Ok here is my other park i started this park awhile ago about May or June, I'm not gonna have alot of updates daily cause it's on my brother's computer. So not alot of updates are going to go into this. Two reasons:
1. I'm almost done and the park almost fills all of the sandbox!
2. My brother's usually on here alot.

So here are the pics of each section:
1. The Main Midway

2.The Comet Flyer

3.The Kiddie Korner and Thrill Section. 5 coasters are visable.

4. The New Midway(unfinished)

5.Main Midway with new ride!

6.New Midway(unfinished)

http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/6065/shot00154fw.th.jpg (http://img126.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00154fw.jpg)

7.almost whole park all rides, buildings, coasters can be seen!

http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/2408/shot00178tq.th.jpg (http://img219.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00178tq.jpg)

I can't get all of the park in one picture because it is too big!:bulb:

There will be no Waterpark and there is custom scenery

So see ya later!

Cool. I like your layout, seems realistic and the coasters look really cool and fun. Only, could you take some daytime pictures, it's hard to see at night. Keep it up, but personally, Timber Town is better, though this one seems more full.:D

Looks good so far, it's quite full and those day pics help see what's going on, and a bit of advice, it looks like the trees are really square in the last picture, it goes from really dense to none in a straight line and the trees near the edge of the park aren't as dense you should delete some of the trees in the park to make it look more even. But right now the park looks like alot of fun and that bridge looks great. The woodies are really nice and the layout looks cool. Thanks for taking the time to post it.

I know i'm not quite done treeing in the area quite yet. I'm probably gonna fill the rest of the park with trees except the area with the new ride.:)

WOW looks, great. I love the layout and, lighting is perfect good job!:noob:

Very nice. It looks quite realistic, especially the coasters!

The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that you have like 100 different breeds of trees all mixed together. You should limit the number of breeds to a maximum of 3 breeds, it will look much miore realistic. Besides that, though, great job!

I'd have to disagree with you, Milkdud... I actually like the trees in this park.. it's very -- 'Early Autumn'. Kind of the same thing I have going on around Shan-Yu in Villain Valley, just a little more dense in this park.

I'd like to see more of that wooden coaster up close... looks like a good classic design.

Which one?
I dont know who i'm gonna go with on the trees though!:)

I was referring to the coaster on the lower left of your last screenshot.

Re: the trees... I think they look good.. but they are a bit on the dense side. Might wanna thin them out a bit here and there... not every single tile has to be filled with a tree. ;) I'm a big fan of plunking down both the "Very Large Rock" and "Very Small Rock" here and there... helps smooth out the 'natural' feel of things.

Also, I'd play around with the spraypaint on your land textures. Turning the "nozzle" down to one tile, and dropping various one-square dirt tiles, mud tiles, etc... really offer up some variance to the ground, and make it a lot 'prettier' to look at. (Edit: ) This technique is great for emphasising shadows, or worn spots. Think about it in real life. How well is grass going to grow under those wooden coaster tracks? Probably not very well.. so throw more shadowed dirt under there. Or, perhaps the park even used gravel underneath the tracks. You can see where I'm going. Painting the landscape really brings things to a whole new level.

You're off to a really good start... just needs some visual tweaks here and there.

Yeah i agree with the trees and the rocks and the textures!:)
I will be able to get some pics up maybe this afternoon or tonight, since i'm in michigan it's 2:45!:)

That's all for now!:D

Looking a lot better... I really like that turn at the furthest point on Comet Flyer.. reminds me a lot of the turn out over the lake on Raven.

Don't forget to add some terrain-variances out on those wide expanses of grass... mix it up a little all over the place... especially around the water. Check Vodhin's Custom Starter Map Kits (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=487947) for an excellent example of what I'm talking about with the terrain painting.

Hey every body sorry for the lack of updates i haven't been able to update lately!
I have 2 questions
1. how do you put links in your sig?
2. what coaster should i build next? i'm having trouble deciding.
I already have these coasters:
Twister-Wooden;;Comet Flyer-Wooden;;Caterpillar-Junior
Mindbender-SLC;;Mad Mouse-Wild mouse;;Vertigo-Inverted Shuttle;;
Boomerang-Boomerang;;Hawk-B&M Floorless

I don't know what to build next i don't have much room just a small area behind Hawk.
So Thanks alot if you can help me plus if you give me an idea you can make the coaster for my park!

can someone help me?

look up!

08-18-2005, 08:24 PM
What about a suspended coaster? The park has a family amusement park type feel and I think a suspended coaster will add to that.

08-18-2005, 08:56 PM
That's a very good idea!!:D

Do you wanna do it?!?

it'd be cool if you did!

Great job! It looks very realistic!:D Your parks looks very beautiful!

08-21-2005, 06:42 AM
Woot! Very nice park there! I really like the coasters, very realistic in layout. I especially liked the Hawk (love the track threading the loop) and the Comet Flyer (the turn around is neat and realistic looking). It looks like a park in the fall...nice time of year. Does the monorail only have one station or did I miss something? A second one on the other side of Fraser Lake would have been a nice touch, but as a touring ride it's just fine. Look forward to seeing more of your parks soon...if you can get your brother off of his computer.......maybe he can buy you one for your next birthday:D , tell him I said so. Great Job!
