Well, I got bored the other night in my dorm, and a few hours later, out popped this ride.

Notice at the top of the volcano, the track comes out of the fire vertically. You can actually see about half of the train shooting out of the flames in these two shots.

It's a twister coaster, a little over 9,000 feet long. It's got a 9.52 excitement, something like a 8.44 intensity, and something in the 5's for naseua. It's a "first draft" so to speak, because i just built it and left it, i never fixed any querks. It's g-forces are kinda steep, so if someone wanted to mess with it, they could probably get a much higher excitement.

Anyways, the whole reason im posting this is because i really like the landscape and ride but i'm wayyyyyy to lazy to build a park around it. So anyone that sees it and likes it, lemme know and i'll send you the park. I'd love to see what some of you guys could do with this.

Also, comments are more than welcomed...i've never posted any of my stuff before so i'd love some feedback.

It may not e realistic

haha, what do you mean its not realistic? :) thanks for the feedback

It is cool, but I don't think they would make a coaster going through fire. They could, but there is not much of a chance.

Also, it looks a little intense for someone to ride.

Still cool, though!

haha, i know, i was being sarcastic. You'd never find this ride in the real world.

Nice! Very Nice!

Am i the only person who see the problem with snow ontop of a volcano?

Good job getting a high excitement but that's about all the ride is. Not realistic, no station, but good job. I have never gotten over 9 in excitement!

yah, i know the snow on top of the volcano isnt quite right, but if i do it any other way the moutain looks wierd. As far as a station...i never thought of that. Maybe i'll go build one

well that's what a real erupting volcano looks like. Pretty much all dark rock with some rubble and ash. Ash kinda looks like snow excpet it is more of a darker creamy color.

Actually, yes, you will find this ride in the real world. Volcano: The Blast Coaster is at Paramount's Kings Dominion.

(Worlds First Inverted Launch Coaster)

It is very similar and I was actually thinking that Dave was inspired by this actual ride.

The real thing is an Intamin Inverted LIM Launch Coaster. It features two launches, the first shooting you through the volcano and the second shooting you straight out the top of the volcano, upside down I might add. And as for the fire, the real thing does indeed shoot blasts of fire out the top. Only, this is done after the train has cleared the area.

If you haven't visited this park, I highly suggest it, as it has many awesome coasters, including an Air Launch Coaster (Another World's First) named HyperSonic XLC (Extreme Launch Coaster), and a completely inclosed LIM launch coaster named Flight Of Fear.

Volcanoes can have snow ontop. for example up here in Seattle, Mt Rainer is Snow all 365 days of the year, and Mt St. Helens usualy has snow, even when its erupting. It did on May 18, and it did this past October with the small eruptions.

bingo dav_for_pres. That was the coaster that inspired mine and my vertical launch. I almost used the same LIM inverted coaster to, but didnt want a replica. As far as not being realistic, i was reffering to the track shooting out of the flames.

omg, thats... well, I suppose cool in one sense but bloody frightening in another. Great job :P, wonder how many will ride it? :P.

As for the snow...
Thats a picture of Mt St Helens, notice the top?
Looks like snow to me, could be wrong, but there ya go.

(Thats to Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument Volcano Cam (http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/) for the image)

lol, notice how the top of that volcano isn't spewing fire.

about mount rainier. If it was spewing constant fire and lava out of the top, the snow near the fire would definately melt, but rainier often just erupts smoke and a little lava, because the lava and fire is so deep bellow the mountain.

But use common sense looking at this volcano. It is erupting constant FIRE out of the top, and right next to that fire there is snow. Ever notice how scientists wear very expensive high tech suits when they are near volcano fire and lava? And you think snow could take that heat?

Why criticize the snow? It's his ride, and his mountain. If he wants snow on the thing, more power to him, lol.

If some Smurfs can survive the transformation of their beloved mountain into an explosive volcano, I'm sure a little bit of snow can survive that. :haha:

I do like the steam coming out of the tunnel holes, kinda gives it a mount doom feel.

aha! someone noticed the mist :) I think im going to leave it snowcapped, because while it is flaming, its not exploding, inside the brim, its black, but the snow's gonna stay. One of the main reasons im leaving the snow is because of the mist, it wouldnt look right with the mist against a rocky backdrop.

But anways, does no one want to use this??? come on, i'd love to see what anybody could do with it
