The best of luck to you my friend !

08-19-2005, 05:43 PM
Awesome! Your parks always turn out great! You seem to have a ton of cool ideas! Good Luck! :D

08-19-2005, 06:43 PM
Thanks guys! Sawyer surely the dungeon will be not only creepy...:D and KoasterKid, I have a TON of ideas but less time..eheh!

08-19-2005, 06:47 PM
I can't wait to see this one!

08-20-2005, 02:50 PM
Ok...well I haven't done so much 'cause I went to sea this morning...I've done only the main entrance palace, a huge palace that represent the entrance of the dungeon...and remember that the rest of the park should look like the Dungeon Keeper II dungeon, with no roof! Here's 2 pic and at the next!

08-20-2005, 02:54 PM
Awesome! Everything looks great so far, but... I'm kinda ondecided on the walls... they look way to plain up close but they look great in the zoomed out pic! :bulb:

Small Print
08-20-2005, 02:57 PM
How do you get pure walls and rooves?

08-20-2005, 02:57 PM
Yeah I know. Like the Saint Seiya temple large view looks more better than the other. I'll try to add some decoration to the walls!

-smallprint: Walls are that of the custom set Framework, while the roof are that of the standard set recolourable.

08-20-2005, 03:23 PM
Tidus i have to say...

Not all your parks can be great..

But they always rock.

much luck!

maz :D

08-21-2005, 08:20 AM
Thanks maz!

I've made the first coaster of the park. Is a Stormrunner track called "Ascension". I have to construct strata supports for the vertical track and some little improvements.
I'm thinking also to change the entrance buildings with another ones; but I'll wait to construct it until the end of the park. Comments are welcome...I hope to recreate a good dungeon effect....:D

08-21-2005, 08:42 AM
The forth pic really has got the dungeon feel!
I`m curious how this project will go on...

08-21-2005, 08:42 AM
Maybe after I finish a good part of the park, now I'm focused on his constructions! Thanks!

Hi I'm back! Today I've spent a lot of time using the steelworx set and at the end I can say that isn't so difficult to use! Some little improvements will be added to the coaster and then I have to start re-building the entrance. I don't like much the past one and I'm sure that this will rocks! Here's 4 pics of Ascension!Ciao!

Looks great. love the idea for this park. Dungeon keeper was one of my favorite games.

Are you going to add a casino blasting Disco Inferno? (DK2 fans will apprciate this)

I would like to see a dif angle on that coaster coming up out of the ground. from this angle it looks like everyone on the left side will get thier heads chopped off, unless that is part of the appeal to DungeonLand?

Oh, I'm sorry Timmy, you need 10 tickets to live...

08-23-2005, 04:42 AM
Very cool park so far, can't wait to see it finished ^^

08-23-2005, 11:53 AM
ahah! Joe thanks...and you're right I haven't figured the problem before. I love Dungeon Keeper but how can I made a casino room without objects?

Thanks Lumiya!

08-23-2005, 12:18 PM
I like the way you did cover the station. these parts must be from a custom supports pack, because I don`t recognize them...
The strata-coaster in the last pic looks huge. Especially with that giant custom supports. Makes me want to built a strata with these...

By the way: I also loved Dungeon-Keeper! :D

08-23-2005, 12:28 PM
Thanks Saskro! I used Hangar set and Steelworx for the station and the strata supports and Dark Ride set for the dungeon walls!

This will be the new entrance of the dungeon! Do you like it?

08-23-2005, 12:32 PM
^wow! Very realistic! :p

Jk... Nice job Tidus! That coaster looks pretty awesome... I'm still tryin to figure out the layout... :D

Not sure I understand. What do you mean without objects? Are you talking about custom objects?

I did play around with the idea last night, and made some card tables with Pumpers blocks set (curved ceiling block) and city ceiling tiles. I used animated gargoyles as the card players/dealers. Just a thought, I am sure you can create something even better.

08-23-2005, 01:32 PM
Thanks KoasterKid...the layout will be like...a dungeon! no huge structures just walls like a Dungeon Keeper or the Sims view...

-Joe Comatose...your idea is good I need only to find a pic of the DK2 Casino Room...I can't remember it..:D

Why not crank up the anisotropic filters? They make textures look alot better, sacrificing little performance, if any.

As for that one pic, it looks photorealistic, nice job on it.

this is looking great man

Thanks! I will add a train track upon the entrance long the black roofs...

08-24-2005, 09:16 PM
Wow - when did you start this? A great combo - dungeons and coasters! Looks excellent already - and great strata work too! :-)

08-24-2005, 09:22 PM
Eheh! Thanks Pumper! I started this park this week after I've finished Isla de la Muerte....I've spent 2 hours to understand how your set works and to building the strata supports....and now I can say one thing about your last set: is really GREAT! And as you can see it can be used not only for supports...
I'm happy that you like it, but this is only the beginning and a lot of complex rooms will come....to recreate a huge dungeon!:D

08-25-2005, 11:07 AM
All I can say is wow!

08-27-2005, 02:45 PM
Thanks guys!

Today a new update: finally I've ended to construct the entrance building...an hydro structure..I added arch doors like in the HERO QUEST board game and I've builted the second ride of the dungeon, a go-kart in a sort of gothic and creep scenery, where the queue room is in a prison...are you ready to go under the ground to search the truth!?

LOL. I have thought of torture while in very long que lines during the summer in some parks. 100 degrees and standing in line with no shade...TORTURE I tell ya!

Everything looks great Tidus. Looks like this park is going to be huge. Are you going to add some scene rooms to the GOthic Karts ride?

08-27-2005, 04:36 PM
Thanks KingdaKa1, sfmmFREAK and Joe Comatose!

Maybe I'll add some objects to the other upper rooms...but I'm not sure of this...remember that there are rooms underground..good for fast rides!:D

08-29-2005, 07:28 PM
Hi! Small update today....but what a big work in doing this..

Nothing more to say, 2 thrill rides & an inverted coaster added into the dungeon complex
Here's the pics:

And this is a preview of the inverted mouse track...called Black Maze, named so for his position into a black old maze near the center of the dungeon.

Hey, it took me a while to figure out that there are three blue slides ending in that pool in the second picture.
Again looking good. Especially the master blaster looks interesting. Would like to see more of that!

Seeing the third pic, I think, you should show a picture of the whole park from above when it`s done. It might really look similar to a map from the dungeon keeper game!

09-05-2005, 07:18 PM
it looks really cool i never played the game but your park looks awesome

ive never seen that coaster...what is it?

09-06-2005, 12:32 PM
Thanks Saskro, there are so many slides in this pool, trust me...surely I'll post a "Dungeon Keeper" view of the park on the next update....

Geez, you sure know how to take a theme and run with it. :) Its cool how you realize the idea so well in your park. You just go crazy with the theme. It's awesome. As always, superbulous work.

09-08-2005, 11:16 AM
Gibdo, thanks; this park is not so difficult, but is more expensive in time for the details I put in, trying to make differents sections with similar pieces.

09-08-2005, 11:22 AM

Looks great how you've used the custom scenery objects. :)

...back to work on my pitiful park...

Dont believe the PR! We still work in the mines. We toil night and day to extract ore so that Tidus can refine it into steel for use in the Dungeon. The mine picture he is showing is only the top of the deepest mine. Tidus has sealed over the area we are working in, he is using our worn paths as a tourist attraction! As you walk over our future tombs, say a prayer. We long for death in this sunless pit....

PS: Do Not stick you arms out of the moving vehicle. That's all I did, and I have been a mine slave for three years.

Hehe I love your park Tidus. Can't wait to play in it.

Ooh, I like where you're getting your inspiration. I'm very interested to see where you go with this mine. It should look good. :)

- snowjones: Thanks! ....ehm....they works for FIAT...;)

As promised here 8 new pics of the cave complex!
I'm proud to present to you this pic, 'cause I like how it turns!
Anyway from one side is not completed and I have to build one station. After a morning of hard work...here's the new section!

The Mine ride goes under the path:

that looks a bit strange, but fantastic! great job!!

09-16-2005, 12:49 PM
Thanks...I know, but ALL this park is strange, is an experiment to build an uncommon park, like my other ones. Someone tells that is beautiful, someone says they don't like......but everyone says that is strange :D and I love reading this eeheh.

OMG thats looks awsome this park is awsome.

I cant wait to play it.

Good Work!!!

09-23-2005, 05:09 PM
Sorry if I haven't update my thread yet, but I'm busy with work. I hope to post new pics tomorrow!

09-24-2005, 09:05 PM
Tidus, this is amazing work!

09-24-2005, 11:27 PM
Tidus243 could you possiably make a lite version, and a normal version to your dungeon map. So people with lower end computers can run it?

I only have a 1400mhz amd xp with a geforce3. It runs the game fine for 1000-1500 peeps, but when the maps get really big, it starts to lag.

But its up to you. If you dont want to make a lite version i can always turn the textures down and make it look like crap :)....

09-25-2005, 03:31 AM
Thanks Beeliitz!
cdfbr, don't worry about lag. The park is not so big. Actually I'm building Dungeon sewers and finally sea around the dungeon. :D

09-25-2005, 06:08 AM

ohhh ok cool.

Not Sewers Sewers, Just underground tunnles without the poop and wastes?

09-25-2005, 08:29 AM
Ahaha...yeah, without them....but Sewers Sewers, like you said! I take inspiration from an old PsOne game called Parasite Eve....there are great sewers...! Later I'll post some pics!

09-26-2005, 04:16 PM
Ok. I'm a bit later but here's finally an update!I'm sad that I haven't so much time to play on Rct3...it's so fun!

This time I'm involved in the construction of the Dungeon sewers....I'm taking inspiration from the videogame "Parasite Eve"...I hope you like what I've done!

 Those sewers are AMAZING! It reminds me of a riverside restaraunt after-hours, except.... in a sewer!

09-27-2005, 02:37 PM
Thanks Dattu....no more replies!?

09-27-2005, 03:18 PM
Tidus, you know its 1337.

Im personaly tired of waiting for it.

I wanna play it :D not look at screenshots hehe.

09-27-2005, 06:28 PM
More wonderful goodies from Tidus. I love the low camera shots of the walkways on the water. I like what you've done with the entrace and how you treated the Dingy Slide as pipes in the sewers.

09-27-2005, 06:51 PM
IM going crazy.

I really need to play this map.!!

Not trying to rush you tidus.

But Hurry UP!!! :D

Btw, can you clear the park of all peeps at first, so it dosent take me 5 mins to load the map up :)

09-27-2005, 08:08 PM
Thanks Gibdo.
cdfbr....thanks....for the release day...I'll make the possible for his completion...and I have a lot of things to build before I release the park. I never release an incomplete work! For the peeps don't worry....:D

09-30-2005, 12:33 AM
So hows it going tidus?

09-30-2005, 12:51 AM
As said before...I'm so busy with work...I'll continue to build the park on the next week....sorry...:sour:

10-01-2005, 12:21 PM
This has been your best idea yet; wonderful sceenshots! I hope you finish soon. This could be my all time favorite park... Boy this park is one crazy maze, I bet lots of peeps will get trapped in it! LOL http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/ed/laugh.gif

10-01-2005, 12:36 PM
It's amazing clearly your best behind Vanguard.

But here's what I don't like: those straight white walls. They look so -dare I say it- unrealistic *cringe*.

I kinda forgot that pic, but I agree. Too plain! Need some more detail. Still going in the right direction of sucess! http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/lilly/hmm3grin2orange.gif

I, personally, don't like the park.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks amazingly cool but it's just not the type of park I like you know?

I DO appreciate the time it must've taken you though.

Good job.

WHY SAY NO? It's a masterpiece! Barely any parks get this good.

10-02-2005, 03:56 AM
- Imaginator: thanks. I haven't a lot of time to build it, but slowly..it will comes to the end...for the lost people...there are....information kiosk! ..and if anyone don't like the park...well, is free to post replies and tell his thoughts. My projects are strange and original..

- Kadillac: if you're referred to the white walls of the main entrance, don't worry...what you've seen is only a beta of the entrance....every time I add something new to it..so at the end...eheh...shh..can't say more!

-DisneyFREAK1178: Ok, thanks for all, and as said before...my parks are strange and original...they can't be great for everyone.

10-02-2005, 09:35 AM
Whats up buddy ......

You can't please everybody all of the time . I know how much work has gone into this one. At first I didn't like Crazyinski until I understood what was going on with that project .What I do like is the fact that your imagination just keeps rolling on , I'm sick to death of seeing those tired old flat parks with no imagination AT ALL and the Gomers here give them a 5 star rating , go figure.

Just keep up the good work , I always like the stuff you do and thats why you have your very own folder on my secondary hard drive and this one will go in there too.

BTW IDLM total for September.....250:D

10-02-2005, 06:08 PM
WOW! More more amazing screenshots. The park is turning a little bit in the wrong direction. I prefer spooky theme qwincing lines (however they are said) to give peeps more of a dungeon feel. Is it too late to change that? Keep it up! http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/icw/006.gif

10-02-2005, 10:15 PM
I love how you use slides as pipes.

10-09-2005, 09:17 AM
When will this be released? It looks awesome!

10-09-2005, 10:11 AM
I don't know when, because I don't have a lot of time but construction go ahead!

10-09-2005, 10:24 AM
It`s been a while since I looked at your park, but I can see that you keep coming up with creative and atmospheric designs. I love your sewer section. That`s so much more than just a theme park! Seeing those slides resembling pipes and your lighting I wish you`d tell another story like the Islands of the Dead - but this time in a sewer!
Great imagination!

10-16-2005, 10:53 PM
Please update! I hope it's around finsh in 2 weeks.

10-17-2005, 08:23 PM
I don't have much time....but I'll complete it...I've builted more sewer section that I haven't uploaded yet...stay tuned...and thanks!

nice update. Cool looking waterfall area, though you would probably be injured walking under that waterfall and being knocked down onto the steel path.

10-19-2005, 08:46 PM
INCREDIBLE! Very insane too! Wanna see more process later on...

10-22-2005, 06:51 PM
Thanks beelitz, AceHawkX and Imaginator.

As promised here's a new update of this section...I'm building a stone bridge (yes, is not finished yet) and I have to modify the tower and the background....

PS most probably I'll change the entrance of the park.

10-22-2005, 09:47 PM
WoW! Those briges look incredible!!!!! I did think you can add more detail on the entrance. Keep it up.
Just a little question- how much lag are you getting from this park 'cause your graphics are amazing?

10-23-2005, 10:27 AM
Thanks Imaginator. I answer fastly to your question:

- This is not the entrance of the park. You can see it on the first pics of the topic. This is just the back without any decoration...I leave them at the end.

- No lag, simply why I modify the graphic details when I take snapshots of the park... normally I play with a resolution of 1024x768 without antialiasing...I have an ATi 9600 SE 128 MB.

10-23-2005, 11:11 AM
You may be mistaken what I'm thinking and I know these new pics are at the back of the park. The pic you posted before my first post in this thread I know is the entrance. I mentioned about adding more detail to the entrance since you said [PS most probably I'll change the entrance of the park] and it looks boring compared to the rest of the park. LOOKS LIKE A PARTY THERE AT NIGHT TIME!!!!! :haha:

Anyway Tidus I have a ATI Radeon 9200 256 MB. I have the same screen resolution setting as you are on and I have Anti-Aliasying of since it ruins my screens. My screens appear just like yours! With over 1000 MB of RAM, I still get lag from parks (mainly because I keep my graphics on max) especially your Medio Evo and Crazynski park!

10-23-2005, 12:48 PM

10-24-2005, 04:13 PM
Well guys! Another update! Now the tower is more detailed and finally what I want to share with you is coming out.
This is the "ancient" dungeon, now ruined, surrounded time ago from water.

10-24-2005, 04:20 PM
Looking cool as usual.

Very nice, very creative,

10-24-2005, 05:54 PM
Incredible! That's what you were trying to build. The first time I saw that land in the middle of the water, I had no idea what you were doing. Maybe some of the park could have a monster section added to it! Maybe there could be a video of this park too after it's done or a ride video since you are getting no lag. :haha:

10-24-2005, 06:33 PM
Beautiful stuff buddy:D I wonder if anybody has the cahones to film this;)

10-24-2005, 08:04 PM
Well, thanks....

This is only the beginning of what I have in mind. Obviously I've done the central section of the park....but it can't fits in the land woth only simple walls..is not in my style and snow knows something about this.

A video...maybe someone someday...who knows!?

10-24-2005, 08:13 PM
Wow, that looks wonderful! Try varying the terrain textures a bit. Like, add in single squares of tarmac in random places to make some areas darker than others. The terrain will blend with the tarmac texture.

10-24-2005, 08:27 PM
Terrain texture is the last thing I do....don't worry about this..

10-24-2005, 10:06 PM
This is absolutely amazing! You have an great creative mind.

10-24-2005, 11:15 PM
awesome as always, I lurk all your park threads. Today Im sick tho so Im posting all over the place.

10-29-2005, 01:54 PM
Time to time....
And pics will arrive....

10-29-2005, 11:13 PM
Now that Wild! is out, I wonder if this park will have any Wild! features?

10-29-2005, 11:22 PM
mmmmmm...well I don't know.
But I think nope. I have to buy it first, and there's that custom sets problem to figure out...I think I'll finish this park without any Wild! elements.

11-02-2005, 12:03 AM
I would finish it first Tidus , you don't need the headaches I had with Wild and the custom packs . I have Wild but I'm not currently using it because I want to finish a map I already started ....and of couirse its got something from every custom set out there .

11-02-2005, 11:15 PM
Amazing work dude truly amazing = D

11-04-2005, 11:01 PM
Oh my gosh! This thread is rated 4 stars!?!?!?!? :sulk: This deserves a 5. Come on people! Barely anyone else can build this. (Sorry if I'm overreacting)

11-04-2005, 11:10 PM

Just one suggestion, change the park background. the hills back there just look kinda weird, ya know dungeon lands, grassy hills. But hey, I LOVE THIS PARK, and what is this park doin with 4 stars, I SAY 10 Stars

I agree but I can tell this park is being built in sandbox mode. I don't think sandbox mode can change the background, but you can turn the background picture off. I think it would look better without the background picture. Good sugestion anyway!

11-05-2005, 08:59 AM
Well, first of all, THANKS!!!!

The background picture, the grass, the colour of terrain, I always change them at the end. I'm focused on buildings, but I have the final concept in my mind...so don't worry...! At the end I load my sandbox park in the scenery editor and I' adjust everything....

Oh....this evening I'm posting finally new pics!

11-06-2005, 09:19 PM
36 hours have passed. I'd love to see the pics sometime.

11-07-2005, 01:07 AM
Be patient....be patient....my life isn't only Roller Coaster....I have to work sometimes eheh.....:D

11-07-2005, 05:07 PM
Well...some time has passed since the last time I update daily this thread....but finally...now...I have time...and this means, that I update again daily (or constantly) my thread...! So stay tuned...
This are only 2 pics....and the last one shows the beginning of my new section...the dungeon industry...!

a off the wall question. How much of the scenery is custom and
how much is from rct3? %wise?
95%custom 5%rct3? just a quick guess on my part.

11-07-2005, 06:42 PM
mmmmm....20% RCT3 80% Custom!!!!:D

11-07-2005, 11:05 PM
holy smokes my friend.....god forbid you have a life

Imaginator.........give Tidus some room to breathe...... not all things are RCT........What happens IF I decide to film it ?.......Ya gonna hammer me everyday for that to ?And I have my hands full of doing my own stuff.... Tidus likes making parks ....I like making films of Tidus' parks so it works.....things DO take time and he's busy....

Oh Tidus......I'm gonna do Crazyinski......but Planet Quest comes first:D

Just be patient......Did you see Isla de la Muerte......great park great vid .......not a shameless plug

Sorry for being REALLY impatient ... like I said earlier, this could be my all time favorite park and I'm excited. The updates were going really fast at the begining. I'm not expecting updates everyday, just every once a while and I spend perhaps 5% of my time on the game. I get little time to play the game. Since it has taken 2 weeks for a little update, I'll wait much longer. And if you snowjones make a video of this park, I will be impressed and I don't really care much about it and don't mind when it comes out.

I post many times on people's thread if I am very interested or those that aren't so popular.

11-19-2005, 11:02 AM

Not only LAG (yes lag) comes into my park!
Now after 2 weeks I haven't played rct3...my parks has crashed!!!!

DAMN! 2 hours destroyed by a crash...offf....
