Well, unfortunately, Islands of Fun didn't hit well with people after a while. Including me. There was a lot missing. It wasn't until I walked through WonderWorld that I knew what I was missing. MUSIC, TINY DETAILS, AMAZING INDOOR RIDES, AMAZING STRUCTURES, and more! That's why, I have begun a new park called Magical Journeys. Here are the latest pics.

The sun rises after the first couple days of construction over the entrance area.
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/2595/shot00452tm.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00452tm.jpg)

In this entrance area are many buildings which offer as ticket booths and ATM's.

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/2371/shot00425pt.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00425pt.jpg)

And through this building, your journey begins...
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/4420/shot00390sy.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00390sy.jpg)

Construction workers have been hard at work to think of the first area. Well, we have just received a LOT of music and decided to make a Jungle - themed area. Here is what you see..... The River Exploration trail queue building up ahead, the Jungle Diner to your left, and a waterfall to the right.
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/7113/shot00463uv.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00463uv.jpg)

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/6573/shot00474xf.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00474xf.jpg)

In this ride you come to close encounters with komodo dragons...
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/1742/shot00506cj.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00506cj.jpg)

swing around with monkeys...
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/3103/shot00517bc.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00517bc.jpg)

and enter a lost temple.

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/6733/shot00546lb.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00546lb.jpg)

The Jungle diner offers exquisite food, a beautiful view, and a jammin' floor show.
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/8104/shot00489zs.th.jpg (http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00489zs.jpg)

That concludes how far we have expanded so far.

Nice stations. That temple in the first pic looks cool, too.

07-26-2005, 03:23 PM

The design for the diner was a complete accident but ended up looking good in the end!

07-26-2005, 03:28 PM
That looks very cool Disney! ;)

5 stars for you!

07-26-2005, 03:31 PM
Oh thank you so much! But, tell me, how do you rate something?

07-26-2005, 06:40 PM
anyone know how to give a thread a rating?

07-26-2005, 07:37 PM
Sorry for triple posting but here's a slight update and I need a bit of help,

A new ride has been made in the Jungle area. It is called Jungle Truckers, do you want an on-ride video? I will post pics soon though.

Blue construction walls have been put up near the Jungle Area which means that further updates for it will be put on hold. For now, there is a new land in the thinking.

What will it be called?

I want it to be a sorta ragtime-ish/ Western name. Kinda like turn of the century America.

07-26-2005, 08:23 PM
Hey there, awesome park so far. I don't know about the others, but I'd love to see an on-ride video :)

EDIT: Oh right, to rate a thread, scroll to the bottom of the page, and look to the right. There should be a drop down menu. I wouldn't be surprised if you can't rate your own though :P

07-26-2005, 08:42 PM
Great Job so far, can't wait to see more.

07-26-2005, 10:16 PM
ok thank you.

Wow, funny how mine was rated so fast. well I will guarantee, as more develops, i will hopefully get a 5

07-26-2005, 10:24 PM
Can I join you in that guarantee?

You got some awesome work going here

07-27-2005, 12:16 PM
lol sure thing. so who wants more pics?

07-27-2005, 06:59 PM
Cough Cough... me!

07-27-2005, 08:26 PM
Dang guys this park is turning out so much more amazing than I ever would've thought. i swear I will get pics up soon, just let me finish up this mountain coaster.

It's official, I'm the killer of threads.

07-28-2005, 07:33 PM

07-28-2005, 07:36 PM
OK, since you asked.:p

It looks pretty good, the coaster reminds me of the matterhorn a little.

07-28-2005, 08:05 PM
lol. Jesus Christ is it just me or is this thread getting EMPTY!!!???

Thank you for the comment.

Strange why aren't I say commentS!!!

07-28-2005, 09:41 PM
Don't feel bad, most of the community doesn't really respond as much. I don't know why you don't have that many replys because your park is pretty good compared to some other ones around here. I'm suprised that the crappy parks get more replys than the "Better Parks".

07-29-2005, 11:02 AM
exactly what i was thinking

07-29-2005, 11:07 AM
Yeah, I am beginning to wonder at some of the most recent parks thrown (and I do mean thrown) out by some people. They seem to have 15 parks within a day, and the ones I am trying to keep track of keep dropping to the 2nd page because of it, including my own.

I just watched your Mountainier video, Disney. Very nice, and very wel developed with the land being close to it. Kind of gives you a sense of security when riding it. :D Good for chickens like me.

The park looks great from what I have seen so far. Keep at it. Just remember, that while you are sharing here, do this for you and not for everyone else. It's more fun that way. :D

07-29-2005, 11:30 AM
lol sure thing.

Oh, little known fact, that mountain was constructed customly block by block. It took a few days.

07-29-2005, 12:01 PM
You have a beautiful park here. I like the bridges you have built and the entrance to mountaineer looks great. I am a sucker for jungle themed parks. Keep up the good work and don't get frustrated due to the lack of responses. http://img40.echo.cx/img40/2343/5stars5au.gif

Here is my stamp of approval: http://img171.echo.cx/img171/8178/04s9gm.gif

07-29-2005, 04:14 PM
Hey disney! Long time no talk! Your new park looks amazing, This is a gotta have park. You should put it up for download!!!! Its incredable. My favorate park so far.

Park Novice
07-29-2005, 04:37 PM
Very nice, I know what you mean about posts but, I think people tend to comment on the new threads as, there is less to scroll through. Once they get to a couple of pages, I think people just can't be bothered.

But whatever happens, keep building as you are probable one of the best themers out there at this moment.

07-29-2005, 04:45 PM
seriously?! thank you so much! I appreciate the comments. yes, Park Novice that's probably it. lol. oh don't worry, I will release a download.

08-14-2005, 03:29 PM
Well it has indeed been a while but I am going to reveal some info.

Tables have arrived to the park and now people can enjoy eating a bit more. The new land in the works is still pending a name. (Need your help) The theme will be Southern/Western. One of the new rides in the works is going to be Song of the South.

Pics up soon

08-14-2005, 03:34 PM
OMG!!! There was a huge glitch in the game and the screen screwed up and everything. The park got deleted but thank God I have a .bak file for it. What do I do with that file so that it reappears in the game?

08-14-2005, 05:31 PM
Please respond I need your help!

08-14-2005, 05:36 PM
Try just renaming the exention to .dat

08-14-2005, 06:06 PM
lol i'll see

08-14-2005, 06:16 PM
i hope it starts working for you because it's looking good:up:
i really like how you made the jungle truckers:D

Nick - Hello, Nick here with the latest news inside of Magical Journeys. Unfortunately a guest was thrown out of the park for attempting at exiting the Mountainier coaster to take pictures of the new ride. He left the park not only with words of warning but a serious leg injury. Each of the photos was damaged a bit in the confiscation.

http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/3793/shot00787ey.th.jpg (http://img385.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00787ey.jpg)

We now turn to Mr. Nick for the latest words

Nick interviewer - So Mr. Nick, what is the latest news on the new ride and area.

Mr. Nick - Well, the new area will be Western themed. The signature attraction is what we're working on now. It will be called Song of the South.

NI - So, what's it going to be like?

Mr. N - Well, it will be a log flume ride and we are drawing serious inspiration from my long-time pal, Walt. He wants to make a ride based on the movie in his park but thinks it's not gonna do so well. So he will see how it works with my park before making it in his.

NI - How close are you to finishing it?

Mr. N - I'd say we're about 80% done with it. We only have half of a mountain still and have to construct the big drop. It will be open to the public soon.

NI - What about the rest of the Western area? Any ideas?

Mr. N - Well we will have a shooting gallery with water guns. Plans for the rest of this area are still in development.

NI - Ok well thank you for taking the time to chat with us.

Mr. N - Any time!

A cookie!

08-21-2005, 01:33 AM
I'll take mine with a shot of bourbon on the side instead of milk. :haha: Just kidding, but seriously, your park looks great. I will continue to check back and see your updates. Keep up the good work.

08-21-2005, 11:38 AM
Thank you KEN!!!

08-21-2005, 11:44 PM
Make mine a chewy chocolate chip...:haha:

Oh yeah, the park so far looks beautiful, and the Mountaineer video was great. Keep it up; I'm counting on this one to be a best-seller!

08-22-2005, 01:32 AM
I just saw this today. Very good job so far. I'm glad Wonder World was inspiring for you.

Oh, and sorry about exiting the Mountainier Coaster to take the pictures. I always seem to be getting thrown out of parks.

08-22-2005, 05:39 PM
It's ok you're allowed to vandalize the park. How's the broken leg treating you?

08-30-2005, 10:05 PM

Don't worry the park and pics are there. It's 10 o clock now so I'll post it all tomorrow I swear.

You're gonna love it. Just please stay tuned!

09-01-2005, 06:29 PM
(Ryan I like the update pic idea. I hope you don't mind.)

Nick - Ok people though you can't hear or see me, I am right in front of the blue construction walls with people shouting all around me! ITS WILD OVER HERE!!! The latest area now officially known as The Outback is about to open. Now, what most guests don't know is that the new ride Song of the South, a large flume ride, is ready to open after nearly a month and a half of construction!!! Ok well we are gonna be given the insider's tour so that we can avoid the throngs of people here. Ok well after crossing the bridge into The Outback you are immediately transported into a Western frontier. There is a shootin' gallery to the right and an information and bank to the left. Right after the bank is the ride we've been waiting for. We cross a bridge and notice a large mountain and the entrance gate to the ride.

^ The entrance to the Song of the South area^

^The Calamity Jane Cafe is a two-storied eatery with exquisite dining and great views^

^After going through the line, you enter the half outdoors loading station^

Since this page is hard enough to load already the rest will be in thumbnails in the next post.

Ohhh... is this log-flume a darkride? Or just a huge station building???
Anyway, I really like your park so far and that new ride looks like I`d enjoy to ride it. I prefer themed rides very much to plain coasters - although the tracklayout is also important.
Could we get an overview of the mountainier (or did I miss a pic) because that ride is also looking great!

Edit: Ohhh, cool update while I was writing! Got to take a closer look now...

^Sooooooo a Kodak moment^

The following is an interview with Disfan1. He worked in the Calamity Jane Cafe especially with the tables.

Nick - So, how was it working behind the scenes

Disfan1 - Oh man it was so exhilerating! I loved knowing that I got to see everything before everyone else did!

N - Even though you didn't work on the ride, did you get to experience it in any way?

DF1 - Well, I got to listen and work to Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah all day while I worked! HA HA!

N - So you don't really know anything about the ride?

DF1 - No not really!

N - Ok that was usefull

I hope you like it everyone!

09-01-2005, 06:54 PM
Wow, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah! I gotta post again!!! That`s a great update!
The ride is looking awesome, and from that overview shot it seems like there is really much to discover! So the question from my previous post seems to be answered: it`s a darkride - and not a small one... I`d love to ride it! And from what I can tell from these shots it`s got to be the main attraction of your park!
(I smell some Splash mountain in the air - especially while seeing that Kodak moment! ;) But you really live up to your inspiration)

BTW, you inserted one picture twice in your first update post.

09-01-2005, 07:02 PM
Woops didn't notice. But thank you so much I didn't have to ask you to reply. Yes I did take MAJOR inspiration from Splash Mountain and Shyguy.

No it will not be the main attraction. This is maybe the 3rd major. I can't wait to post my next one but it's still in my mind.

I'll give you a hint to my next one............

09-01-2005, 07:16 PM
... lightyearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Or will you build a ride through a giant beehive??? :D
(I have to admit that I did that once... but it was a stupid darkride - pretty boring with only two bee scenery objects, and the yellow walls got also annoying pretty fast...)

09-01-2005, 07:21 PM
is the name from epcot?

09-01-2005, 07:24 PM
hmmmmmmm, because I am a DisneyFREAK this should be ringing a bell but it's not. And no. This is a Nick original!

Another hint: It will be going into the Jungle Area.

09-01-2005, 11:22 PM
Any bug in general?
Park look cool, also

09-02-2005, 12:07 AM
Hey, my photography skills are getting better. But my favorite is still of the blue fence from Wonder World. It's very artistic.

Bzzzzzzzzzzug's Life???????

Oh, and I can't wait to ride Song of the South!!!

09-02-2005, 12:19 AM
a TV buzzzzzzzzzz ride?
or bugz ride?
buzz light year?
looks great disfan....

09-02-2005, 06:00 PM
Yay more responses.

Ok I'll give a trailer to my ride when I'm done constructing it. Ok shyguy. Yes, you will get to ride it soon

You see, I'm having an issue with my park. I can't seem to place entrances and exits so this is what I need. I would put up the park for download. Then I would have someone put in the entrances and exits in the right places and then have an admin. replace the link with yours and I download your revision.

09-03-2005, 12:49 PM
Ok the guesses were really close.

So, here's a treat for you all. My next ride that will be in the Jammin' Jungle area.

The Hive

Mind you it's a teaser so don't expect too much.

09-03-2005, 01:08 PM
So, it`not a beehive... but pretty close!
But I`ve to admit that spiders make for a much more interesting ride. They`re defenitely scarier than bees!

I think your vid was great! Gets me really hyped to see the finished ride. I also loved the song in the video and that you used that spiderweb fence! Looking forward...
(With Wild! around the corner you`ll soon be able to add that giant tarantula!!!),

09-03-2005, 04:47 PM
Thanks. Oh and the music is called Itsy Bitsy Spider from the 8 legged freaks soundtrack

Thanks for noticing the details.

But the area with the skulls is missing something and I'm not sure what.

Also, I was rather undecided so I am gonna make a kinda combo of wasps, bees, and spiders in the ride.

I just thought the Hive was a cool name.

09-07-2005, 06:43 PM
Ok people I'm gonna need your help.

Now, it won't happen now but I just need to start sign-ups now.

Sign-ups for what? you may ask. Well, I'm having technical difficulties with my park. Don't worry construction will resume!

But, as soon as I'm done making two more rides, I will post the park for download, allowing you all to walk through Magical Journeys on your own.

The task I need you all to do is simple. For some rides, I will have built an entrance and exit lines, or maybe no exit lines, or no lines at all! But, I can't seem to place the entrances and exits.

So here it is, I will put it up for download soon and allow you all to come up with some creative exits and entrance queues for my rides. You must post pics of the queues and I will choose whose queues are the best. That's when I'll need a moderator's help by replacing the download link with one of your parks with completed queues.

do you understand?

How do I want you to sign up for download capabilities?

Email me at DisneyFREAK918@hotmail.com and ask for participation. Everyone who asks will receive a download link and will get an oppurtunity to make some queues. Remember to post pics of them and I will choose which one is the best.

Thank you! (Downloads will come later in the future)

any takers?

The reason why you can't place entrances and exits is because you don't own the land.

Why would we build the entrances and exits for you, I mean come on.

Been a while but here are some teaser pics taken of the next indoor roller coaster The Hive. And we have an interview with us.

Nick - So, can you tell us a little bit more on The Hive?

Mr. Nick - Of course I can. This is going to be our first (but not last) indoor roller coaster. The entire track of the ride is currently finished and we are encasing the ride in a hive look-a-like.

Nick - What kind of scenery is in this ride?

Mr. Nick - Well, we will feature a couple pieces from Tidus's wall set and some of Pumper's wall pieces. When it's finished I believe this will be the scariest ride in our park.

Nick - Scary? How so?

Mr. Nick - I can't say too much otherwise it would ruin the surprise. But, I will say that there is a really creepy part featuring our eight legged friends.

Nick - Very interesting indeed. So, is there any progress elsewhere in the park?

Mr. Nick - We've been putting some little detaily touches on the Western area. Ah yes, we opened it by the way. The opening was a huge success. People are flocking to Song of the south. As for huge updates. There is a new land in store. We are going to call it Discoveryland. We have one ride in mind that we will build for it. But, that's for a later interview.

Nick - That sounds exciting! Well, you heard it from him. How 'bout some pics?

Lookin' forward to see the development :)

Keep up the excellent work :D

09-27-2005, 02:00 PM
The Hive still sounds very interesting!
I remember your teaser video! Looking forward to any progress. Nice work on the enclosing so far. It`s not to easy to make a building look like a hive. I`m curious what your finished structure will look like.

09-27-2005, 02:22 PM
This park ownezez all mine put together!:(

09-27-2005, 03:18 PM
Thank you all.

enclosing the hive is indeed difficult. But, in the end it should be a rather "unique" building that is very life like.

10-15-2005, 11:55 PM

It's been a couple months of work but I believe I have finished it.

Hello, I'm Nick here reporting to you live from Magical Journeys theme park where they are about to open The Hive to the public. We have with us, a lead designer in the coaster, Pumper.

Nick - Could you tell us a bit more on this coaster?

Pumper - Of course! The Hive is Magical Journey's first indoor roller coaster. This ride features some pretty scary scenes that myself and a partner of mine have created. We do believe that this will be one of the scariest rides in the park.

Nick - That sounds awesome! What about the area around the Hive?

Pumper - Construction workers have tried their hardest to constantly tweak scenery changes throughout the entire park by blending themes together to make some outstanding results. The area around The Hive is made to look like a spider's nesting grounds. And the area behind the main entry-way to that area is going to lead to two different lands: Discovery Land and the new idea that we are not ready to disclose ;)

Nick - Ok, I think we're ready to ride it!

Pumper - Let's go!

Nick - WOW!! That was so cool! Two months was worth the wait it seems.

Pumper - I'm glad you liked it.

Nick - Ok, with the Hive done, this park is about ready to be released for download! I will release it for download soon!

Pretty schweet dog. Keep up the hard work, even if morons never reply lol.

10-16-2005, 10:33 AM
How did you guys like the video.

10-16-2005, 04:22 PM
bumpity bump! lol

10-16-2005, 04:46 PM
Hey, I was actually searching for your park some days ago, because I remembered that it had some nicely themed rides and i was curious about the hive. Downloading now!

EDIT: Hey, cool indoor coaster! And there was this song again: "Itsy, bitsy spider... lalalalala!"
I really love how you did the outside! When the camera turned and showed your terraforming on the queue, it immediatly reminded me of a wasp hive. The actual building fits the theme also very well.
The different wall types and cracked walls you through together in the inside added to the hive feeling too! And it`s really frightening what`s lurking underneath... brrr, I`m so glad that I`m not an insect. Great work!
Just one thing: What`s the picture of the evil Indianchief doing at the end of the ride? lol

10-16-2005, 05:28 PM
I have no idea. I just wanted a picture moment and I thought it was creative enough. I guess you could say it looked like the spider's last meal i guess?

Thank you kindly

10-17-2005, 04:11 PM

10-18-2005, 07:47 AM

10-19-2005, 03:30 PM

10-19-2005, 03:57 PM
btw, you didn`t add pictures since you finished the hive. Maybe that`s why only few people are replying.

10-23-2005, 04:48 PM

10-23-2005, 04:49 PM
Hey look, all the negative comments turned into a positive one!:) :p

10-23-2005, 05:28 PM
It just disappoints me to know that I work so hard on it and only 2 people have downloaded it

Edit: Ok, now 9. There, that made me happier.

How about some specific things. Did anyone who downloaded it find the employees only building? Hint: It's in the jungle area.

10-27-2005, 02:16 PM
Perhaps with the new forum layout this won't get burried so quick?

10-29-2005, 10:51 AM
Nick - With Part I of Magical Journeys available for download, the park is becoming popular as ever. With the beginning of Part II, the enormous Jammin' Jungle area has finally been completed. And we have the pics of the final sub-area known as Arabian Street. Come on! Let's take a look

(Please note that all pictures were taken during construction and do not show the completed Arabian Street. I will update with complete pics later. Yes, Arabian Street is completely finished)
