here is a way around the sceREAD ALL THESE INSTRUCTION"S BEFORE TRYING! I RESUME NO RESPONSABILITY FOR ANY GAME SCREWUPS! you can change the scenarios in create a new scenario in the game follow the direction,s. go to c:\programfiles\atari\rollercoastertycoon3\campains\base left click on blanklandscape and drag to a new folder(name new folder base) on desktop. now choose the scenario you wish to play right click on it and drag it to the new base folder on the desktop and click copy now go back to the base folder. right click on the scenario you want to play (the original one you just copied)and right click rename and rename it to BlanklandScape.dat now when you go into the game it will be that landscape and all that comes with it. ALWAY"S MAKE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL BEFORE RENAMING OR MODIFYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok now go into the game and go to tools then create new scenario. there it is. change ANYTHING you want except map size this will cause a game crash. save the game to the exact original name without the .dat it will create this automaticly. exit game. go into mydocuments\rtc3\startnewscenario and thats where it saved it move it back into the base folder it originaly came from. and now when play the scenario it's the one you modified. you can return to normal by moving all the items back to the original folders. they will overwrite the ones you created so you might want to save them before you do. if you need any help please post here. i will get a reply thru email. good luck, Brian p.s. if any body has come up will a way to release the locked designs other than playing all the scenarios let me know

Your way around kind of beats the purpose of even playing the scenarios doesn't it? Or is this an idea for people who don't want to play the scenarios, but want to unlock the coaster designs?

you can set the objectives real easy to get thru all them for the coasters if you set the reward for coaster design for all three levels each game

i just put these intructions here for what ever reason you want to use them. if you don't want to use them don't. some of us are curious about them(locked designs). and some of us like to cheat. they did put built in cheats u know! anyway i like to build the parks and not have to worry about the requirements and restrictions the scenarios have. i like the landscapes and the scenery that they have already made up. and if i don't i can change them this way.

you know what sucks? I've been playing al these scenario's and then I hear that somebody does something like this just to get the coasters. The scenario's are great to play ( a bit difficult maybe) and should be played by everyone who want the coasters.

Whooooo Slow down.. We all play the game in different ways. That's why it is such a good game, because you can play it the way you like best. Some people go to the Sandbox or the Editor and make there own games. Some people want the challange of doing all the scenarios. I like the scenarios but I need help with some of them. It's all OK WE all can do it our way! :haha: :haha:
