So I'm played the Checkered Flag scenario (yeah yeah, I only got the game last week). So I build a rollercoaster with an excitement rating of 7 (Clint wanted 5 or higher) and put it in my park. Clint Bushton rocks up to my park, but despite setting a path thingy for him, he doesn't go near my rollercoaster, and leaves unsatisfied. What's his problem?!

well that happened to me a few times. He just walked into the park then back out again lol. I had to get the patches and then restart the scenario. Another possible solution is to clear out all the waypoints, then just set one for that ride. hopefully he will go to it and ride it. If neither of those works, I'm stumped dude.

If the above idea doesn't help, you can always click on the pinchers and move him to the entrance of the ride. Make sure you put him on the first tile of path right before you walk on the queue line. If you have that ride set for him on his waypoints, he should run right up the queue and be happy.

I have the same problem. I made a path for the Apprentice level, and Clinton did ride my coaster and I passed the Apprentice level. I had lot's of people riding my coaster at the time. Now I am at the next level, and nobody will ride the coaster. Their thoughs indicate they thing it's too intense or something. I made a new path for Clinton and he won't follow it. I even use the pinchers and drop him at the coaster, he just turns around and runs away. What a *****, I hate him!! Stupid game!!!!!

I just figured this out two days ago.
The solution is so easy that you are overlooking it.
Do NOT CREATE A PATH FOR THE VIP.

Open up the waypoint manager for him and clear it so it is blank.
Then put your mouse pointer overtop the entrence queue for the coaster and click on it.
The waypoint manager should list the name of the coaster as the waypoint.
Then close it.
He will go directly to it.
If you want him to ride 2 coasters then after doing that simply click on the entrence queue to the 2nd coaster. The waypoint manager will automatically create a path between the two coasters.

You should only be clicking one time.

I kept making paths for him and he kept ignoring them. Once I did that, SUCCESS!

Check out the intensity of the ride. If I remember correctly, Clint likes rides to be medium intensity.

Stilgar1973 I followed your directions and they Worked perfectly. Thank you so much. I had tried over and over to make a path and he would not follow it. One click is the trick!!!!!!!!:haha: :haha:
