I created dozens of parks and want to share them starting with A disney theme park which is probably complete unless soaked has something i can update it with. Thanks for the positive comments so far. I finally put the pics out there larger so enjoy! Remember any comments suggestions are welcome and any pics you want to see i'll find.

Thanks disguise for the picture informatiom and everyone for imageshack.

Finally! I'm so happy sombody finally made this!:D Great job and keep up the great job!

03-30-2005, 03:32 PM

03-30-2005, 04:38 PM
post a larger pic of the last

looks amazing.

Just shows how usful custom objects will be (tower of terror) in helping FPS.............

03-30-2005, 05:14 PM
If u want big pic use image shack

Oh and great work looks awsome

03-30-2005, 07:09 PM
Nice Job!:D I was there just recently. Kinda makes me feel I'm there again! Anyways, Lookin' Good!

03-30-2005, 09:01 PM
yeah, use image shack and than you can still set up thumbnails in the thread to lead to enlarged pics.

a while i ago i tried to recreate californing screaming but just coulding do it accurately because of the restrictions when you are sending a track diagonally as opposed to north south or east west, how did you fix that.

03-30-2005, 11:55 PM
California Screaming was weird. The launch is actually diagonal on the real ride so i needed to somehow make it straight by wrapping it around. I built it on a different map and moved it into this one. I'm thinking of remaking it because the station and launch aren't lined up well to where i'm satisfied. I'll post some picks of what i'm talking about, I didn't really want to show how shabby a job i did on the station but i will anyway because it was worth it to make the track real.
If you can understand what i'm saying i hope i ansewered your question.

03-31-2005, 03:21 PM
i definately understand what you are talking about because i had the same problem when trying to make mine, its really tough, i had the same problem when trying to recreate silver bullet at Knotts Berry Farm, you just cant do what you need on the diagonal which is just necessary

03-31-2005, 10:00 PM
Here are a few picks of screaming,

This is just a overview

Now this one prooves how i did screaming. See how the station isn't at all detailed like everything else and instead of going straight and out the track circles around. Also see how close the supports and coaster are to the small sidewalk, this is probably the only inaccurate thing in the park.

This shows after the launch how instead of going straight down like the real one does it goes left and down to make it so the track fits with the rest, my way of compensating for the diagonal launch. plus all the other stuff.

Thanks for the positive comments so far. And remember if you want to see any pic i can probably get it.

03-31-2005, 10:19 PM
These look awesome. :) Post some larger pictures so we can see the details.

03-31-2005, 10:33 PM
can you uploads in image shack and use the thumbnail link, then we can see them much larger, there just a little hard to see this way

04-01-2005, 01:05 AM
:weird: Cool . . . I think. :weird:

I tried using image shack but the pictures are to big in file size and it won't let me load them, any suggestions?

Try photobucket.com. They are a good source and will automatically resize images if they are too big. :)

04-01-2005, 07:08 PM
I used photo Bucket for those images is there a way to make them larger? Or any suggestions on image shack?

They are all bitmap. Open them in Paint and save them as jpeg. THEN try to upload them.

04-03-2005, 08:48 PM
I have the pictures out now,

04-03-2005, 08:59 PM
Much awesomer! Memories are all comping back to me. Great job.

04-04-2005, 10:49 AM
How is it bad?

04-04-2005, 01:21 PM
I loev your screamin. It is the most realistic version of Screamin! I have ever seen on these forums for RCT3 and also RCT1&2. Great Job.

04-04-2005, 03:05 PM
Do you have a link to the pics at imageshack? Looks great so far. Tower needs a just a little work!:D

04-04-2005, 04:37 PM
what i would do is register at imageshack, just requires an email address, resize your images in paint by about 35 percent, save them. with image shack once your registered you'll have an image panel (remember to add the site to your favorites once you register) in the image panel, it will show any images you uploaded, including links, one link is a labeled thumbnail link for forums, put that in your post and you will have a thumbnail that will lead to imageshack for a full size image.

04-04-2005, 05:00 PM
I have pics that I want to put on the posts but I can't find the imageshack website. Could someone give me that website? Thanks!

WOW! Love it. Looks almost IDENTICLE! Anywayys dont get how that guy can say it looked horrible it looks BRILLIANT!

04-08-2005, 06:03 PM
I got all of em out there now and i'm just gonna let this thread be unless someone wants more pics of something.

04-08-2005, 07:42 PM
When do u think the park will be ready for download!?

09-21-2005, 10:35 PM
I'm so sorry for letting this thread go and finally looking at it to see a response that i missed. My ansewer is i would make it available for download if i knew how.
As for the park itself i havent worked on it much in the last 5 months. I'll probably go back and redo most of it if i'm going to be able to make it downloadable. That way it'll be perfect.
I also revived this thread because some people didn't get a chance to see my park and since people like Disney Parks this one can go along with em.
I'll get new pictures out soon of updated parts to the park.
Thanks for your patience

Also i'm pretty mad because i can't change the name from updated so long ago.

09-21-2005, 11:28 PM
there is a rule against bringing threads over 30 days old back......i would talk to the mods if you think it's really needed to become alive..... but great park!!! good job!!

09-22-2005, 10:12 AM
Just to say
I might just have to redo all the pictures by just copying em and pasting em. I'd not delete this one because of all the good comments but then i won't have that old name on there

Nice park! Only thing I'm sorta not sure about is the scenery. Screamin could use some custom scenery for the Mickey Mouse face and the sort of blue walls covering some of the ride should be smoother. If you could find someone who would dedicate the time to make some of the scenery, that'd be great. Some other ideas for custom scenery is the backdrop picture in Hollywood Pictures Backlot, more scenery for Soarin, Disney Animation props, etc. Otherwise this park looks real cool!

Why double post and bring up an old thread? Not a good way to start

01-23-2006, 02:09 AM
Ah sry.. My Internet Explorer messed up when I pushed the back button, then I pushed the forward button and somehow it posted my post twice for some reason. Anyways, don't respond to this message and keep this forum on topic.

01-23-2006, 01:01 PM
i'm sorry to say this, but this is a really innaccurate recreation. Its just lacking detail and the stuff that makes it a recreation. you can probably make this alot better if you just started over and reapllied yourself.

I'm just saying that you should work on one area for longer, and really take your time to make things accurate.

What he said

If you really want this to be accurate you should do a little more research

Only trying to help.

01-23-2006, 05:42 PM
 Well, I commend the maker for attempting California Adventure. First off, I believe it's a much harder park to re-create than Disneyland. There are so many custom sceneries for Disneyland but you tried to work with what the game gave you and it looks idenifiable. I really love the peak of your Grizzly Mountain, looks very accurate.

01-23-2006, 07:14 PM
Yeah. I do thank the dude for recreating DCA. BUT!! If any of you people visiting this forum would help out by making a lot of custom scenery it'd be great. AennilQ made some great points. The rides are OK but they could be EXCELLENT if you were to have all of the scenery needed to bring out the sort of magical atmosphere Disney has in all of its parks.

01-23-2006, 07:30 PM
On a side note, I like your Disney Quotes greenlink009!

well, there are alot of ways that he can improve on what he has done, by using the custom scenery available. For instance, lets take the last drop of grizzly. First, he should make it proportionate to the ride. Second, he should get the track layout right. -only 1 turn. He should then sink the rapids down into the ground, to the lip. Line the edges with marnetmar's rocks, and various bushes and trees. Make a small body of water as close to the inside of the turn as pssible.- Hard to do with rct3, i know. The put the sinking ship/ whale entrance to a pool complex slightly below ground. They will shoot up water. Finally, place scenery items around. There you go. A few simple steps make this 100x better.

01-25-2006, 05:11 PM
I thought about building a DCA but then I stopped because I didn't want to do multiple projects at once. Here is how my Soarin building looked. It was far from done and needed more scenery but it is just to give you an idea of the what you can do with no custom scenery.

http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/586/shot00007gv.th.png (http://img141.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00007gv.png)

01-25-2006, 09:44 PM
Wow. Pretty accurate. But would have the Disney feeling if it had more scenery (especially custom). Man. I hope I'm not annoying anyone by repeating myself a lot.

01-25-2006, 11:11 PM
http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/179/menuitem0qv.gif I don't like parks with custom scenery. It really is tiring downloading
custom scenery just to play a park all the time. http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/157/icon186vt.gif

this park was also done way before custom scenery. Possibly even before Soaked. Give the guy a break. I dont see any of you trying... (except DBFan)

01-25-2006, 11:36 PM
wow. ive never seen dca that packed lol. That grizzly peak is brillaint btw. I would recommend a little more detail and better graphics card lol.

01-26-2006, 09:27 AM
I checked this and for some reason it had about 20 new posts. Ya i made this park before soaked came out. So i had very limited stuff, and still do. I don't believe in using custom scenery, theres always a way around doing stuff in the game anyway. I'll post later on this and maybe start the park back up. I could easily make it better, or make it downloadable so anyone who feels like fixing it can.

01-26-2006, 07:16 PM
that photo is from dca's preview day, before it opened, i believe. And no, i'm not trying right now, because I don't have rct3 at my disposal. i am thinking about doing it, though.

01-27-2006, 12:08 AM
"I don't believe in using custom scenery, theres always a way around doing stuff in the game anyway."

That's like saying you don't believe in modern medicine and would prefer medieval techniques of herbs and bloodletting.

"I could easily make it better, or make it downloadable so anyone who feels like fixing it can.

Truly the spirit of DCA there. That must have been what Barry Braverman said about the park (without the downloadable part).

01-27-2006, 02:10 AM
That's like saying you don't believe in modern medicine and would prefer medieval techniques of herbs and bloodletting.
Theres another saying. It's a video game that can apply to this in some ways. its "Cheat codes are for video gamers who don't want to play the real video game". Probably the same with custom scenery. It does come in handy sometimes though.

Truly the spirit of DCA there. That must have been what Barry Braverman said about the park (without the downloadable part).

01-28-2006, 07:21 PM
Thanks K_peek,
Ya, i just dont like to hack games, i've tried it before for other games and it doesn't work to well for me. I prefer to just manipulate the game however i can. You can basically do anything with it, including dark scenery without custom, i can tell you how if youd like. So, what should i do. Make it downloadable or start on it again?

01-30-2006, 12:40 AM
I've never been much of a fan of Califoria Adventure, nor disneyland really, but if ur at the park you mine as well have fun right?

Well, anyways, great work, and good luck with the rest.

01-30-2006, 01:09 AM
You really need to use custom scenery if you want this recreation to look accurate. Atleast get marnmetmar's leftoverz for the rapids.

01-31-2006, 08:57 AM
^- what he said, and, you should make your park in sandbox mode, or scenario editor, that way you don't have to worry about money.

02-01-2006, 01:15 AM
Wait... He's not using sandbox mode?
