Hey guys, I have been working on a recreation of Cinderella Castle and wanted to post some pictures of it here on the forum, but I do not know how to post pictures here. I would appreciate the help if someone could tell me how to do it. Thanks.

First, open the picture with Paint then go to File> save as> then in the drop down list under the name of the picture, select "JPEG."

Then go to www.imageshack.us and upload it.

Then, you can either use the "thumbnail" link it gives u and paste it into your post. Or you can copy the direct link and use the [IMG] tag

[ IMG]Paste link to picture here[/IMG ] (no spaces)

Hope this helps

I think you have to signup for Imageshack first, but it's free, and then you can keep track of all you images.

RCT3 saves the screenshots as giant .bmp (bitmap) files. Way too big. Convert them to .jpg first (as EBITUSA16 has stated), then upload them to ImageShack.com. The website will actually give you code to just copy and paste into your post here. That's it.

One option on these forums, is that you can use a 'Screenshot' tag
[ screenshot]http://www.imageshack.com.........xxx.jpg[/screenshot ]

I had to put the spaces in the front and back of the screenshot tag here, so the webserver wouldn't process them as real screenshot tags, but just use them when you want to post full size pictures. It resized the pics to about 640 x 480 so it doesn't take up the whole page.

Thanks for the help guys, I gave my best shot here at a recreation of Cinderella Castle. I'm not done yet because I'm still working on the back of the castle.

Great castle, bad recreation. It dosen't look much like Cinderella castle, the real thing is much more of a pointy triangle. It looks more like the Disneyland Sleeping Beauty castle, except way to tall :p.

I have copies of the blueprints and height comparisons of all the castles. It is in one of the Imagineering books. They sell for like $50 but you should look them up.

I put the freefall ride next to the castle to see it's height and it stood at about 230feet! . The castle at the Magic Kingdom in WDW's highest point is at 189 feet. I lowered my castle 30 feet to 200 feet, and am afraid that if I lower it to 189 feet, much of the work I have been doing will be lost when it is lowered below the surface. However, the castle at the Magic Kingdom was actually designed to appear 300 feet because of forced perspective -- the bricks and other details get smaller as the building gets taller. The result is a castle that appears 300 feet tall. Here's a pic of the castle, still looks gigantic compared to the inspector lol, tell me what you guys think.

K0be8, Llooks great!! Could tell how it looks better if it were in some hills or mountains, or some sort of landscape. And IMO I think the roofs always look more realistic if they are some sort of earthtone. Like brown, green, red, yellow, or something in that area.

I've seen a lot of cinderella's castles and i haven't seen a real thing yet.
RCT3 can't build this, but if you want the real thing you can download it at http://battor.77.free.fr/indexrct3/download.php?jeu=rct3&type=objets
I didn't found the page, of course:p

You be the judge. Person I like sleeping beauty castle more. Its cute and charming. Cinderella castle is tall and doesnt look friendly.

I'm gonna wait for your set to come out. That should cinch it for me, since I love tinkering with this stuff on my good days.

Just that your scenery pack Max, coupled with all the Mainstreet stuff ShyGuy is doing make the real deal much more of a reality. You two in particular are doing just incredible stuff on Disney based styles.

To K0be8 great work. I can certainly appreciate the time sweat and effort you put into making this.

That is one AWESOME castle. I don't know what the real things look like, but I can tell that an amazing amount of effort has been put into this. Well done.
