View Full Version : What Peep generation rate do you use?

I am making a scenerio that will challange me financialy in a sandbox type mode. At first I left the peep generation rate at default (100%) and was surprised at how fast the park filled up. Too easy to make money with a rate that high. I have the rate down to 15% now and I'm getting a better challenge. I'm wondering what the standard rate used for the great sandbox type games from RTC1 are. And I wonder what rate the Scenerios from RTC3 are using and what rate is considered the satandard. Also what rate do the rest of you use? Thanks in advance.

Huh? Sandbox in RCT 1 ?

Anyway, when I do sandboxes and they are at unlimited funds I set it at 125%

Yea I call it sandbox mode when you get to start from scratch and build what you want where you want. RCT1 had lots of senerios like that. They blew it in RTC3 by making a sandbox mode with unlimited funds. That's nice for those that don't like the financial challenge but they should have also given us a sandbox mode that keeps all the financial features of costs vs expenses.

scenario's are scenario's no matter how they appear. RCT 1 had no "sandbox" mode. ECT had 20 scenario;s I did them all, about the only thing that was "sandy" was the terrain.

They blew it in RTC3 by making a sandbox mode with unlimited funds. That's nice for those that don't like the financial challenge but they should have also given us a sandbox mode that keeps all the financial features of costs vs expenses.


As for RCT 3, they did NOT blow it, because they DID give you that option.

You can make it funded by opening it in scenario editor and changing the unlimited optioon and saving. So the options are ALL there to do just aout anything your system can take.
