Well throw out the Prima Guide!!!

You can win this won pretty easily. Yes you need to hire mechanics and janitors from the beginning so put the game on pause and hire a paired set at the entrance of every ride, and a few more janitors at stretches of particularly gross pathways.

Fix the Avenger rollercoaster. You can also charge about 4 pounds (I'm in the USA but in honor of Chris Sawyer I have always run the RCT games on the UK scale.) Put a toilet in, fix some of the pathways to connect them shorter then the big long walks that the park starts with, and start it up. I charged 20 for an entrance fee, and later on this paid off handsomely. When you advance to Entrepreneur you will get a cash infusion and you may want to payoff your loan at that time. With your park rating going up, more Peeps come to the park so that entrance fee will bring in revenue as will a positive cash flow once you no longer need such a large staff.

Before Joe arrives, the mechanics will have fixed all the rides and you can get rid of most of them. The vomit and litter will still be around so you have to maintain the janitors for a little longer. When the litter and vomit reaches a reasonable level (you only suffer a few negatvies points to park rating because of it) that is the time to retrench your staff expenses and fire lots of Janitors untiil you maintain about 3 of them. You can train the janitors and mechanics so you do not have to worry about their happiness also and their quitting on you. You do not need to Waypoint Joe in this scenario. Just sit back and let him go.

Remember this thread is all about winning without destroying the park, and as you can see from the pictures not much but brush and some fences was removed. As rides become available you can add them, and you will need to in order to get a 1000 monthly income.

In the latter game, opening up the park management screen and managing ride weekly profitability is a healthly way to win. If everything is in the black you should do just fine. Rides with greater queue lengths can have their fees boosted up also. Rides with no queue lines should have their ride fees reduced until Peeps start riding. Good Luck

I discovered something about this park that makes you fail if you don't notice it. Or at least I did. There is a raised pathway next to the castle where the middle has a load of trees and stuff. The base of this is the leafy path, which is covered in L+V I deleted a few bushes so I could get one section of real path down to it, to allow the cleaners to clear it. that got rid of my -172 for L+V.

You could always just pop a janitor on the wall section also.

You know, I think I deleted those path squares as they made no sense to me.

So how exactly do you fix the rollercoaster? I was fine til I got to the part where it turns.

I think you have to take away some pieces and put in some new pieces... it has been a long time...

This had me struggling - Go to the Construction mode on the Coaster and click on one of the broken areas of track - Now DO NOT TRY and fit a new piece as it will NEVER WORK!

Instead, Start clicking the Highlighted track choices and watch closely - The track pieces that appear to fill teh gaps will either be RED (No Good!), BLUE (Useable - BUT STILL WRONG) or White (Aha!) - The Moment you get a WHITE Piece... CLICK AND ADD IT! And Thats one piece rerpaired.

This may also mean tweaking the "Banking" on areas of track... Etc but you will only get a white piece when you have the PERFECT piece!
