I've decided to make a mini-park version of the western section of Adrenaland Valley. I've taken a few coasters and building and arranged things a little closer and landscaped around them. As you can see, the train runs around and through the canyon.
Here's the video from the Adrenaland Valley thread from Roaring Canyon. You can make out some of the train tracks that run over the first drop.

Here are some pics also:

I've added more buildings, paths and scenery, as well as a few coasters. So check back tonight or tomorrow for more!

06-06-2005, 11:15 AM
Awesome! This is great for those like me who don't have the top of the line computers!

06-07-2005, 05:45 PM
Thanks KoasterKid23,
Not much on the way of comments here.
Soooo, here's a couple more pics to wet yer whistle.
I've been working on surrounding the park with canyon walls and adding a few more coasters. I've got some ideas I hope work.
I can't wait to be able to make real tunnels!!!
Take a look.

This is one of two train stations that run around the park. This one lets you off near Thunderbird, an LIM launched coaster like Mr. Freeze (see Adrenaland Valley) and some other stuff.

Here's another shot of High Noon (I know - I'm getting sick of seeing too many shots of this too). You can make out railroad tracks just under the second hill at the top of the page. I still have a lot of trees and landscaping to add here.

06-07-2005, 06:05 PM
Wow, very impressive, I love that train station you have, VERY realistic:D
Nice start

06-07-2005, 11:30 PM
Alright, here ya'll go. I gotcha the biggest update of them there all.

Here's the rest of the park so far. You can see the mine train in the middle, as well as the train that encircles the park.

Let me know your thoughts!!!
Thanks again.

06-08-2005, 11:58 AM
Wow! Nicely done! That Thunderbird station building reminds me of Mexico. I really like it. Can't wait to see more.

06-08-2005, 12:20 PM
Thanks a bunch. I'm kind of going for the Pueblo Indian look that's found in the state of New Mexico by the Pueblo or Anasazi native Americans. Granted, the teepee's don't really fit in, but it makes it look nice in the game. Look for more later this week - if I get time on the computer.

06-08-2005, 12:37 PM
Im loving the theming in this park, top notch  The layouts are awsome aswell lol, expecially that LIM one, that woodie looks fun to :D expecially that drop,

keep up the good work ;)

06-09-2005, 08:39 AM
Not much going on right now, but here's a few more shots.
Can't get back on the game until the wife is done with Ebay.
Here you go:

As you can see here, I'm still working on the front entry railroad station, as well as the station for High Noon.

Here's a nice shot inside the yet-to-be-named western "shopping" district.

Here's a nice shot of the station to the mine train. You can just make out the cars of Thunderbird in the background as it approaches the inversion.

I would love some more input, so don't be shy.

06-12-2005, 03:39 AM
Does this coaster look..."corny" here. I'm not sure it works, even if I change color's, etc?
Once soaked comes out, I can create tunnels, so I've already set it up that way.
What do you think?

06-12-2005, 04:54 AM
It looks good! and your park is very well done! good work!

06-14-2005, 09:00 PM
Hey everybody,
I've been working on the park and have some new pictures and a video coming.
This is a view of the main street area as you come in the park.

Looking back toward the entry from near the carousel. Notice that the entry train station roof isn't completed yet. I'm working on that.

Here's an overview of Bear Creek Mining Company. The next video will feature this coaster. The scenery around the coaster isn't done; I still have to add a building over some of the lift hills and trees and such.

This is station to BCMC at night. Notice High Noon coaster in the background.

PLEASE give me your thoughts, ideas or suggestions.

06-17-2005, 10:38 AM
Here's some more construction shots.
I've added a mine shaft ride.

And check out the video please!!!

06-17-2005, 10:59 AM
wow ... nice park so far. i like it. the landscaping is also awesome. u got me impressed.

06-21-2005, 08:14 AM
Thanks Soleil!
Here's a couple more pics. The entry train station is done and I've added some more rides and scenery.
Check out these two pictures and let me know what you think.

06-21-2005, 09:00 AM
Pretty good western theming... not bad!

06-27-2005, 08:39 AM
Here's the finished High Noon station and train tracks with a little "splash zone" before it enters a tunnel.

And I changed up a small part of the track of Bear Creek Mining Company to get riders a little wet also.

Keep those comments coming!
Don't you love Soaked!?

06-27-2005, 09:03 AM
Amazing park you got there. The mine train looks even better with the waterfall and tunnle. Any chance on gettin a post soaked vid of it? One suggestion though, on then merry-goround or whatever is in the green roof and metal supports, try changing the colors to make it fit in with the rest of the park.

06-27-2005, 10:12 AM
Nice park. I really like the added Waterfall. Kind of breaks up the look of the dry desert. Gives it a Oasis sort of look. Very nice.

About the Coaster you asked if it looked corny.... its doesn't look corney, but it kind of seems out of place. Almost like Cedar point's coasters... that look like your out of space, so you will just put one over top of another....kinda look. But that migh just be me. Still, great looking park. :D

06-27-2005, 10:25 AM
Thanks so much! I really love your stuff and I do value your opinion.
I agree about the waterfalls. Brings a little coolness to what could be a hot place. I added some misters as well to kind of "puff up" the waterfall mist. I still have a TON more trees and bushes to add, so it won't look soooo desolate.
I really want an open look to the carousel, but not sure how to acheive it. I did change the colors to the dark wood, but not sure if changing the roof color would be sufficient enough. I think getting ride of the towers might make it a little too bland. Any ideas? Have you seen any others in threads I could take a look at?
I might make a video this week, but doubt it. It takes soooo long to do, add music, edit, etc. while I could be building.
Check out Mining Company video and imagine a tunnel where the tracks go under the main lift hills. I've also been adding tunnels at Thunderbird, but I'm not done with the scenery.
I've have more pics added this week, and maybe a video or two posted this coming weekend.
Thanks again!

Edit: OMG!!!! I looked at your home theater!!!! It's awesome. I knew those IT guys could do stuff like that, but not without architects like me. ;) Yeah, yours is better than the one at EPCOT. Do the lights twinkle?

06-28-2005, 08:56 AM
Okay, I went ahead and did a new roof structure for the carousel.
What do you think?
It has the same architectural spires and colors of the entry train station, so it ties it in nicely.
Heres a new waterfall by the backside of High Noon and Bear Creek Mining Co.

Check out what happened here!!! Some graphics card mishap. But it looks cool!

I'll try to post some more this week.

06-28-2005, 09:09 AM
I really like the addition of the water falls near the High Noon Station, and the additional walls and roof to the tunnel entrance is excellent.

Question, do the waterfalls have a "roar" to them, or at least water splashing sound effects, or are they silent eye candy?

06-28-2005, 09:45 AM
Thanks! Glad you noticed the tunnel entrances.
It's actually a quite roar with a foamy splash. Pretty cool, huh?
I added misters at the bottom of the falls to "puff up" the effect.

06-28-2005, 10:15 AM
Outlaw and Sheriff are really cool coasters! Good job!

06-28-2005, 11:22 AM
looks brilliant! The detail level is great! 10 times better than what I could ever do!

There seems to be a problem with your graphics card yeah, might wanna have someone take a look at that!

Keep up the good work!

06-29-2005, 10:16 AM
Well, it's not actually a problem. I first let the game autodetect and set my settings, but I didn't like it. So I changed it to the Balanced setting. Every now and then I get something like that. I just change resolution and it goes back to normal.
My next goal is a log flume at the end of the old west shopping district, opposite the wagon wheel.

06-30-2005, 10:18 AM
Here's the latest.
I've added the lift hill/mining house to the top of Bear Creek Mining Company. I still have some trees and other scenery to add, so I'm not done yet.

I might do another video this weekend, but I'm really busy. Check out the other two if you haven't seen them yet.
Thanks for all your input!!!

06-30-2005, 10:36 AM
Hey I like the simulated adobe architecture :)

Looks like you have some very nice western style buildings going there as well. I love it! Don't you wish there were a few more wall pieces for the western scenery? I gripe about this all the time. I just need to learn how to make them but there is so little time and I am still hooked on building parks rather than trying to learn to make scenery :|

Anyhow I love it, looks fun even if it is arid ;)

Did I see you mention in a previous thread that you had architecture experience?

06-30-2005, 10:55 AM
Thanks! I TOTALLY wish there were more peices. Especially roof and door. And some walls with vertical clap boards instead of horizontal boards.
Oh well. We'll just have to deal with it. I don't have time to spend making my own. Shoot, I barely have time to do videos instead of build.
Yeah, I work for an architecture firm in Dallas. I was doing restaurants (Maggiano's, Macaroni Grill, Keg Steakhouse, Corner Bakery, Red Robin Burgers, Rockfish Seafood Grill, Taco Cabana)for about 9 years and then banks (Bank of America), now I'm doing shopping centers.

07-03-2005, 11:30 AM
Here's some photos of the log flume ride I'm doing. It's not done, but this shows the basic layout. I still have to add some station stuff and work out some of the kinks in the tunnels. I'm not really thrilled with it, so let me know your thoughts.

You can see here the entrance goes through the waterfall.

And it goes over the edge of the falls too.

Here's a view from the ride looking up at the entry.

07-03-2005, 11:46 AM
all those pics make me wanna download your park;)

07-03-2005, 11:52 AM
I think you have mastered the waterfall tool! Mine never look like that. I like the new merry go round structure better than before. I fits right in with the rest of the park. Can't wait to download this park.

07-03-2005, 12:09 PM
Great work larry241! I love what you do with the waterfall tool! Everthing`s very realistic and in a perfect western atmosphere. I especially like that mexican-style coaster station!

07-03-2005, 12:42 PM
Thanks guys!!!
Hey, I made page 2!
Can't wait to work on this some more. I've got tons to do, but I'll be out of town for a day.
I've started more of the flume ride and shops at the Adobe area.
More to come later.

07-03-2005, 01:19 PM
That is one pretty impressive looking park

07-04-2005, 11:19 PM
Thanks for all the comments. I've got an update on the log flume, but I need some help. I can't think of a name. I'm not into corny names, but I would love some suggestions. Problem is, it's in a mining area - and they don't use logs to mine, and it's certainly not a wooded area - so you can't use some type of tree logging name. Ugh. I knew I should have done a mine car coaster.
Maybe I can find some space for one.
Here's some pics.

Also, the front area around the carousel needs...something. I've tried some rides next to it, but they kind of look out of place. And I've already got tons of shops.
Any ideas?

Oh, keep in mind that I'm constantly working on land colors and tree/scenery locations, so nothing is final.
Well, thanks again to all for the fine comments. Look forward to hearing from you!

07-05-2005, 01:23 PM
How about in that empty area you just do like a cactus garden or just little trails. Maybe add a tunnel to have people walk through, maybe a little waterfall with a picture spot. Those could work. I LOVE YOU PARK! You have done an excellent job!

Keep it up!

07-05-2005, 04:20 PM
Wow! This park is glorious! Especially all the buildings and coaster stations! Thier AWESOME! There's too much detail in this park to be more specific, so I'm just going to have to say the entire park in general is gorgous. Great job!

07-06-2005, 10:31 AM
Well, I found a place for another ride. I still have to clean it up a bit and maybe add some more scenery. Notice how the entry goes through the rock.

And I STILL need a name for the log flume ride. Any help?

07-06-2005, 10:40 AM
This park just keep getting better. It is amzing all the little details you have. The waterfall of the bridge with the roof blew me away. Real eye candy! As for the log ride, How about..I have nothing what is the theme of it where does it run through? And the surroundings. I usally pick a name before I build it and theme around the name. Be creative.

07-06-2005, 11:04 AM
Yeah, I normally pick a name first too. I wasn't really thinking. I just thought it would look good. Take a look above for picks. It's kind of a mining area. It's not a logging town, so a name with "log" or "logging" seems stupid.
...how about...
Rockslide Mill or Prospector Falls or something else.

07-06-2005, 12:21 PM
Rockslide mill would be my pick.

07-06-2005, 06:36 PM
Okay - vote for your favorite:
Rockslide Mill
Prospector Falls
Jagged Mesa Sawmill
Dusty Falls Sawmill
Mesa Falls Mill

Other suggestions may be reviewed.
First one to get to 5 wins.

07-06-2005, 06:39 PM
Roaring Canyon Falls

Roaring Canyon Mill

Saw Mill Falls

I Do Like Mesa Though.

No Matter what the park still looks good

07-06-2005, 06:42 PM
I know that "duh" would be in order and I feel foolish for not really thinking of it.
But I wasn't sure I liked that to be the name of the canyons all together, or just the name of the park, or what. I mean, I've got Bear Creek Mining Company, but I'm not quite liking that name either. I might combine or do something for both.
Thanks for the suggestion!!!

07-06-2005, 06:43 PM
i like Dusty Falls Mills.:D

07-07-2005, 09:47 AM
Well, thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm starting to get partial to Jagged Mesa Sawmill.
Here's another pic of the entry area. I'm still trying to think of what do on either side of the carousel. Maybe some kind of dock or boardwalk. I might even get rid of the small triangle of land between the mine ride and carousel and make a row boat ride with a dock station.

Thanks again and keep those name suggestions coming!

07-07-2005, 04:24 PM
Thought you all would like to see some overall pics.
You can see here that I've started a second Adobe complex in the back section. I still have room for more rides at the back there. You can also see a plume of rising smoke above the steakhouse. Mmmmm...I can smell the steaks now. http://img241.echo.cx/img241/1076/overall62ls.jpg

Once you scan the pics, let me know if there's anything particular you want to see more of.

07-10-2005, 10:22 AM
Hi all - I've started working on filling in the spaces next to the carousel. I've added another building with some shops and then added a dodgems ride between the High Noon tracks. I'll be adding a building around the ride, so here's what it looks like now. I've added a small boardwalk to the back and the other side of the carousel will host a row boat ride. I actually built it already, as you can see from the ride queue, but when I tried to modify land at other places, I couldn't modify the water/waterfalls. I'll add it back later and put some sort of structure around it as well.

Also, thank you to Disneyland255 and RCTfreekindeed for the only name suggestions. I appreciate the help.
Finally, does anyone have a small fountain mix I can dowload? I'm looking for a 3x3 size. I tried making one - I suck and it was way too frustrating right now. I've got about two weeks to finish this park. My son comes home from Vegas and will want the pc for Warcraft.
See ya!!!!

CK the Fat
07-10-2005, 10:37 AM
Very well done; not overly crowded but not bare anywhere as well. I like the ride scenery like that waterfalls and terrain and all.

07-10-2005, 11:04 AM
Thanks CK! I appreciate the kind words. I downloaded your videos this morning but won't have a chance to look until later.
I'm off to Chuck E. Cheese with my daughter!
See ya!

07-10-2005, 11:17 AM
i love your park!

07-11-2005, 11:35 AM
I finished up the boat dock and some other stuff last night. He's what I got. What do you think?
Notice here that I also have some jumping fountains for the kids and I've changed up some of the architecture on the front buildings.

I love the M Brookes cheat!

Now I just need a name. Ha!

07-11-2005, 11:43 AM
This park just keeps getting better. I love the dock station but why dont you just let the bowts go whereever. Not matter what I think this is amazing!

07-11-2005, 11:49 AM
Thanks Hillbilly. Yeah, I know, I just wasn't sure if it had all the same problems from RCT2 with peeps getting lost or stuck and not coming back. I'll probably get rid of the track anyway.
PS - love your new avatar

07-11-2005, 12:00 PM
Absolutely beautiful!
I thought you first said this was going to be a small park! This park is perfect. Great job… all the way down to the way you placed your tunnels (they look smooth and not blocky). Your structures are built well and really fit in to the surrounding environment.

07-11-2005, 12:05 PM
the dock is most excellent!

your whole paprk has such a nice atmosphere ... i wanna be there!

one last thing - as hillibilly said ... remove those boat-tracks;) imho they ruin the whole "waterride-thingy" ... i never use them, but it's your decision:D

07-11-2005, 03:16 PM
I like a lot your style! Very well done!

07-11-2005, 04:01 PM
BCMC is a coaster from rct2 isn't it? from one of the six flags parks.

Anyway your park is amazing me likey sooo much I WANT A DOWNLOAD NOW! Lol.

07-11-2005, 04:07 PM
Hi guys, thanks for all the comments. Its always nice to know your stuff is appreciated.
Good eye Froggee. It's based on that one. Like the lift hill and cross under. It took tons of work to redo for RCT 3 and for my scenery. I've added two break stations, timed it for 3 trains to work right without stalling on the lift hills, modified track, etc. I really liked the original idea and thought it would be great for a mining themed park.
See you!
Pictures of Jail Break! (dodgems) ride coming later!

07-11-2005, 11:37 PM
Here's Jail Break! I've also remodeled the entry area to High Noon as well as the area in front of the station house.
Take a look!

Comments and ideas are always appreciated!!!
Thanks again!

07-11-2005, 11:39 PM
Thats is one wicked looking dual woodie - the surrounding landscape beautifully done, L!

07-11-2005, 11:42 PM
Fantastic Work!

07-12-2005, 01:13 AM
I did't read the last few replies, but I really just had to say that your park is absolutely awesome. No really...I just alt-tabbed out my game because I felt bad for not saying just how awesome your park is.

Random suggestion for logflume ride...Canaries' Grave (You know the mine canaries...poor fellas always died first).

Also, I agree with an above poster about leaving the boats on freeform. The peeps aren't too bad at getting lost...they just don't turn back until they want to get off.

07-12-2005, 10:03 AM
Gosh, thanks a bunch for the good comments. Pumper - thanks, took a LONG time to get the cars and timing to work out. There's some areas where I don't like the supports and how they conflict with the track, but hey, what can you do.
PureKnickers - I understand about not wanting to get out of a game while your in it, so I certainly appreciate you taking time to comment. I love the name you suggested. Not sure if it fits a log flume, but defintely some mine ride. I might use it for a future ride - of course I'll give you credit.;) Oh, don't worry, I will turn off the track for the boat ride.
I don't have much room left in the park, or too many areas left undeveloped. This is the final area really, besides just trees, lights, scenery around the park.

07-13-2005, 12:16 AM
Very nice Park Guy! I like, I like!

07-13-2005, 03:59 AM
I can't believe I've missed this one up til now. Great job! Beautiful theming. My favorite building is the New Mexico style Thunderbird station. I love the attention to detail throughout this park.

07-13-2005, 09:53 AM
Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words Shyguy, you are certainly part of the inspiration for us all. Your architecture for Wonder World is Incredible. I love the Alpine Village and Catfish Cove. It's a beautiful park!
I'm zoning in on the last section to add rides and stuff, so I'm trying to figure out what to do. I'll post more updates when I get some done.
Thanks again!

07-13-2005, 10:02 AM
1 word: "Amazing!", a whole park about the West? It is brillant, you have combined amazingly detailed buildings to thrilling rides, bravo, i've been watching this park since the start, wonder why I havent commented on it in ages or not at all (sorry, cant remeber) I am rating this park at 5 stars, without a doubt, cant wait for the download!

07-14-2005, 05:38 PM
I have no idea how I've missed this park for so long! It is AWESOME!!!! Very huge inspiration for me to do some awesome stuff. Thank you so much for sharing your hard work!

07-15-2005, 03:24 PM
It's great to hear the nice comments. I haven't worked on my park in a few days. Just bought a new car and been busy. I'll work on it some tonight and this weekend. The wife is away for a few days next week, so I'm going to try and finish it by next weekend when my son gets home. I have been so amazed at all the nice parks around here lately. I've gotten a bunch of ideas to make my park even nicer. (ie Milkdud, ShyGuy, CircleVision, JASaxman).
Only one last area to finish also. I'm thinking of doing a floorless twister called Spirit that winds it's way around, over, and through the canyons. I'll post some construction pics once it gets going.
Thanks again!

Park Novice
07-15-2005, 07:31 PM
Can't wait for this one to be finished as, it will be added to my collection of fantastic parks.

You should consider providing a download pack of some of your buildings as, they are some of the best western styled buildings I have seen on any of the forums.

07-16-2005, 02:12 AM
Fantastic pics larry241, this park really looks Great    You've really put a lot of quality work on this & it really shows.

07-17-2005, 03:48 AM
Here's a progress pic of Spirit. Oh, I changed it to a regular twister with a launch hill.
Under construction progress video tomorrow!!!!

07-17-2005, 01:43 PM
Here it is! Keep in mind, this is only a progress video. I decided to make a regular twister with a launched lift hill. The only place I saw I really need to fix is the bump your head on the wall coming out of a tunnel.
Oh, don't give me any heck about oooh, I wish I were in the front seat...blah, blah, blah.
Don't look a gift video in the...whatever.
I still have tons to do in this area, so it will be a while til done.

07-17-2005, 05:05 PM
I love the coaster but I think it was too slow. Apart from that it was very good

07-18-2005, 10:04 AM
Thanks the review satriales. You're right about some of the ride. It was definitely slow in parts. I've modified it a little so now I only have two areas that slow down. One at the top of the barrel row hill (which is good because it keeps nausea low) and one at the top of the side loop that goes around the lift hill. I also have built up the land around the station so that it comes out of the mountain, over water, then rockets up through the rock and out over the hills. I also got rid of the last inversion and let the track spiral down a helix into a straight path direct back to the station. This allows me to have another break station and one more train.
I'll post more pics tonight.

07-18-2005, 02:45 PM
Looks like it is still coming along very well. I like some of the changs you have made with the carousel etc.

07-19-2005, 01:07 AM
Well, since some of you are so hard to please, I thought I'd share some of my progress. Keep in mind nothing is final. And as always, comments, praise, and suggestions are always appreciated. I still have to finish the building across from Thunderbird.

I've added a trampoline ride call Rain Dance.

See ya!

07-19-2005, 02:27 PM
I love the 'squareness' of the mountain in the first pic, but from other angles the mountain is a bit too blocky.
You've mastered the waterfalls and your coasters look awesome. Amazing park

07-20-2005, 07:37 AM
Satriales, I grew up and spent 30 of my years in Phoenix, Arizona, and I just wanted you to know that that is how they look! They really are "blocky"! They are called buttes, or butte (singular). And they're very beautiful in real life. I think larry's depiction of them is immaculate. Keep up the good work larry!

07-20-2005, 08:49 AM
Wow, thanks for the comments. Satriales, I do think it looks a little too much, but only because some of the angles in the rocks are the same in each and really shows up in the pics. Glad you like the park! Thanks Atreyuu2003, I downloaded some pics of different towers and buttes from different national parks. I modified some of the towers to flow more smoothly down to the ground, but your right about the blockyness. Man, they are cool looking. I'll post some more pics tomorrow. I'll be working on the park tonight.
FOR ALL THOSE WAITING - Here's a construction video for JAGGED MESA FALLS!

See if you can find the floating barrel. Yeah, I know, there's still a bunch of stuff to fix - but at least most of the rides are complete. All I have left is scenery and land.

07-20-2005, 09:33 AM
Looks great Larry! For some odd reason it won't let me download t he movie unless i buy a premium account, and i really don't want to pay money to see any video, is there any chance you could upload it to a different site?

07-20-2005, 09:50 AM
The sorry thing about Rapidshare is that it only lets you download 1 file and hour unless you have an account.
I'll see what I can do. The file is 26 megs, so not sure if I can find one. It won't be until tonight, since I'm at work now.
Thanks for trying though!

Nevermind I got it to work. It was very soothing with the music. I liked it! It was a pretty nice scenic ride.

07-20-2005, 04:46 PM

especially the new buildings. they remind me of "winnetou" (famous german indian - films and books).

also the coaster fits in there, cus in the movie where this housing was in, there was a chase and a fight in the nearby river.

sad, i already rated this thread. i'd like to give it another 5:up:

07-21-2005, 01:53 AM
Well, Winnetou wasn't really a famous German Indian. He was a famous character in a book, then a radio play, then a real play, then a movie and before you know he's a freakin' legend.
Anyway - thanks for liking though. Even the book was based on a real thing like this game, so it's not too bad of a likeness.
Here's a pic of the overall park.
All the rides are built; or at least all that I can think of doing. I'm working on fixing scenery stuff, adding walls and fixing stations, adding trees and bushes. Then I'll turn on the peeps.
Do you think they'll want to ride the rowboats?

07-21-2005, 03:15 PM
i cant wait to download this park! but i am afrait i will lag badly on my pc:(

dunno if the peeps will ride those boats ... maybe roy scheider:haha:

07-23-2005, 02:19 AM
Ha! That was funny soleil.
Well, all the rides are done. I'm landscaping and placing final scenery. After that I'll go back and make sure all ride/stall names are done. Then finalize staff and run some peeps through.
Here's some pictures to show how close I am.

Watcha think?

07-25-2005, 11:35 AM
Hi all, thanks for the praise. I didn't get to work much this weekend, but I did get all of the benches and lights set. Added a few more areas of scenery. I'm finishing the trees and bushes and adding some of the shops I forgot to earlier.
Big question:
Would anyone be willing to make a an amazing video promo for this park?
I could, but I think it would delay me being done. My computer is nice, but not that nice.

07-28-2005, 06:13 PM
I must say, this is one of my favorite parks so far. I really love the extensive use of the outdoor integrated with all of the buildings and scenery. Very nice!

Here are some final pics - You'll notice I've changed some scenery and landscaping. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Modstothemax.net for hosting and all the help at their community.

Like I mentioned earlier, Ive got round to playing parks, and yours was one of them, and I really enjoyed checking out all the detail, I espically liked High Noon, they were great! It sounded espically great when my back ground music is the theme from the Magnificent Seven, so it fitted in perfectly. Cant wait to see what other parks you got cooking up now, Im sure they are great!

You bring up a good thought ltt. I totally forgot to thank all of those who created the scenery packs and other parks created of which I used items.
Thank you all so much for allowing all of us on this forum to share in the fun of each other's creations. Thank you to Marnetmar, Klinn, Pumper, live_the_thrill, Jonwill, and countless others who have let us add more realism and excitement to our "dream game."

Hi all. Sorry for the double post.
Well, the park has been downloaded an amazing 44 times. I hope everyone likes it.
Funny thing though - Only four people have made comment on it.
Hmmm. What's a guy to do? Hmmm...bribe? I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a review today...Threat? If you don't give me a review, I'll spit in your orange soda bottle. Beg? Please, oh please, I'll never give a bad comment again. Hmmm...blackmail? If you don't review this park, I'll tell your mothers what websites you've been on. Ha!
Anyway - thanks for at least taking the time to download.
I'm also thinking of what to do for my next park. Any ideas?
Some ideas:
Seas of Adventure - with sections for Mexican coast ruins and jungle coast, Mediterranean lost city, and a European port.
A single park an any of those above.
A combo water/theme park of any one of those above.
A mountain mountain mining town - similar to this park, but with pine trees, different terrain colors, no desert buttes or New Mexico Indian stuff.
I like the top one the best, but a combo water/theme of one is second.

Maybe a waterpark!? :D
U got the skills to make it.

08-01-2005, 06:24 PM
I'd tell you what not to do but I don't want to give away what I am doing.

And I only have had like 1 comment since I put Kamp KiDFoX back up for DL so what are you complaining about :)

08-01-2005, 07:20 PM
Actually, I just downloaded it this morning along with ShyGuy's park. Hopefully I'll get to look at it sometime tonight or tomorrow night. I'll comment later.

Well, damn, someone gave me a 1 rating!!!
What's up with that? Sorry if I pissed someone off.

08-06-2005, 06:22 AM
you guys should post your rct3 vids on attack of the show forums maybe theyll say sumthing about them or put them on the show:up:  :D :D

08-06-2005, 08:23 AM
The buildings are amazing!! Very good!

08-07-2005, 11:39 PM
Thanks for the comments. I'm glad everyone likes it.
That's a good idea about the videos, G, but mine are definitely not worth it. You should check out Vohdin or Bitterjewler's stuff. They rock!!!
I've kind of got "writer's block" right now. I know what I'm basically doing right now. I've got a Venice/Italian piazza (HEY TITUS, GOT ANY PICS?) entry started. There will be a canal at the end and the whole thing will be surrounded by buildings. One side would lead to a pirate area and the other to...? a midway, boardwalk area? I kind of wanted to do the Seas of Adventure thing. A little like Disney Sea, but not do a huge park.
I will start a new thread when I get some substatial stuff. Maybe next weekend.
See ya guys!
Oh, let me know how Roaring Canyons ran on your computers - I'm curious. Was all the detail worth it?
