little face lift on where I will need it and maybe add some better props inside the rides. What has taking me so long with Fantasyland is really, making it work as close as I can get it. It isn;t all at an angle but when you look at it from ground view, it looks the same as in real life ground view level. only way you can tell that fantasyland is at an angle is through an aireal view of it. Anyways this forum will be going for some time so keep in touch.

04-27-2005, 11:04 PM
nice looking 8)

04-28-2005, 05:32 PM
Can we see more pics! Please!!!

04-29-2005, 12:12 PM
I am done with snow white and Pinocchio! I think I am glad I renovated snow white, looks 90% better than before. Pinocchio looks great as well. Wish the ride wouldn't go so damn fast though. I have the setting with breaks all through the ride, think the min is 6 miles an hour and the breaks are set at 2 but it still hauls butt..Any of you have any ideas on how to get the ride to a crawl?
Anyways All I have lf to do is the main path way, some outside ride landscaping, roofing over snow white's side of fantasyland, some fine dinning chairs for village haus, few little stalls, king aurthors carousel, dumbo..I can prolly do all that by tonight rest is easy..all down hill from here as far as I am concerned. Man that was grueling but it's not something you can rush either other wise it will look like crap! I'll try and get some screenshots up tonight of Snow White's Scary Adventures and Pinocchio Daring Journey. I'll have to post up Mr. Toads Wild Ride and Peter Pan's Flight as well. I think you all will dig the whole flying high over roof tops I did on that on, its not to bad

04-29-2005, 12:28 PM
Put a block brake here and there so the car will slow down between brakes. Maybe that will help. Good luck and I am glad it is coming along swimmingly. I just wanted to use that word for fun, but good luck!

04-29-2005, 02:29 PM
Well basically I put a block break through out the entire ride..so...I dunno

04-29-2005, 04:29 PM
Just do it every two or three pieces. It will give the car/train some time to slow down. then pick up again a little. Try it and let me know how it works BrotherBones.

04-29-2005, 08:09 PM
Will try it later..I got the sword and the stone put in lol looks awsome. Anyways I am off to the movies to take a break, gonna go see The HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxey! Be back later.

May I ask you what might by those in the know seem to be a stupid question? In most of the screen shots that you put up for us to see there are white menu bars down the right side of the screen shot in addition to the regular icon menu stuff along the top and left side. What are these menue bars? I have never seen them on my game. By the way, I am a huge Disneyland fan (I was there on opening day 50 years ago and go at least once a month sometimes more. I love the place and you are doing a super job. I tried and gave up. I have done a Magical World of Harry Potter Theme Park though and since that one was from my imagination, it came out pretty well. Anyway, great job and I am really curious as to what those white menu bars are. Thanks for the Park and any help.

04-30-2005, 04:36 AM
Lost Boy:
Boy how I wish I could have walked in your shoes, to have the chance to see Disneyland back then, but even more the chance to see or meet Walt Disney himself (not that you did but just the idea of being alive when he was and having the chance to be at Disneyland when he was, seems cool to me!).
As for the white bars on his pictures, those are the menu bars that appear when you are building your park in the Scenario Editor mode. This allows you to build a park and set everything you want - er rather can. Set the price, the size, the money, etc, etc. It is an option under the Tools menu from the Main Menu. There is more to it then what I have described, but that basically tells you what and how to get to the white bars on the side!
Is your Harry Potter park on here somewhere? Wouldn't mind seeing it!

04-30-2005, 05:20 AM
Hello Lost Boy! Welcome to the forum ! N8! where ya been?!

I can tell you that if you want to make your own Disneyland park...you might want to wait for the expansion because all that I have built thus far which has taking me about 4-5 months ,I will have to re-scratch because of the new themes coming in June. Re-scratch meaning: I will just give face lifts ..but most of my time was spent endless researching. If you want it exact, and your like me who never took pictures at Disneyland , and pictures in corners of rides, odds and in's places (like whats between snow whites scary adventure's ride and Pinocchio's Daring Journey) then your ok because I managed to find this one particular corner after looking for 4 days. See stuff like that can really slow ya down :( But that is the life of a profectionalist to.

04-30-2005, 02:37 PM
Ok, I see what I looking at. I have only built in Sand Box Mode. I just want to build a park to my liking and make movies of it and stuff like that. I am no where near as talented as you guys are, I just do it for fun, although the HP park is very detailed and themed to the "House" of Hogwarts. I have a couple of peep groups that I made wandering around the place. One group is Harry, Hermoine and Ron and the other is Snape, Draco, Crab & Goyle. I tried the best I could to get peeps that resembled them in face and hair color and then just dressed them in what I think they would where to this place. To bad there isn't a Wizard set of clothes in the game.

The HP Park is huge and I have no idea how to upload stuff to any of these boards. I would think that even zipped it would take forever so I have never even thought about it. And I don't know if Sandbox Mode Parks can be played by others, and I keep tweeking this thing every day when I see something that isn't right. It a neverending story. Opps, wrong book.

04-30-2005, 03:19 PM
click on the RCT3 ride exchange. Think you can upload there. Many have there own web sites too that offer upload and download , sharing of parks ect. whether it be sandbox or scenerio editor, i believe all can be shared/used by others.

04-30-2005, 03:25 PM
Hey there BrotherBones. Just wanted to say what an amazing job you are doing thus far. My rl gf and I are season passholders at Disneyland here in CA and, once I can download your park, I'll be able to go even more often(I'll be able to do it from the comfort of my own home ;) ). Keep up the great work!!

04-30-2005, 05:25 PM
lol thanks. Yea thats the general ideal behind it, go when ever i want :) but when you actually gotta build it, there isn't much time for fun :P

04-30-2005, 05:43 PM
Yeah, I like this recreation a lot, I cant wait to see Splash Mountain, and your recreation of New Orleans Square!!!!

04-30-2005, 08:24 PM
I already did all of those areas on my first disney attempts and it was stunning, i am sure the second time around will be better because I have more room now to work with . Thsi was before I knew about scenerio editor which is actually or should be the way sandbox is hehe.

05-01-2005, 02:32 AM
I hear you there BB. I started a park in sandbox and fortunately early on found out I should have been using the scenario editor. The upside for me was the same for you albeit to a lesser extent. More experience with the tools meant a better park. I'm about 85% done with my park at this point and actually considering a redesign after the expansion pack. In any case, if I am going to post my park(Disney's Land of Legends) I better do it before you finish or I'll be shamed off the boards ;).

05-01-2005, 03:17 AM
hahaha, same here, I was using sandbox for everything I made, and I just recently found out about the scenario editor.

Do you have any screen or a link to your last Disney project? I would love to see what you did with it.

05-01-2005, 09:09 PM
I have my old park saved actually, and compaired to this one it looks lame as hell because when i first did it, i was just going off memory , my park is a funny story because i started making a park
just wanted a created one, but I had made the haunted mansion which I had a zone for spookland and it looked very much like the one at disneyland, so then I though well I will make some disneyrides in my park, then it started more and more becoming disneyland. I just had the haunted mansion in the wrong location. After finding out you could make your land larger ect. I just started all over and did it right.

05-03-2005, 09:29 PM
I promised Leaf I would post a picture of the week. He said maybe like every Tuesday. I said sure, I can post a picture of the "week". Today is tuesday so just for him I will post a picture every week on Tuesday. Eventually I would like to get more geared to the weekend, however, I will leave it to a community vote on what day you would like a picture and we will call it ..I dunno, Picture of the week? :) I know some guys come in here all the time but feel free to post on when you think the best day, would be, to post the "Picture of the Week!' This will be a Picture I choose of the progress of my park. It will be also a picture that I had been working on but finished or still in progress. I will of course, post more than one picture if I finish and awsome setting E.I. a ride. For now, here is Picture of the week.

King Aurthors Carrousel and the Sword of the Stone.

I tried sticking it in a rock but painted land works and the actually rock does not.

Lost Boy 91405
05-03-2005, 10:19 PM
Ok, I started a new HP park in the scenario editor. I read on one of the above threads something about more room in the scenario editor than in sandbox. They look the same to me. How do you make land bigger. I tried all the tools in the land/park management menu, but nothing worked. The manual that comes with the game is no help at all. Everything seems to work exactly the same as in sandbox mode, except all those menues down the side which ruin the look of the place. I am obviously missing something here. What?

05-03-2005, 10:50 PM
1)Once in Park scenerio, select the right side menu that says "Set Park Land" *second down from top*click that.
2) Where it says in light blue writing "Land management and status" you will see 6 icons.
3) the last icon looks like a map.
4) click it.

you select Plus/minus for more north or south ect. max land in square is 254 X255 give ore take 1

Lost Boy 91405
05-03-2005, 11:05 PM
Ok, I will give that a try. I am so exited right now because I just was notified by the VP of Media Events at Disneyland that my name is on the press pass list for tomorrows big press event. I work for a company that as part of it's business runs a Hebrew Language Newspaper, and I get to be Entertainment Editor on occasion. So tomorrow myself and a friend from work who will be the photographer are going tomorrow to see all the new goodies and stuff first hand. I won't sleep a wink tonight. But to occupy my time tonight, I will try that hint for making more land. thanks.

05-04-2005, 12:59 AM
OH SCORE! :D hahaha! thanks for the pic...as for the day, i have no clue. it doesnt really matter to me, as long as i get my 'picture of the week':p

05-04-2005, 11:44 AM
I can take a look at your wonderful work any day. By the way Brother Bones my wife and I are going to Disneyland this weekend. It is fun to see how accurate you have gotten our favorite park. King Arthur's Carousel looks amazing. What really sets a great artist apart from the others is if he(you) or she can take a simple ride and made it look amazing. You did that with the carousel. Keep up the great work! I look forward to your progress.

05-05-2005, 05:04 PM
Thanks for the compliment D255. What Disneyland are you going to? If your going to the one in Cali , grab a few screenshot for me :)

05-05-2005, 05:10 PM
We are going to Disneyland in Anaheim, Ca. We can not wait. We will definitely be taking a ton of pics for all the new stuff. Hopefully when we get back next wednesday you will have some new shots up of your park.

05-05-2005, 08:23 PM
sweet,if you can get some pict of the tarzan tree house and the buildings in and around new orleans square as well as the resturaunt outside NOS train station, coming off teh train station to the right there! Also need some pict of adventureland like the entrance to Indian jones and the entrance there of adventure land..that is if you have enough film and time.

05-06-2005, 01:19 AM
It is our 2nd anniversary, our reason for going. I can't promise but I will see what I can do.

05-06-2005, 02:36 AM
I found an E-3 Interview of Soaked coming out and grabbed the link for you guys! (can't believe they are allowing us to build tunnels in the update!!!)

just hit the link and click on Developer interview (click the "click for free" deal then you don't have to register to the site or nothing silly)

So with this in mind I will hold off on making the mattahorn. You guys can wait a month I am sure ..I won't even be close to being done by then anyways which is good for me because I won't have to back track as much. Just hope the update doesnt jack my park up in anyway. I should be fine, Anyways, check it out!

05-06-2005, 02:38 AM
One last thing

Splash Mountain, Mattahorn, and Big thunder Mountain will be extrodinary with this!!! I won't let you down as long as Atari doesn't let me down!

05-06-2005, 06:15 AM
I started working on Casey Jr and the Story Book Canal, my head hurts already from it lol. It is doing two rides that over lap, plus figuering out the right hieght equal to Dumbo's flying circus. So i have the general track of the boat ride, and a general hieght of Casey Jr. however, I am not sure what parts of the train go up and down. It will take some researching for sure. I do have the mad tea party up with music . F^cking halerious! it looks awsome though, I cheated and took a ride on it tonight and took a night shot of in the ride.

05-06-2005, 07:03 AM
You know I have about every song for every ride, so when I zip this, will the songs zip with it and go with each ride? Something to think about. Maybe someone who comes along that is familiar with that sort of thing; can tell me how to zip-a-dee-doo da it all.

05-06-2005, 02:38 PM
I am wondering if I should allow peeps to use the row boats or something through story book canal. Right now I am using the Rafts but it goes to fast like the other ride.Anyone have any ideas?

Pepsi Crisp
05-07-2005, 02:50 PM
Brother Bones, where do you get your music from? BTW The Tea party looks really cool!

05-08-2005, 05:09 AM
Hi Pepsi, I get alot of my Disneyland theme music from visionsfantasmic.com. Anything not there I just do a little google searching.

05-08-2005, 02:06 PM
its visionsfantastic.com:p so hows it coming along?:D

05-08-2005, 02:13 PM
Not to bad man, Been working on the story book canal, what a pain in the @ss it is , well was, just terra forming the last bit of track then all thats left is detail.

05-08-2005, 03:34 PM
Hey there, Brother Bones. You may or may not have seen my name around here...I'm kinda new, and I've been going through this thread reading some stuff and marveling at your work. You are beyond creative, man. The way you've managed to recreate all that stuff with only the elements the game gives is really inspired. You make me want to just uninstall my game and walk away. I am not worthy, man. (I was just kidding about uninstalling, though)

Anyway, I just wanted to say I am very impressed by your work.

When do you expect to have your Disneyland completed?

05-08-2005, 04:48 PM
I appreciate your kindness Noocy. I really don't have a time frame.I think once the expansion comes out, things will move a little better for me because of the ability to build underground. I am doing two rides at the same time right now , the whole canal story book area which is coming along just fine. I actually started it then it wasn't in the right alignment and all that so I started it all over. I been on Fantasyland for ages it seems but it is coming to a near . New Orleans square and frontierland shouldn't take half as long. Tomorrowland might take a few months only because I have to find what goes where and what it looks like now compaired to 10 years ago when I was there last. I am going to say I might be done sometime in July maybe?

05-09-2005, 10:46 PM
You're welcome! Anyone who takes the time to put that much effort into something like this deserves the kudos.

And please, don't rush it. I am willing to wait until you are done with it. I will just have to keep checking back in here to see when you are finished.

If you think you might like an interesting diversion, check out my thread (if you haven't already) about "Moon Base Beta"...it's my SciFi themed moon/alien planet park complete with a unique coaster design that takes total advantage of the way I did the landscape. It's not a complete park...yet. But its a gamesave and you can download it and maybe add your own creative flair to it. :alien:

05-09-2005, 11:17 PM
I would love to check it out when your completed with it! Sounds like fun! I wanted share this picture of story book canal I have been working on.

I know you look at it and say , thats all? Well can't really see much been doing the tunnels ect. Yes real tunnel. Been also getting the track as perfect as I can with the real thing. I don't think I will be able to add little houses or anything because, well there just isn't any in the game but I can add misc stuff like miing type stuff odds and in's. I did make monstroe the whale out of generic building and it worked pretty good. Will have to attempt it in this final version of the track. Anyways I am almost done landscaping then I will be adding tree's ect. I only worked on this for about an hour tonight and took sunday off from building. I will talk to you guys later!

(The brick is just reference points for me and not a final product or anything)

05-10-2005, 08:23 PM
Not sure what type of water ride to use here for all of them are fast. Any idea's would be wonderful! I am sort of leaning towards maybe peddling type like maybe swans or something. Any takers?

05-10-2005, 09:27 PM
swnas would be nice, there pritty too :noob:

I know in my original post, I said it wasn't complete, but that's just on my end. Its a work in progress (I have so many...)
I've since added some scenery up against some paths, and made a couple of SciFI buildings, and I may make some additional small changes, but you can get Moon Base Beta (http://uploadhut.com/view.php/93358.dat) right now if you want to. :)

Here are some screenshots of inside Snow White's Scary Adventure. Enjoy!

I will post up some pictures of Peter Pans flight tomorrow. Have a great night/day (where ever you are);)

I am back from Disneyland Brother Bones and unfortunately I was not able to get those pictures for you. I am sorry. :( But I can tell you that since I was there.....I was comparing what you have done with how the park looks and you are spot on! Great Job and with memories of 10 years ago.....your doing fantastic! I would like to say that if you can make it during the 50th celebration to DO IT! It will be SO WORTH IT!!! Good luck and I will keep looking at your amazing work!

05-12-2005, 05:55 PM
Welcome back D255. Hope you had a great time at Disneyland! I wanted to go to Disneyland this summer but my fience used up all her time off going back home to see her sick mother. SOOOoo.. I I am SOL this year :( Unless I get a friend or something and go anyways (hee hee hee). It is okay that you did not get the pictures, no biggy. I am working on Story book canal currently. But providing a bunch of picts. of rides in Fantasyland i had forgot to post, got all cought up in moving attraction to attraction. This will keep you all occupied and happy while I do other attractions.

05-12-2005, 06:37 PM
WOW! Awesome park! Is it laggy?

05-12-2005, 11:00 PM
No it's not laggy. Not to my system anyways, might be on others. But I don't have peeps walking around and all the rides open either.
Casey Jr. and StoryBook canal is proving to be a worthy Foe of mine. I might redo storybook land all over for the 3rd time. I can't seem to figuer out the hieght of the coaster and it is really making things difficult the way the two come together. I just don't like it at all. Other than not liking it, it doesn't make sense. The canal is at ground level at the entrance. Casey Jr. is at ground levelat the entrance, but some how on the start of the ride to where it goes over the whale with no hills, it goes over the canal. So if anyone has any suggestions let me know. I would say that Casey Jr circus train starts at an higher climate than the storybook canal starts at and just goes streight and ends up higher? If this is possable, then it would be impossable to get the same effect in the game since the track stays on a 1/3 vertical plain.

05-15-2005, 05:39 AM
After searching around, I happend to find a full length video of the ride. I have rode this home video ride about 30 times now I think? Had to save this baby to my hard drive ! It was gold. I also rode the story book canal. With distinct pictures, video of both ride through and through, as well as, satellite photographic pictures. I have conquered the obtrusive obstical and made it possable. I have decided to use the swan boat self paddle for the following reasons:
1) It just fits right in to any story book telling.
2) I wont get sued for injuries.:D
3) It allows me to have the water paths the way it needs to be as close as possable.
4) I want my peeps to burn caleries so they can buy food at the near-by Village Haus!!!
I can add a 5 but the real bottom of the line reason is #3, Any other ride would be crap for real fellas.

05-17-2005, 09:44 PM
Good choice BrotherBones. Without a decent(slow) boat ride there is no other choice for the story book canal than the self propelled water rides. The swan is easily the best choice from among our choices. Keep up the amazing work and I cant wait(well I can....and I will ;) ) to download your park.

05-18-2005, 12:13 PM
Good luck with this Brother bones! I can't wait to see some new pics!

05-21-2005, 03:09 PM
anything new there brotherbones?

I am new to this forum. You sure have put a lot of work into your park. Congratulations! Do you have a web site for your park? I am good at creating a web site, if you are interested. If so, feel free to contact me.

06-07-2005, 06:32 PM
hey i posted the same post on the Destination Vegas thread cause im just wondering what happened to this park. there hasnt been any updates lately so yea...sorry if i wasnt supposed to dig this up and ask. its an awesome park haha thats why im asking

06-07-2005, 06:55 PM
I would love to see this park finished. What's up Brother Bones? I hope nothing horrible.

06-07-2005, 07:28 PM
This is by far the best DisneyLand park in RCT3 :D Very well done...

06-07-2005, 08:43 PM
Just wanted to support your work brotherbones!
After looking through your thread, I really love what I`m seeing. Great recreations and I like how you helped yourself around missing scenery-elements in the snow-white-ride and still did an amazing job!
keep it up

06-08-2005, 06:34 PM
I have a lot of work yet to be done to the park. Thanks for all those who been supported. I wanted to say first that I been away a lot due to work ect. I will be away agian for 5 days. I will be back building as soon as possable. I think it is best that I wait for the expansion pack to come out for now which is the 20th I believe? Then I will resume building the park agian. but don't worry I just didn't stop playing entirley and I will finish the park. Just thought I would put some hope up there for those who want to see it completed as much as I do.

06-08-2005, 06:36 PM
Right On! Hope things can calm down a little bit for you. I look forward to seeing what amazing things you will do with the expansion

06-13-2005, 10:12 AM
Great to hear that the project is still alive and well. Real life gets the best of us all sometimes. My current workload has significantly curtailed my playtime as well.

And I totally understand about waiting for Soaked. After seeing the number of significant additions to the game in that expansion pack, I am intending a complete redesign of my park (which had actually had 4400 guests in it and was near finished). Between framerate enhancements water improvements, tunnels and waterfalls, and the new attractions Soaked looks to be a major addition.

Cant wait to see the finished product from you BB. But I will ;).

06-24-2005, 09:28 PM
FINALLY!! the best buy here was on back order for the game but finally got it tonight so back to work!

06-24-2005, 09:39 PM
YAY!!! This is a great Disneyland, cant wait to so the final product.

06-25-2005, 03:01 AM
I can't wait to see your Disneyland park with Soaked! Good Luck Brother Bones!

06-25-2005, 03:46 AM
All I have done is re-roofed the mad hatter shop in Fantaseyland. the rest has been play. What I have seen so far is tunnels: excellent for mattahorn. Waterfalls: I tried to make small ones but I think it has to be certain hieght? sucks @ss!!!! now I can't make snow white's grotto better... I can make a arial grotto with the little mermaid, plus stick that at the end of my peter pans flight ride so thats a bonus! I think slowly chris is putting in disneyland themeing. You can tell... come one a mermaid!? very clever and a "boat shuttle " And a laser water show". we knwo he has made disneyland before he will eventually get there elluding the cooperation of Disneyland inc. but YAY! Okay so boat ride to Tom Sawyer iSLAND. sTILL NO dUMBO THEMING YET!!! :-(

No new scenory really and the 45 degree paths only go for "swiming pool" which bust my you know what!

really isnt a whole new which I though it would be! it is sorta Bullsh!t because what they added, besides water ,we paid 30 bucks to go under ground and have some water rides!

06-27-2005, 03:24 AM
You can get some great birds-eye perspective shots of DL here:

Or just go to terraserver.microsoft.com.

06-27-2005, 07:53 PM
That's quite a list there...sounds like a lot of cool stuff has been added. I guess I'll find out once I install Soaked!

07-05-2005, 01:18 PM
Hey there Brotherbones! How's things going? How is the park coming along? I would love to see what you have been doing with Soaked!

07-19-2005, 11:18 PM
im a new member here but i have played rct2 and 3 for ages. i got them both as soon as they came out. I also got soaked as soon as it cam out. Now, brother bones yr park looks real awesome it is by far the best rct3 recreation i have seen (any others that may contest the title send me a link lol). Any way just wanted 2 see how the park is going and now that soaked is out how long do u think it should take 2 complete? if any of u have heard of Wet n wild on the gold coast in aussie i will be attempting a recreation of that park using soaked. Any pics are appreciated.
Anyway keep up the good work brother i can wait till it is finished!

07-20-2005, 01:10 AM

07-20-2005, 01:36 AM
I think BrotherBones has given up on this park.:(

07-20-2005, 02:58 AM
wow man that is awesome. Keep it up! yrs is the best rct3 disneyland ive seen. But can anyone give me a link to any other 1's that are complete or a link 2 a download? Anyway cant wait till i can download it it should be awesome. Could we maybe have sum more updates, i luv those.
anyway keep it up and put up a download ASAP!!!!!!!!!

08-06-2005, 09:39 PM
Well I havnt done much to my park guys, Just got back from field training in the army. It's been one after another and then having the whole summer fun in the sun. I am slowly working on Casey Jr. almost done with that finally. I had to re do some areas with the new tunnel system. I am back more at that. I also got a whole new puter so had to transfer some data onto new so I would not have to re-do disneyland all over *thankfully* I have the nvidea g-force 7800 w/ sli so lets say RCT3 soaked looks friggin awsome in maxed graphics settings! Anyways sorry i havn't been around and left you guys hanging. I am around don't worry. for now going into rct3 to finish up some details on Casey Jr and the story book canal :D

08-08-2005, 06:13 AM
HEY!!!!!!!!! i was begining to think u had given up. i would love to see some more screenshots and stuff. maybe a movie? but anyway now that u strated again how long till u reckon it will take u? can we maybe have a shot of the whole park just to see how its goin? anyway keep it up!!!!!

08-08-2005, 12:41 PM
Well havnt done to much more from the last time I was posting but this weekend I been working on the casey Jr./storybook canal getting it exact , or trying to anyways and it is almost complete. Pretty much just have to put in the scenic type stuff which I am trying to figuer out how to make small houses. But I will post a screenshot when I am done with that then maybe start working on the mattahorn to take a break from all these small kiddy type rides. Still dunno what to use for the dumbo ride though, perhaps the octopuss or something.

08-08-2005, 04:29 PM
omfg brother bones this is the most realistic disney i have ever seen

i showed it to my mom and she didnt realize it was a game until i told her and she said she was wondering where we were lol cuz all our pics have me our someone we no in it

great job though im very jealous :weird:

EDIT:me and my mom r waiting to see wat u have next we're both obessed with this park ahaha

08-09-2005, 11:41 PM
Here are some pictures of story book canal. I am pretty much done except the que, random speaker placement, and around outside scenory.

This is all I could think of for the entrance, but hey, it works :)

Here is an overhead view of the two rides. Kepp in mind at one point i had the track exact, but I had to modify it just a tiny bit in the back there , its just not as "round" but its round enough for 3 months of work lol. (not that I worked on it that long just been busy ect. Over all maybe a month on this ride.Only because it is two rides in one just about.

This is Alladins Pallace.. as small as I could make it. It really is about the hieght of a normal park person game wise ..if it looks to big its not ..its what you call force perspective :)

Here is the 3 little pigs house on the island. The First made of 'Straw' (yellow). The Second made of 'Sticks' (brown). The Third of 'Brick' (red). I laugh when I say that because I watched a video someone took at disneyland on the ride about 30+ times gathering Intel on what is where ect. Storybook land is the last ride I will go on when I go to Disneyland :P Anyways in the distance is Pinnochios Village with mountians behind it.

This last screenshot is of the waterfall at the end. I really think I captured the essence of it. You can't see where the water starts but just that it is falling over a cavern. In reality they have a mermaid inside it. I placed one in it as well but its kinda hard to see it.

I still gotta put some wreaths by casey Jr. Ride yet , also I have inside the cave of wonders done but failed to produce any photo for it because I was not able to get the camera in it. I don't have any guest in my park yet so I tried to ride it but the boats just sit there because there is not any actually testing for that type of ride. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Not the best quality when Imageshack only allows you to use jpegs. More to come though!

08-10-2005, 12:37 AM
wow that looks cool. but is there anyway 2 get rid of those buoys, they really look bad. but could u give us a shot from over the park? i just wanna see how its lookin. when do u think it will be finished? hows the lag?

08-10-2005, 12:54 PM
lags a big problem with my parks i like to put alot of fire effects in one ride and it makes it really laggy

its indoor but its so laggy i cant even put the roof back up

08-10-2005, 07:52 PM
I can get rid of the bouye, but then the people would just ride at will where ever and there wouldn't be any set path to take. The lag isn't bad at all and I have full graphics maxed. I turned down one effect because the glowing was interfering with having to see in dark area's while building. I can't say on your system it won't be laggy but on mine I have a 600 dollar video card. Nvidea 7800 Pci Express with Sli. As far as an overhead shot, lets just say I can't fit all of the park into one picture it would have to be two halfs, but I will get an overhead shot when I have my key areas built , so far though I have mainstreet to the end of storybookland done with need of touch up around the castle ect.

08-11-2005, 08:21 PM
Anyone have a good picture of the que lines for casey jr and storybook land (and surrounding area too)? I see plenty of the light house but just close up's of the light house. Can't make out anything else.

08-11-2005, 09:23 PM
i have a geforce mx 4400 with 128 mb

im not sure about the rest of ma computers specs cuz im not on it
right now im on my sisters laptopin my sisters apartment and she has a small air condition and i feel nauseas:(

08-11-2005, 09:59 PM
and i feel nauseas:(

**Builds a First Aid Stall next to you and places some benches.

Dont go sharing your lunch now! lol

Anyways, Awsome Job! Keep it up, I really loved watching this park take shape up until now!

08-11-2005, 11:16 PM
What do you mean sum? What part of this park turned you off?

08-11-2005, 11:27 PM
a 4400 Bballdude? My old card was a 5700 and it wasn't to bad with lag but I will tell you that you will need a much faster card and cpu when my park is finished. At one time I had a date but thats when I was new to RCT3. I believe it is going to take much longer. Might even run into the next patch lol. It's not because I don't have the time , well part of it but maybe like 30%. I would say I spend more time collecting data on what looks like what and where it is. So about 50% involves that. Then the last 20% is actually building. You see these other people building disneyland parks and do it in a few weeks, but compare thiers to mine. I am building every shop, restroom, and ride to as close as I can. I want to make people feel like they are actually at Disneyland. I even go as far as getting the music for every ride. This is a very delicate process and thanks to everyone who had and is supporting my work!

08-11-2005, 11:33 PM
On a second note, can anyone tell me whats across the path from storybook land besides the Mattahorn? I also know there is a small block type building next to the exit of storybook land. If anyone wants to assist in research I would be grateful!

08-12-2005, 04:40 AM
Storybookland and Casey Jr. look awesome. Glad to see you're back at work on this project. I'm also jealous of your graphics card! :p

08-12-2005, 08:11 AM
Im sorry I meant the share your lunch thing about the quote, of the post above me.

I meant that this park is really taking shape, really neat. I love the disney theme parks and this one is very much so a disney theme park.

08-12-2005, 06:37 PM
Ok sum thanks :)

08-12-2005, 06:39 PM
Damn, hey shyguy! how have you been bud? Good to see your still around! Well gotta go do some research and see if I can't figuer out what the path to small world looks like.. Basically need to know what buildings are across the path way from storybookland.

08-14-2005, 03:07 PM
I am laying the ground work for tomorrow land. I finished fantasyland except the theatre, matterhorn and small world. I want to take tomorrowland and meet it up with fantasyland to insure I have propper spacing.

08-14-2005, 03:10 PM
This is going to be tough :) I have no idea what it looks like these day's. But then agian I wasn't to sure about the details of fantasyland either but managed. This might take a while so bare with me.

08-17-2005, 03:56 AM
hey cmon how much more do u have 2 do? when will the dload be put up?

08-17-2005, 04:27 AM
wow... its really look like the disneyland park... great job!

08-17-2005, 11:42 AM
I am so excited to see you back to work on this project Brother Bones! Matterhorn next? I can't wait!

08-17-2005, 03:47 PM
I cannot wait for this to be finnshed!Hurry up will ya!;)

08-18-2005, 07:08 PM
For tomorrowland, rocket rods or wedway people mover? both rides are extinct , but I wanted a general poll of oppinion.

08-18-2005, 07:17 PM
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE People Mover come back!

08-18-2005, 08:22 PM
People Mover!!!!

The Rocket Rods were a fiasco. I never even saw them working. I think Disney would just like to forget about them, and you should too.

08-19-2005, 08:39 PM
lol well I thought the rocket rods were still there until I was doing some research and read that they took them out and I was thinking to myself, Already? But people movers it is, and what ever they put there later the track will still be there at that.

08-20-2005, 04:55 AM
So how long do u think now? It doesnt sound like long but i bet the matterhorn wll be the hardest

08-20-2005, 12:06 PM
wow! its amazing how close ur getting to an exact replica! keep it up!

08-21-2005, 01:21 AM
Hey cmon update! we need one we r all hangin on to yr every pic!

Spaced Mountain
08-22-2005, 12:20 AM
Well, right across from storybook land is what is now called Fantasia Gardens. It use to be the Motorboat ride, but was removed and Disney put in Hot Dog and Turky Leg Carts. That area is in transformation again with the rehab of the Submarine Voyage.

The area in front of Storybook is also a main intersection connecting Toontown, Tommorowland and Fantasyland. There are a few areas of fenced off grass and trees lined with benches and Food carts right in front of the Matterhorn.

Oh, and don't forget that the Monorail runs overhead along the path in front of the Storybook entrance.

It's a funky area as far as pathway design goes.

08-22-2005, 12:36 AM
For Space Mountain, I really hope you build an actual cone for the mountain. What I do is find the circle shape of the size of the base of the mountain you want. And then build a slant going up. I was working on a RCT3 version and it was looking great but I abandoned it because it takes up so much time to build. But it actually looked like Space Mountain.

But hmm.... I would like to also see you build the WDW Peoplemover. But that takes lots of work too.

08-23-2005, 08:59 PM
Sorry about being abscent a few days been slammed with the army /work thing. Got home late tonight as well but so far I have tomorrowland on the star tours side mapped out all the way to about where the balchoney is where HISTA is. I been doing research though on how people get up on that ledge in front of space mountain. I can't find the que line for it. If i remember right from years ago when I went, didn't they have esculators that took up there ontop and there was like an arcade on the right? Snd doesnt the line to space mountain start underneath that large balchoney and sort of takes you down to ground level or even lower?

08-23-2005, 09:03 PM
ur wrong with space mountain

it does start there but then it goes higher and u come to the top and thats where the coaster starts

from wat i remember last summer

08-25-2005, 07:56 PM
Fair enough..you last summer, me about 10 years ago :)

08-25-2005, 08:20 PM

08-27-2005, 11:10 PM
hey so how long till u expect a dload? are u usin custom scenery?

08-30-2005, 07:58 PM
No I make everything as I build the park . Are you meaning like make the scenory then save it as a whole?

09-01-2005, 11:25 PM
Sorry guys I will be away for 3 weeks or more. I have been activated to go help efforts in Louisianna. This project of course will be on hold until I come back. I am sorry for any inconvienance. Tis the life of a soldier though. I will take some pictures while I am down there and post some screen shot. Stay cool everyone and I hope to return to see your smiling faces!

09-01-2005, 11:35 PM
Well, lets hope some people survived....anyway brother bones, I'm curious on how your going to build the matterhorn?

09-02-2005, 09:04 AM
Hey BB - good luck, be safe, God bless

10-07-2005, 07:16 PM
Man space mountain is going to be tough. I started the process of the frame but I am trying to avoide having it look like a pyrimid. I want to manage to somehow get an octogon but I don't think that is going to work. Any Idea? OH btw I am back :)

10-07-2005, 07:21 PM
Hmmm, I wish I could give you some suggestions BB, but if you need any help with the matterhorn, pm me......;)

10-07-2005, 08:08 PM
Hopefully more info on the new PeopleMover will be out by the time you finish your park.

Use a circle within a circle. Or something like this:

10-08-2005, 06:53 PM
that looks pretty neat. IS that all dirt though? I want to try and avoid building a mound just becouse it will be a pain to create the que, the ride and scenory with in it. I do have a template of a circle made out, just have to figuer out how to piece up the walls and roofing to keep the integrity of a circle. I am experimenting with differant things. I think I am going to use the white roof with black inside because once its built up, it looks completely black inside from what I made so far. This works on high noon to so it looks pretty good, however, it turned out to be a square so back to the drawing board :bulb:

10-08-2005, 07:08 PM
There is no Earth Mound.

I built this right when RCT2 came out. This was my first project.

10-08-2005, 07:20 PM
isn't that WDW space mountain? I think he's building Disneyland in Anahiem.... still...it's pretty much the same but the cone isn't just sticking out of the ground....it's sticking above another building. But that's an amazing SM Dark Measures! Also can't wait to see my two favorite rides there Bones (Indiana Jones and Matterhorn...but the new SM is also up there)

10-08-2005, 07:55 PM
Okay i havwe a new deal going, a nice circle, you guys are gonna love it when its finished, right now building the roof and I will take a screen shot, save the roof, then deleat so I can put the coaster in ect. then I can just put the roof on when I am done

10-08-2005, 10:18 PM
Okay here is a pict of space mountain. Of course i still need to put up the towers and fill the inside in ect. Not a perfect circle but it has rounded qualities :) I think this is about as good as it gets.

10-08-2005, 10:20 PM
The outside Plaza is not that big. Use Google Earth for reference.

10-09-2005, 12:26 AM
Yeah I know, I am going to take care of it. I can move the mountain closer in. But on another note, what is this google earth ?

10-09-2005, 12:34 AM
You can look at any play on Earth. The quality for all the Disney Parks is very very good. But Alton Towers has almost no sign of it exhisting.

But it is for free. Look on google's website. There are pay versions too that allow you to see more.

10-09-2005, 12:53 AM
I just downloaded the 7 day trial, wish I could see it from a 3d view that would rule! I just dont want to pay 400 dollars hehe

10-09-2005, 01:16 AM
You know, there is a version in which you can keep it as long as you want for free.

10-09-2005, 09:55 PM
I have a site listed under my favorites, since im a Disney-maniac, its a virtual tour of the magic kingdom, but I figured you could use it to get some First Person shots of the Florida Magic Kingdom for some inspiration in your disneyland, I know its not the same park park but there are some similarities.

Link: http://www.wdwvirtualvisit.com/157.htm

10-10-2005, 04:07 PM
I appreciate it bud, I am sure it will be useful for something :D

10-19-2005, 08:11 PM
Just about done with space mountain, doing the easy part like adding astroids and sound. Already have the que and all the tunnels completed. Coming along pretty good. Any of you getting the expansion Wild! ? About the only thing I have seen so far that will help in my park is the jungle cruise and of course the boat they have which I can use for tom sawyer island. I hope but doubt they will make a deal with disneyland. However they might be able to score a deal with lucas by passing disney for my star tours.

10-19-2005, 08:35 PM
Hey brotherbones, check out the starwars-scenery on this page for your star tours. hope it helps!

10-20-2005, 09:59 PM
I Don't know what that is but its not a normal program for RCT3. I can't have that type of stuff in my park because I would have to get what ever program they are using and anyone who wants to download my park will have to download the same program. Big hassle but would be cool if they did have that stuff in the game!

02-13-2006, 09:18 PM
noooo dont use wild...i dont have wild and will probably never get it because 15 gigs of memory just dissapeared on my computer!!!

Soda Jerk 205
02-13-2006, 10:18 PM
nice bumo..........

02-13-2006, 10:34 PM
OK.......this is getting ridiculous.........STOP RISING THE DEAD.

02-13-2006, 10:38 PM
what???...or sorry i didnt realize the date...i havent been on since the summer and i just searched this park real quick cuz i wanted to see how it was shaping up....sorry!!!

02-13-2006, 11:30 PM
Keep up the amazing work hey you should put rocket rods in that would be sweet one of my fav parks on the forms.

02-23-2006, 06:20 PM
Good to see I still have fans, I havnt been getting any notices in my mail that post were being made. Anyways I took some time away from RCT because I been playing WoW and building this park was feeling like a job. But I have been working on it agian for a week now. Tomorrowland really sucks to recreate but taking a break helped me get back into it. I am even having fun using the new billboard system putting up disney charictors ect. I don't want to go hog wild because some year when I am done building this park (lol) I don't want to have 10 files worth of stuff you'll need for it to work. I do hope you guys think about getting a decent video card though, tomorrowland especially space mountain is alot of items for your card to process. I don't have any problems yet and I have maxed graphics but some may...

02-23-2006, 06:27 PM
I didn't want to use the Rods because it never really was around for any time to make and impact, it will not be back agian so I am going with the people mover using the transit since thats as close as I can get. Which speaking of..I have the Star tours done as well as space mountain, hista and the people mover runs through it all. I havny finished adding stars inside space mountain yet which only takes a few billboards with stars on it but the right side of tomorrowland is completed saving the scenory like lights and trees for last. Only thing I have left is the innovation, pizza port then the grooling task of figuering out the submarine , autotopia monorail, manttahorn combination since it all interwines.. which that seems like more fun because really all I have done with tomorrowland is building buildings after buildings and making them work inside each other.

02-23-2006, 06:32 PM
I will never give up my park to let everyone know..but I might take frequant breaks. I am at the stage where I will have to keep going back over things as they come out with new expansions to replace lame icon type stuff like (chess pieces that represent people ,place or thing) and replace it with real mermaids and such. I read that atari is going in the hole so I don't think we will be seeing a new expansion out for quite some time. Can anyone elabrate on this ?

07-27-2006, 06:56 PM
When will your park be finished and available for download? I can't wait!:D

07-28-2006, 04:43 AM
Hmmm... some of this looks very familiar.. looks good :P

07-29-2006, 01:48 AM
I am waiting on Atari so I know where they are heading as far as RCT3 goes. I went to disneyland in May and found that my park was made bigger than I remembered it lol. So I am waiting on them to come out with more expansions, seeing where it leads ect. I will more than likely reconstruct it agian though to get it better to scale. I wont deleate the whole park I will keep main street going. Right now its all on Ataris shoulders though. I dont want to drive any further on this project until I know if RCT3 is dead because I do not want to have to keep re doing rides and construction to replace generic with new stuff.

10-27-2006, 03:24 AM
looks like a very good park. updates soon please!!!

05-28-2007, 12:26 AM
GREAT i can't wait for you to put it up for download, if you werent planning on it PLEASE PUT IT UP!!!

05-28-2007, 12:33 AM
o ya but it would be awesome to continue it, i mean you went this far, why stop now just because of size? But i do see your point but theres probably not going to be any more expansions.

Im just saying if they don't make any more expansions please continue i would love to see what it would be like finished.

05-28-2007, 09:52 AM
please don't revive dead threads.

05-28-2007, 10:35 PM
please don't revive dead threads.

:bored:Why? it's a great park!(probably the best noncustomscenery disney park ever) ...still waiting for your "frequent break" to be over...:sleep::sleep:

You do realize how long this has been dead...

05-29-2007, 06:48 PM
I am ALIVE! (j/k)actually I am still working on the park, infact I am making an expansion to shyguys main street set. This thread might be dead but I am not, I just havn't decided to post any pictures of the new park due to spending most time modelling.

Soda Jerk 205
05-29-2007, 08:07 PM
 Your alive!
Just kidding.

Will we see an update anytime soon then?

05-30-2007, 06:49 PM
well hopefully. I havnt worked on anything for 2 weeks because I had got married and went on a honeymoon and been trying to settle in from all the excitement that has recently risen in my life. I want to try and get the pieces I need made before I continue on main street or atleast the pieces for main street done to continue (if that makes sense). When I do an update, it more than likely will be a new thread but I guess I can use this thread too.
