For my "second" park.... I have decided to go with a new concept. It goes for more or less the 4000 year history of an island. From ancient cities, to colonial expansion, to the bustling modern era, to the future. Everything is intermixed.

Due to the mass acclaim I have recieved of this park.... I have edited this to give you better pics.

These 3 are of the submarine ride:

Here is the Seabase area of the park from an overhead view:

I updated the park. It is all going nicely. This is taking much longer than Thunderfalls but this should be a great park when done.

Yet another Update. I have just finished the ride Ruins of Darkness. The ride begins as an expedition of the local waterways to find out just exactly what happened to a large complex of ruins. After groind through many caves and such, the guests end up traveling to the very moment of the disaster. Pirates started raiding the area and the natives tried to summon a monster to help. But the monster ended up being too strong and destroyed the civilization. At that very moment, the guests return to the present but at the peak of the ruins where they plunge over 100 feet into darkness.

I would like to make a video but I don't know any good videcapturing stuff like that. But instead, I have Pics. Now.

A Show scene:

The Big Drop:

And Finally, an overhead revealing just exactly how mammoth this attraction is.

Looking nice! I`d also use the watercoaster more if Frontier would change the look of the track... but that doesn`t belong here.

I like darkrides very much and it seems you have build a coaster darkride-mix. I always love to see how people create the inside of buildings and the mood of different scenes, so I hope you`ll offer it for download.
The terrain in the fifth pic looks a bit blocky, but I know that problem very well myself. When you build a lot of tunnels it requires some work to make it look smoot again.
Looks like a promising concept overall. Keep it up!

I forgot that I am done done with those parts in the 5th pic but I do prefer the blocky terrain instead of having steep slopes.

I really like this ride. I would love to get a download of it to see the ride. Any possibility?

I am planing on having the whole park for download.

Ruins of Darkness looks awesome! 'The Big Drop' pic reminds me of Ripsaw Falls at Islands of Adventure; keep it up!

Well I just finished another ride that actually goes behind Ruins of Darkness. It is a standard steel looper themed like Tokyo Disney Sea's new coaster. The ride will feature a mega detailed line because Ruins missed out on that.

Another update. Finished another ride. Spirit Wind is what I believe I am calling it. It is based off of Ragin Spirits at Tokyo Disney Sea.

Walking up to the huge temple entrance:

The Main Hall:

The actual coaster, which really isn't appropriate for such a grand line:

I love the new ride. I would love to see more pics of it. PLEASE!

I haven't exactly posted in a while. This isn't exactly my newest stuff but I have ment to post this stuff. What I have been working on I will post later this week.

But I will dig out the pics of my "DarkAges" themed land.

First of all, there is nightmare:

Back during the DarkAges, a great hall was built by a king. He used to feast and and party everynight but one day he grew mad. He started to kill many of his servants and became one of such like a vampire. He was "killed" but still lives on. Those who visit the castle tend to go temporary mad. They seem like they are flying, through the caves, hills and forests. It is often deemed hallucination but some consider it to actually be happening.

A later king, who sealed away the halls the hallucinations happened in most, built a great watch tower. It's massiveness could be seen for miles and many people used it for guidance. It used a innovative "elevator" system for guards and nobility to reach the top. But the curse left by the earlier king left this king mad. He cut the ropes at the bottom of the tower only to let the elevator platform, and its many guests squash him. Afterwards, the tower was abandoned and a newer and grander castle was built. (not built yet.)

Here's the tower:

Here is the whole area:

And of course, now, there is a preview of what I have been doing. This is a very old pic, if I were to take a screen again in the same spot, there would be much more for the eye to see. But I have been forgetting to post these pics so I am behind.

Well since nobody seems to be taking interest, I have decided to post a mega super big photo update.

First of all, the Pier. When this park was originally built. This area did not exist but after opening, a large crowd eating area was needed to be added. So this pier style area was added with many flat rides and a wooden rollercoaster.

Also, besides that, the park's hotel had a huge expansion in which the whole complex was doubled in size. Now it is half Venetcian themed and half city themed.

Here's the pier:
Now here is the other more "classical" side of the hotel.

And now here is the ultimate E-ticket of the park. 110 mph max speed. 51 mph average speed. A mile and a half of track. All covered in less than 90 seconds.

The Building:

The Line:

The Ride:

My next plans are to finish the hotel. After that will mostly be planting trees to finish off the first half of the park.

Well, this game is really pushing my computer to the limits. I am now having to turn down the textures to be able to even run my park.

But anyway, here is a cool looking castle and raft ride:

Here is the lift, and there is a cliff in which everybody here hates for some reason. Well I prefer them so shut up!

A House on fire:

And, I opened the scenerio editer to a new park and this was here to greet me.... I was really WTF when it happened...:

Sorry I missed this thread before DarkMeasures, very nice park here, I especially like the pic of the "Main Hall" that looks really good

Great updates! I love the temple hall in one of your older posts and that rapids ride really looks like it`s fun to ride! I like the fact, that you also put some work in your queue-lines. You got some nice ideas there, and it makes the whole ride feel more complete!

09-11-2005, 10:39 PM
The only problem is that it kills my computer. This park is actually quite a bit larger than the standard 128 x 128 too.

But I do enjoy making lines, I like super detailed lines like in Expedition Everest, DuelingDragons, and Indiana Jones.

But, the next project after this one is planned to be Space Mountain. And that should end up really amazing. Of course for it to truely be complete, I would need the help of somebody to create the scenery pieces for the conical dome.
