This project a theme park I started this past Monday. This is the first RCT3 park I've ever done. Not much to it yet, but this topic will regularly updated as the park progresses. Please scroll down for updates.

For now, here some screenshots of what's happening so far:

Bridge leading from the entrance to the park:

Sky view of "Paradise Market", the first area guests enter.

Building that houses a burger stall and a drink stall.

Sky view of food court. The building on the left houses a souvineer stall:

Train Station. The train has yet to be built:

Small update (8/5/05, 9:30 PM). New area is under construction:

This double-deck observation tower will serve as a "hub."

This is the entrance way to "Pirate Bay", the new area I'm working on.

This is "Long Sword", a compact wooden coaster that is the "centerpiece", so to speak, of Pirate Bay. It's about 85 feet tall, and hits about 48 mph.

An aerial view of the Pirate Bay boardwalk, under construction. The theme of Pirate Bay will basically be a coastal town invaded by pirates. The boardwalk is partially inspired by the California boardwalks from the nineteen-twenties. In this view, there's Long Sword, a pirate ship called "Blackbeard's Fury", and the Pirate Bay Lighthouse (Which I created myself).

A close up view of Blackbeard's Fury, with Long Sword in the background.

A rather dramatic shot of the (mostly) completed boardwalk section of Pirate Bay, taken from the water.

Lookin great so far!

If I may offer a suggestion, I think the station for Long Sword looks a little funky and too bulky. You should probably try to condense that by a few squares or add some variety to it. Other than that, keep up the good work!:)

Yeah, I'm not too pleased with the way my station turned out. I'm gonna redesign it so it's not so big. I'll probably change the style of walls.

Very nice park. I love the theme of it, and the fact that you took all the pics at night. It gives it a really nice mood. Keep up the good work!

Update 8/6/05. More screenshots, and a waterpark is under construction:

The Pirate Bay boardwalk is pretty much done, next it'll be the rest of Pirate Bay.

Same area, but from another angle.

I got rid of Long Sword's original station, and built a smaller one.

Gift shop added next to Long Sword.

Completed PB boardwalk from the water.

Another look at the boardwalk.

Long Sword, in all it's wooden glory.

This is the start of what will be a waterpark, called "Atlantis Waterworks."

This is the entrance way.

Aerial view of what's been completed so far.

Major Update: 8/11/05: Pirate Bay and Atlantis Waterworks are complete. New area under construction. This update may require two posts. I took these pics last night, after busting my butt for a combined 6-8 hours. Here is part one.

First, Pirate Bay:

Aerial view of Pirate Bay, which I can finally check off the to-do list.

A Pounding Surf ride called "Tsunami."

"Ship Wreck", a Splash Boat ride.

Hurricane, with its station.

Another look at Hurricane.

Hurricane's station.

Pirate Bay Tram Station.

This is a great park! I really love it!

Long Sword is really cool just maybe change the colors a bit so it's not all black, just a suggestion.

Also maybe change the roofs of the station for Long Sword it looks kind of weird right now.

Other than that it looks awesome man!!

Part three. More of Atlantis Waterworks.

Wave Pool.

Three slides in this pic. Tornado (The orange slide), an H2O slide, Blackout (The black slide), a body slide, and Insanity. The rollercoaster is Kraken, a roller-soaker.

Aerial view of Atlantis Waterworks.

A new area is under construction. It is called "Inferno Mountain." The theme will be an ancient civilization destroyed in a volcanic eruption caused by an angry god (named Kane).

The coaster you see here is "Kane", a tilt coaster, though it doesn't seem like it (The tilt section is hidden).

Kane's burning station.

Kane's lift hill, with the tilt section barely visable in the background.

Kane's tilt section, preceded by a steep lift hill through a burning building.

Rabbit hops on the far side of the mountain, towards the end of the ride.

A train climbing Kane's lift hill, with a sidewinder, corkscrew, and helix visable. The log flume in the bottom right is called "River of Fire."

Any comments?

Update: 9/5/05: Work continues on Inferno Mountain, new coaster added to Paradise Market, several thrill rides, and a new area under construction.

Hey guys. Sorry for a lack of updates. I had other things going on, like school.

Anyway, I've raised some land, and have built a little 'hotel' kind of thing.

This is the "Pacific Palace Hotel".

Another look at the hotel.

Not too far from the hotel is the Pacific Palace Whale Show.

There's also a Kara Oki concert stage.

Top Hat section for "Thunder In Paradise", a new Stratacoaster that is short but sweet.

T.I.P.'s train returning from the brief, but heart-pounding 85+ mph ride up and down the tower.

Daytime shot of T.I.P.'s station.

T.I.P. from the air.

This night time view from the air shows Thunder In Paradise's train clearing the top hat, beginning it's descent.

I've been planning a video for Kane. I just wish the game didn't slow to a snail's pace every time I tried to make a video. I might try it tomorrow.

This is very beautiful! I would love to even come here in real life!

Wow, this is one of the few best parks I have ever seen, and the fact that it is your first one ever is even sweeter.

Keep up the awesome work!

I've got one word for this thread....

If you post 100+ pictures on one page with a size of 250+KB (over 30MB on the first page!!!!!) most people wil close the thread before it loads.

The park itself looks great!

09-10-2005, 11:15 PM
I can't believe I didn't see this park until now!!!

WOW, Tremindious work...and this is your first park! Ok, I'm humbled now. :downcast:

So how much more you got planned? When will we see a D/L?

And yes, please use thumbnails for those unfortiante few of us on dialup! (Thankfully not me, but bandwidth at work sux)

Update: 9/11/05 (Part 1): Several little things happening, plus one big thing. Here are screenshots.

You want thumbnails? Then by God, I'll give you thumbnails!

This is the park entrance. At first, there was nothing here but the gate. So I decided to add a little something to make it look good.

http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/5918/shot03007ix.th.png (http://img368.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot03007ix.png)

In addition to a new paintjob, Demon Drop's track design has been modified. At first, it was just the vertical drop, a u-turn, a loop, and a tunnel into the station. Here, I've added a wide turn (The end of which at the bottom right of the picture), a loop, and a helix.

Update: 9/11/05 (Part 2): New inverted coaster added (This is the "Big Thing" I mentioned in my previous post).

Here are the screenshots (In thumbnails, at everyone's request) ;).

This is Warrior, a new inverted coaster. It was originally supposed to be a wooden coaster, but I decided to go for something grander. Warrior's layout is mostly inspired by Silver Bullet, at Knott's Berry Farm (Which is a nice park).

Now, someone mentioned a download. I can't make any gurantees (sp), but I'll try to finish it by the end of the month.

Couple more things to show ya'll.

First, I've created a teaser logo for Warrior.
http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/1153/warriorteaserlogo0ab.th.jpg (http://img397.imageshack.us/my.php?image=warriorteaserlogo0ab.jpg)

Also, I've begun planning on a Hyper Coaster project:

Using a picture from the park's early stage of construction, I've drawn the (very) basic concept of the ride's location and layout. The ride will start at the north-western end of Pirate Bay, then it will run along the shoreline and Atlantis Waterworks. It'll be in the 150 ft to 170 ft height range, and well over 3,000 feet long.
http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/9166/hypercoasterconcept8vn.th.png (http://img397.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hypercoasterconcept8vn.png)

Edit: I've decided to drop the name contest. I've come up with a name. It's called "Dragonbreath".

More info coming later.

Love the waterslides in this park, as I look at their layout, I want to get on and ride them. I think they're very waterpark-eque and the types of things you see in waterparks. Very nice, and don't think I won't steal some ideas!

Everything else looks fantastic as well - but I really just wanted to comment on the slides.
