I know I have alot of incomplete parks but..... I had this idea in my head and I just couldn't resist starting a new park. Oceania has me way more excited than Rivers End. Here are some construction shots.

03-20-2005, 09:35 PM
i just want to know how you make that rounded terrain :( i can never do that

03-20-2005, 09:42 PM
It takes a lot of patience. I used it in limited amounts on Gotham City. Just grab the tool that allows you to move edges or corners of a single tile to any position, and start making your curve.

A big help is to lift them up to a blocky version approximate of what size you want your curve, then smooth it out with the aforementioned tool.

But, again.. it takes lots of patience. The folks around here who are doing on this scale get major props. I simply don't have the patience for it.

03-20-2005, 10:02 PM
/gasps for air!

Woohoo! Now that looks superb!

03-20-2005, 10:14 PM
Here are some more shots, including construction of the bridge to the main island.

03-20-2005, 10:24 PM
This is really cool CV, keep it up!

03-20-2005, 10:28 PM
Woo... progress already!

I liked the round towers uncapped, though... even though they'd just collect rain and such without proper drainage  They looked cool uncapped. I dunno.. I'm weird.

But anyway.. awesome stuff.

03-20-2005, 10:30 PM
Wow..................................... ........................................Amazing................. .................................................I wish I could do that...................................... ...................Keep it up............................. ..............................Wow.............(repeat)

Keep up the great work.

03-20-2005, 10:59 PM
supercool, as we've come to expect from you ;)

03-20-2005, 11:20 PM
Are you turning this into a park? Any way you can quickly make a scenario out of it?

03-20-2005, 11:22 PM
I like the architecture with the land, again. It gives it a very modern look. Your terraforming skills are the best here on this forum, your use of the terrain is probably one of the reasons you are as good at creating these masterpeices!

Keep going! :)

03-20-2005, 11:55 PM
how big is the park gonna be?

03-21-2005, 02:01 AM
That looks... so sharp, so beautiful, so rounded... The building and the bridge is awesome!

Err... So sharp, so rounded? Umm... Now i have confused myself...

03-21-2005, 04:59 AM
It's an impressive architeture! I want to see more of this park!!! Love it! Ciao!

03-21-2005, 06:35 AM
Thankyou!

Enjoy. I'll have more later today.

03-21-2005, 06:51 AM
Great idea putting those flumes between the arches! They look very good there.

03-21-2005, 07:25 AM
Wow! That's super, original and very creative! Keep up the good work!

03-21-2005, 07:38 AM
how did you change the colour of them curved terrain???

03-21-2005, 08:04 AM
WOW! Thats amazing! I love how you put the flume inbetween the big curved things!

GREAT JOB circleVision!

03-21-2005, 09:07 AM
Whoa circleVision! That park looks so good, I almost thought it wasn't from RCT3. A lot of people have mentioned the curved supports etc, but I think that the little hills surrounding it were an excellent choice! They accentuate the architecture by providing a stronger contrast to the eye. Nice trick :D

03-21-2005, 01:54 PM
Oh, I didn't know that was going to be an actual ride! It looks fantastic! It would be cool if you could put on-ride photo things on the drop, that would be a cool photo!

Great job! :)

03-21-2005, 02:03 PM
I love it so far, very creative and original, can't wait for more! :D

Good for you circleVision! Many times we don't finish parks because of the lag issue, but for those who can, there's usually a feeling of guilt believing one has simply given up, or is a quiter. However I'm a firm believer in working on what you have a passion about. If Rivers End no longer is fun and exciting, why continue it? For the community? Sure, it's fun to have the community gather around your creation. But it is you that has to put the sweat into creating it - we just sit back and drool over the screenshots. So you might as well enjoy the ride if you're going to be spending endless hours on it in the first place. Plus, this park feels like you. It has your signature trademarks all over and says "circleVision made this". And as always, I'm a fan of whatever you create. So, job well done. This looks like fun.

03-21-2005, 04:19 PM
Wonderful work again, CircleVision! The way you have alternated the curved terrain with the hard edged glass enclosures looks amazing. And building in the river boat rides was a great idea. Wow, just think what you'll be able to do with waterfalls when Soaked is released!

I wonder if, when Frontier released RCT3, they had any idea what novel uses would be dreamed up by talented builders such as yourself.

03-21-2005, 05:56 PM
Waterfalls will be awesome. Can't wait.

03-21-2005, 08:05 PM
very very nice, i havent had the patience to do the landscaping that way but i intend to sometime, this looks absolutely beautiful, you did a great job.

03-21-2005, 11:04 PM
Looks good Doppio. Always new you were an artists waiting to create.

Good to see you channeling your energies. This will be a park I will enjoy visiting once you are finished.

Thanks again.

Cheers :D

03-21-2005, 11:12 PM
Awesome job so far CV!

I have also discovered the freedom and expression that using terrain for buildings gives you. I have used it a bunch in my Coercion Dynamics (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=452504) park, and I really like the diverse styles that can be presented with this technique. Plus... it really cuts down on lag!;)

I really like the look that you have accomplished so far with this park. It is very unique and very dynamic. Keep up the great work!:D

Your friend in gaming,

I just wanted to take a second to tell everyone here how much I appreciate all the replies. They really keep me going. :D

Tah! Tah!

I haven't forgotten about Adventure Kingdom. I still have plenty of FPS with that park, I just kinda got side tracked.

03-22-2005, 02:46 AM
Just saw this park for the first time today. It's spectacular, as are all your parks. I just don't know how you get the time to create all these masterpieces.

03-22-2005, 09:05 AM
Cliff Side Hotel is an excellent addition to an already stellar park. I didn't know what to expect as to what you'd do next, and that's what makes what you do so unique - it's totally original and unexpected. I like surprises!

03-22-2005, 10:25 AM
the park is amazing :) ;) :D i give it:up:

03-22-2005, 10:45 AM
 OH MY GOSH! Your archetecture is amazing. I love all of the sloping wall thingys. I think this will be a park I will HAVE to download.

03-22-2005, 12:48 PM
Holy Crap! I can't say more this park is absolutely amazing!

03-22-2005, 12:57 PM
The idea of the combination of ground and buildings makes the park already 10/10 in my books. Keep it up! :D

03-22-2005, 01:45 PM
All of your parks look stunning, but this could be my favourite :)

03-22-2005, 01:51 PM
this park is awesome !
And it's just the beginning !
You always know how to use terrain and scenery, and I really love the way you're theming this park ! It's very well designed, a bit futuristic but still realistic !
glasses wall for your hotel are amazing too !

Keep working like that and you will make something great !

03-22-2005, 11:34 PM
That's beautiful with the colored glass...especially at night and in the water reflections.

03-23-2005, 02:38 AM
I changed out the canopies over the restaurant. I like the discs much better. A little more whimsical.
http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18066658-M.jpg http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18066656-M.jpg
Another shot of Serpentine.

03-23-2005, 08:22 AM
Very good, again, and creative.

03-23-2005, 09:14 AM
Oh man, wow, clap - clap, gasp, ooh, aah...Serpentine looks, well, pointy. :D I like. This is simply grand.

03-23-2005, 10:22 AM
We need to clamp this guy into his chair, no food, no drink, no sleep. Only until we see more piccies.

This kind of talent is what really inspires you to go out and create your own theme parks. The hotel is so excellent that it makes all the stuff around it look not as realistic.

03-23-2005, 11:11 AM
I agree. Lets just clamp him to his chair so we can see even more amazing things. This is just makes my imagination go crazy. It would be awesome to see something like this in real life. There is so much to see and so much to do that my senses would just be going crazy.

03-23-2005, 11:18 AM
Very original idea for the spiral in Serpantine

03-23-2005, 06:47 PM
Another amazing park by another amazing person.

:noob: :noob: :noob:

03-23-2005, 06:55 PM
Your Serpentine is very cool! Like ALL the theme of your park! Bravissimo!

03-24-2005, 02:25 PM
My thread is upside down. What happened?

03-24-2005, 02:36 PM
This happened to other threads too - Not sure what is going on! Park looks amazing though!

03-24-2005, 02:39 PM
Wow Circlevision, you have some amazing talent that never fails to amaze me. You are very creative, this ride looks like something out of a Pixar movie, or something better. It is just so believable, yet still very fun and fantasy-like. Great job, and someday, I think you and Shyguy are going to have to seriously go into business with me to actually build some of these theme parks some day! Keep up the great work!

03-24-2005, 08:18 PM
*Lifts jaw from floor*

That's AMAZING! You've got true talent. Keep up the great work!

03-24-2005, 09:28 PM
I still can't believe the talent you must have to build this.

This inspired me to build my own park. (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=458461)

Edit: You HAVE TO make a download for the park when its done!

03-24-2005, 10:46 PM
Thankyou everyone. Here are a few more shots.
http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18174803-M.jpg http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18174805-M.jpg http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18174810-M.jpg http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18174807-M.jpg http://doppio.smugmug.com/photos/18174814-M.jpg

Once again, Thankyou!

03-24-2005, 11:05 PM
Holy crap! Love that second shot. The park as a whole looks amazing! Breath-taking work CV!

03-24-2005, 11:22 PM
! ! ! ! ! That's about all I can get out now!!!!!

I feel like I'm in the 1934 world's fair... I love this place!!!

03-24-2005, 11:25 PM
Oh my heart

You've got to be kidding me... this is just flipping spectacluar - those last shots look like a damn artist's rendition of a real planned park of the future. Hands down, the tops!

03-24-2005, 11:28 PM
I can't take my eyes off of this... it's sooooo ...

I had to post again...

03-25-2005, 12:03 AM
No kidding, this is really turning out amazingly. It's like you've set yourself free from trying to reproduce real-life parks and have found your own unique style. Not that your other parks weren't very well done, they certainly were, but this takes up a level. Who says a computer game can't be art???

One detail I really like - in the 1st and 3rd shots, the way the building's walls slope inwards, pinching in the glazing. That steep diagonal line gives the facade real character.

03-25-2005, 12:28 AM
Its so beautifulhttp://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/edoom/puppy_dog_eyes.gif!....must.....not.....be.....jelous..........

03-25-2005, 08:04 AM
It - looks - so - so /faints

03-25-2005, 10:42 AM
Shhhh!- listen! do you hear "optimistic voices'?

"You're out of the woods,
You're out of the dark,
You're out of the night.
Step into the sun,
Step into the light.

Keep straight ahead for the most glorious place
On the Face of the Earth or the sky.

Hold onto your breath,
Hold onto your heart,
Hold onto your hope.
March up to the gate and bid it open..."

03-25-2005, 02:04 PM
Absolutely amazing. Whenever I think "now I've seen it all" somebody comes up with an even more impressive design. It is indeed truely a piece of art, circlevision!

03-26-2005, 07:12 PM

03-27-2005, 04:23 PM
I just re-read the entire thread, yet again. I can't believe I haven't posted yet!!!

It's been a BLAST watching this park grow!!! Very inspiring! When I first saw the park I was all but floored... You latest work has me picking myself up off the ground!

Your use of terrain is absolutely amazing!!! A lot of people are gonna find some really great inspiration in this thread... Keep up the GREAT work!!!!

03-28-2005, 09:18 AM
When I first looked at the new pics, it took me a few moments to figure out how the heck you did that slanted slab roof. Very nice application of your path-as-roof technique. Reminds me of some late '50s or early '60s "World Of The Future" type building.

03-28-2005, 07:24 PM
Hello. Here is a small update.:)

03-29-2005, 01:15 AM
I hardly ever post, but I had to say that your park has to be the most outside-of-the-box thinking I have ever seen. The Space Mountain ride was up there too. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures and thanks for sharing.

03-29-2005, 01:18 AM

I know I have alot of unfinished parks but...........I really don't have an explaination. :D

I'll have more later. Thanks everyone!!

03-30-2005, 01:17 PM
Yeah man! That new tower kicks arse!
I really can't wait to DL this park and take a closer look. Maybe I might be able to discover some of your own building techniques that may help me :noob:

03-30-2005, 01:21 PM
Well, even if he will get the beta, he can't post any screenies or videos or other thingys here, or he will be insta-banned. :(

BTW, groundbreaking park!

03-30-2005, 01:23 PM
WOAH!!!!! Looks so abstract!!:D :D

That looks so friggin amazing, ive finally read about it all!! If only I had the talents you have!!

How did you make all these buildings, is it custom scenery? If so could you post some links to the imagines, as I would love to have some of that in my park, as it looks really cool, everything blends with that.

It is a weird choice of setting, but no matter, you pulled it off well good, keep it up!! Loving those pics!

Really? Well thats gonna be a pretty pointless forum then...

03-30-2005, 02:39 PM
so BTA says
Pyros is right again! And Tiki too! Basically we frown on postings of screens or videos even in the private forum, for a variety of reasons. Some are due to security concerns, some are due to the idea that testers will be using all their time to create videos vs. testing the game which is, after all, what you're in the beta for So yes, to post a pic or video that illustrates an issue, shows something you have a question about, and so on is fine. But just plastering up vids and screens, nope

03-30-2005, 03:44 PM
Well circleVision, if you are away on a Top Secret Soaked Beta mission, just be sure to return here afterwards and finish off this RCT3 Masterpiece...your public demands it!

*bows down and doffs cap*

03-30-2005, 04:51 PM
you here a noise coming outside of your office
you open the drapes and see a mob of people shouting things like "video" and holding signs that say "give us a pic" or"VIDEO!!"
or "updates are our friends" and variouse other things then you hear a knock at the door "its them "you think
you look through the peephole and see a man holding a briefcase.
he knocks again he sais hes from the IRS
you decide to open the door and let him in
he walks in, sits down, and opens up his briefcase
then youm see steel reflecting off the sunloght.
you start to back away but he stops you
you are now being held down on the ground by him he then sais to you
he pauses
"or we will kill ya"
he then thinks abut it
"ok fine we wont kill ya thatd be silly "
he increases presure on your shoulder
"we willl spam you to death though "
and with that he gets up and leaves
you manage to get bck up on your feet you realize he has left his briefcas behind
you look inside and see a metal labler set to say update
deeply confused by this you set out to the computer to update

so how didya llike "fan" fiction

CircleVision pretty much pioneered the 'terrain-as-walls' technique and has refined it into the amazing examples you see above. He also originated (I believe) the 'path-as-roof' technique which has been greatly elaborated on in this project.

Everything thing you see, we can do... ...oh yeah, heh, it helps to have CircleVision's imagination and talent...

03-30-2005, 07:14 PM
I like how in your park it looks as though there aren't any rides and stuff until you take a closer look. It's cool how you intertwined your rides with your scenery.

03-31-2005, 10:45 AM
Okay, who the hell bumped the thread rating down to 4 stars?

03-31-2005, 12:56 PM
You can do that with terrain? Wow, I am going try that out, thanks for the tip!

Seriously... This is so wrong...
Fantasmic has 4 stars also.

03-31-2005, 04:32 PM
There are stars??? :) Frankly, I never pay any attention to them in any forum. Rarely has any direct correlation with how interesting the thread will be for me personally.

03-31-2005, 05:19 PM
I agree :) I never really notice them either..but still, CV deserves 5 stars :p

03-31-2005, 05:22 PM
it happens. I have 4 stars on my other parks.

oh well it will go back up to 5 for this thread and hopefully mine as well. 8)

This park is litterally mind blowing. When I look at these screenshots all I can do is shake my head in amazement.

Love them day shots btw ;)

04-01-2005, 10:27 AM
I'ts really the best park I have seen ! Congrulations!

04-01-2005, 10:56 AM
While I love the use of ground-squares as malleable sculptural forms, the retro-futuristic layout, colour scheme and 'sea-hotel' vibe of the park - I really do think that your coaster building skills could do with a good work-out on this one CircleVision!

Don't get me wrong - this park is one of the most unique I have seen yet in RCT3, and I love it mate - but where are the coasters man?

The only one I can see has a mediocre layout - are you getting ready to construct some more, or is this an ambient park?

04-01-2005, 11:45 AM
Well, a park doesn't need a lot of coasters in order to be great :p

And I beleive a wise man once said:
"I build and have fun, this isn't a pissing contest"

Hehe, I looked all over your threads CV but I couldn't find the exact words you used =/ But that was such a good response I never forgot it :p

04-01-2005, 12:26 PM
the coaster looks amazing, can you post a vid please?

04-01-2005, 12:26 PM
Thanks Milkdud. :D:D:D:D:D

As most of you can tell, I really don't say a whole lot. I 'm not very good at putting my thoughts into words so I translate them into screenshots.
About attractions.....
Serpetine, one of three coasters, is quite extensive and exciting, you just can't see most of her. Additional attractions of Oceania include (yet un-named), 3 flumes, a water slide, a drop ride, 7 elevators, a tram, three spinners and a submarines voyage.
More shots later today!!!

04-01-2005, 12:39 PM
CV I think your park is unique, it is very diffrent from others. Base on more of a fantasy park than a realistic park. Great job CV.:alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien:

04-01-2005, 12:50 PM
I agree with AsTro, I think your park is great as it is. In my opinion, roller coasters don't make a park, the atmosphere and how the park makes you feel is what makes the park. But I know different people have different opinions, and some people only look for thrill in the motion or movement of a rollercoaster it seems. Honestly, that to me is not very entertaining, at least not compared to being overall entertained. When you effect more senses, that is what gets me. So to make a long reply even longer, I think your park is great, and I only wish I could experience it in real life!
Oh, and thanks for posting a reply using words, and no worries about keeping most of your thoughts to be displayed by screenshots, they speek quite loudly for you I think!

04-01-2005, 02:04 PM
Jet Scream Tower construction.
Another angle.

Holy shhhh....
I love that second shot! That new tower w/ the elevators and drop ride looks incredible! And the lighting! Woah! Keeps getting better and better! :D

04-01-2005, 03:19 PM
I love the way you use your terrain as scenery; a nice work-around that nasty lag. Your talent is showcased in the wonderful pictures that capture the best of the best talent on these forums.

1. How do you get that endless water in the backround ( if you don't mind telling us)I assume you highten the water to cover the backround?

2. How did you become the master of LIM coasters!

The only bad thing to come of you being in the beta is that you'll have to build with soaked in secrecy.

04-01-2005, 03:43 PM
1. How do you get that endless water in the backround ( if you don't mind telling us)I assume you highten the water to cover the backround?
What you do is, in an empty park, raise the terrain somewhere of your choice, then place the park inspector up there. Now select the fill water tool and click on the edge of the terrain that you raised. Viola.

04-01-2005, 04:41 PM
i really really like everything in youjr park, but i dont really like the coaster

04-02-2005, 08:15 AM

You need a Serpintine video.

04-02-2005, 10:45 AM
apparently you don't read. he LOST the file. how is he supposed to make a video is he doesn't have the file ;) *smart one*

04-02-2005, 10:49 AM
May sound like a long shot, but there is a programme which recovers lost files, due to formatting, accidental deleting, etc, heres the link:

I would try it, you may get lucky.

04-02-2005, 11:36 AM
Well, if he saved something OVER the Oceania file, then I doubt that proggie will work but it couldn't hurt to try! ;)

Total bummer Circle Vision :( I'm very sorry this had to happen to ya :(

04-02-2005, 01:13 PM
Here we go again.
The new Oceania main marina/entrance. One things for sure, I'm getting really good at manipulating the land!

Just to make sure you've tried everything...

Did you look for the bak-file from inside the game? The bak-files don't show there. You have to navigate to the folder manually outside the game with explorer. Then rename the bak-file to [SomeName].dat.

I believe is something like

"mydocuments/RCT3/Start New Scenarios".

If it's really gone, then that's terribly unlucky. I've always been able to recover when I saved over the wrong file by renaming the bak-file.

04-02-2005, 03:54 PM
Ronin is correct. There is always a .bak file the game creates automatically. If you didn't manually delete the .bak file then it is there. Go to my documents\rct3\Start new scenerio (if it was in scenerio editor) or \parks if it was in sandbox and like ronin said, if it's there rename it to .dat

04-02-2005, 07:37 PM
Either way, lost or not, absolutely AMAZING job! Hopefully you will be able to recreate everything from the original one... I have faith in you though :)

04-02-2005, 07:48 PM
great job exept u lost it. no fun. this time back it up if your not sure. All i have to say is wow, wow, wow *faints*

04-03-2005, 08:02 AM
So you make those big arches with the land?
If so how do tou do it thats awsome!

04-03-2005, 08:29 AM
CircleVision, do you have Windows XP? If so, do you have system restore enabled? That's how i got my lost save game back. However, it alters every saved thingy on your computer.

04-03-2005, 01:47 PM
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I tried everything and nothing worked. I am over it now. On with re-construction!!!!

04-03-2005, 02:12 PM
you amaze me

04-03-2005, 03:09 PM
Holy crap, you've done all that already!!!!

That sucks that you couldn;t get it back.

04-03-2005, 05:41 PM
Having to rebuild Oceania gave me the opportunity to change things I didn't like about the first version, the bridge is one of them.

looking awesome as always!

04-03-2005, 05:59 PM
Wow, great job! How did you form the terrain that way? It looks awesome!!!

Great job!!!

04-03-2005, 06:04 PM
Wow, you are quick, the park looks do different and better than the past!! I am glad you didnt give up and let this great park go to waste!! I really liek the way you express your ideas into RCT3, they blend in very well, I have the ideas, but I dont know how to put them into RCT!!

Do you plan on making a video?

04-03-2005, 08:50 PM
How about we put an early version up for download so we can have a backup on my computer this time? ;)

Oh, and it would be totally awesome if you get the coaster track on the bridge to be an actual coaster. Great job so far.

04-03-2005, 09:35 PM
I'm so sorry you had to loose the file, but I'm so glad you're going to do a reconstruction:D !

04-03-2005, 10:23 PM
Wow! Looks like theres some good coming out of this! I'm glad that now you have a chance to fix things you didn't quite like in the previous version. The new version is looking INCREDIBLE. Great job with the bridge using track ;) This is the best park every made! Besides Frightmare :p

04-04-2005, 09:17 AM

04-04-2005, 10:35 AM
WOAH!! THis version is so much better than the other, it looks so more, abstract, i think is the right word, I love the way your imagination works, I knwo i have already said it, but it is true, you have such an art! Let me guess, your job has something to do with computers and art?

Also, do you think you could help me on my park, after you have done yous, as I need plenty of ideas for my cartoon village section, which I am sure is no problem for someone, with your kind of talent!

04-04-2005, 03:14 PM
Holy shhhhh....!
This version is actually better than the first! More good came out of this than bad. :D

I don't know what it is, but something is very different about this version compared to the previous one. It's almost like a whole new park. Something about it gives it a whole new atmosphere.

I like how you've taken some rainy shots too! Nice touch! ;):up::up:

04-04-2005, 03:20 PM
Wow! tHats amazing circleVison! Great job! I really like how you took some of the shots in the rain, it really shows the "mood" of this park. But then again, in the day shots, it looks great too! So great job circleVision! Keep up this great work!

04-04-2005, 03:54 PM
your incredible
i am in awe

04-04-2005, 04:32 PM
Guys haven't you noticed a pattern with his last few parks? He always ''looses''(j/k) the park save! I think he does the first one as a sort of practice park then comes back with an even stronger park. Thats a good strategy.

04-04-2005, 07:05 PM
^LOL. I really did loose the original Oceania. But, I will agree......
the second version is coming out better. I am glad everyone is enjoying the pictures. More a lil' later.

04-04-2005, 07:59 PM
You will HAVE to make a download of this park once you are finished.

04-04-2005, 09:56 PM
this is an original and wonderful project!!! You're the master lander of rct3! I want a download link of the park when is complete! I'm countin' on you!

04-04-2005, 10:47 PM
WOW!

04-05-2005, 07:17 AM
 WOW:eek:

I go away for a few days and come back to find you've completely rebuilt the park and made it better than ever!

I really love the new bridge

04-05-2005, 12:56 PM
When can I make reservations to take my family!!!!

04-05-2005, 12:57 PM
I love the last shot! All the little details you continue to add have not gone unnoticed. As before, looks great.

04-06-2005, 05:06 AM
One question, how laggy is your park while you are building all this?

So far your park looks pretty insane....

04-06-2005, 06:30 AM

Too good !!

04-06-2005, 10:15 AM

04-06-2005, 10:29 AM
i think something someone once said about my park is apropriate here

You're remaking the whole thing??

Since I have used a ton of land as architectural elements, scenery usage is kept down. In return, I get great performance. This park is really small too.

04-06-2005, 11:36 AM
Gonna put it up for download yet? :)

04-06-2005, 01:14 PM
Whoa, respect to you for restarting from scratch CV, when that happens to me I get really disheartened and it's the hardest thing to accept and move on from. But boy, have you moved on! This version is bigger and better than the previous one, and frequently had me gasping out loud (gol? It'll never catch on...).

I really love it how you always manage to find something new to do with this game. Who needs Soaked? Just use a bit of imagination...

circleVision has shown us the way once again.

04-06-2005, 03:00 PM
That last shot took my breat away! :D

04-06-2005, 03:16 PM
HOLY SH**!!! That is some of the best work I have seen in RCT3. Brilliant idea for keeping the scenery items to a minimum. Now if you can only put up a tutorial on how to make buildings like that for the archy deprived people like myself ;) .

04-06-2005, 05:16 PM
This park is absolutely beautiful. Its parks like this that gives me the inspiration to start up RCT and start making my own creations. Iím really looking forward to the next bunch of pictures.

04-06-2005, 06:16 PM
nice CV

04-06-2005, 06:49 PM
the new one is even better than before.
you are unbelivable

Good evening all. Here is a small update.

04-08-2005, 03:04 AM
Meh. I could do better than that anyway :downcast:

04-08-2005, 06:58 AM
good job!:)

04-08-2005, 07:10 AM
I LOVE the path walls around the skysling how they flare out. Gives such a great effect, almost liked a satallite dish. Looking GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!

04-08-2005, 09:02 AM
you are the best park designer. you could pass as a profesional

04-08-2005, 12:05 PM
Man, what a huge roof! It must have taken you forever to build, even with your spiffy 'path-as-roof' technique. The tall square pathes produce a great 'roman columns' kinda look to those areas. I also loved the tower, using the coaster bits that way gives a very unique look. Now if you teamed up with Satriales so there were some spectacular lights shooting up inside the tower sections... mmmm... :)

04-08-2005, 04:06 PM
 well theres some eye candy for ya
excelent work dude

04-10-2005, 01:11 PM
Very cool. Now it just needs some more roller coasters.

04-10-2005, 01:22 PM
so incredable, you are a master, no doubt!!!!!!!!

04-10-2005, 03:49 PM
Ive been watching your progress on this for a while now and alls I can say is WOW. I almost had a heart attack when you said you lost the park and had to start from scratch, but you have done an exellent job remaking it and now its better than the old one!

04-11-2005, 04:41 AM
Bah! I built better when i was using lego...

seriously though, that is the most realistic (bar the futuristic setting) park i've seen on these boards. I just love it all, i bet the tram thingies have an amazing view.

Tell us... what rides are there in the park so far?

04-11-2005, 05:20 AM
This park is just amazing! I was so worried when you said you had lost it, thinking you wouldn't restart it, but you did, and in record time! :noob:

I find this park isn't just that, it's pure art!

What I'm wondering is though, when you're done with it, will you put it up for download for us to learn from it? Or will we need to keep drooling at your sceenshots? :D

04-11-2005, 06:26 PM
Hey Great job this is definetly the best RCT3 park I have ever seen. This deserves to be put in a hall of fame. If your planning on making a video of this park and you dont have a web host and you dont want to put it on rapidshare, ill host it on my web server for you so it will have no adds or loading times and since I get 75 gigs of data transfer it wont run out and you won't have to wory about compressing or lossing quality to lower the file size.

Keep up the great work!
Ryan :)

Simply amazing! Just beautiful circleVision. How you shape the land like that is just incredible, I don't even know how to round it off like that! Great job!

GAWD I love this thread!!! Nice to see how well the "second version" is going!!! It's to late in the night for me to just repeat all that's been said, but the emotions are DEFINATELY the same...!!! (What you're doing with terrain has actually given me an idea so far as underground scenery is concerned.... I'll have to work on it. ;) )

Sorry I haven't posted too much, but I DO check this thread almost every day! I've learned a lot watching what you're doing.... Keep it up!!!!

and most of all, Have FUN!!! <high five>

BTW.... BEAUTIFUL work!!! I LOVE what you've been doing with the terrain as scenery... as do we all...!!! Look around the threads... Your work here has ALREADY inspired many!!!

CV, I love you......I mean your park! :haha:

No seriously, I know I've said this so many times, but YOU ROCK! :D:up:

I don't think I want to know how long that huge path canopy must have taken to place....:p

All I can say is keep on keeping on, your work is 'out of this world!'

I don't know, it looks pretty dumb. Very blan and boring. I don't see what all the hype is about.

04-12-2005, 09:09 PM
OMG, I'm just kidding. This is one if (if not the) most beautiful parks I've seen. Keep up the great work!

Exactly what I was thinking. Any plans on releasing some kind of tutorial? What you've done with the land alone is amazing.

Those shots look like something taken from Soaked! with the new buildings.
I don't know what else to say that everybody else hasn't already. You know your good, you don't need to hear that from me.

Great work!

BTW, these would make beautiful wallpapers.

Good evening everyone. Here are some more shots. I finally have a day off so there should be a couple of good updates tomorrow. Thanks again for all the compliments. =8-D

Man CV, that is just beyond - we're going to run out of words soon - we'll have to make up new ones which far exceed "brilliant" "a masterpiece" "amazing" and on.

this looks 10x better then the first attempt awesome :D

I wonder what a peep think about this park?

1. Wow this park is great!

2. Is this park for giants?

3. Where is Roller coaster 1, oh wait it is all the way up there!

4. This is sweet a park.

5. Are we in the future?

04-13-2005, 01:49 PM
CV - this is far better than the last attempt that you lost. However much I'd like to believe that if you recreated this park for a 3rd time it would be even better (as impossible as that seems) - I can't bear to witness all this wonderful work go bye-bye. It's just not humane!

Please let this serve as a (friendly) reminder to back up this park's dat file, NOW. :)

^Thankyou corpkid. I have learned my lesson and have created a back up. On with the update.
We have Serpentine at the bottom of the screen, with SkySkraper
in the upper right hand side of the shot and Jet Scream sitting high above all.

That's a hell of a lot of shaped terrain! My gosh it must have taken ages to get right! Looks utterly amazing!

Lot's of people are begging for a video circle vision! Are you even considering it or is it a simple no? A lot of us would really like to know! ;) It would stop the begging too :p
