Not a fan of the triple post :)
The ride is lacking right now, if you expect people to post you need to add the scenery in. Start with the line and work from there. If the tracks accurate you shouldn't have a problem putting scenery.
I might not be the best guy to give you advice but i think it'll help.

Testtrack isn't really a coaster dude!. It's mostly flat with a hilly section.

You've never heard it because it's a kiddy educational ride in epcot. Where you learn how cars are tested

Thats not fair
Test Track is an awsome ride. It isn't made to be a rollercoaster. Its track design is like Indiana Jones or the Dinosaur one. Its more of a theme ride and is one of the best themed rides of all times, and its for any age group not just kids.
Anywho

Why not try to add some scenery and buildings to your ride?
If it's saved then you can just add a little at a time. If you don't like what you see then you can reload and change it!
The whole idea of rct is to let your imagination run free.
It takes time and practice.
But it is very fulfilling when you get the scenery and stuff together.

Go on.........Have a go!

this is a real good start, the scenery should be simple. If u haven't already, download pumper's Steelworx, and Klinn's Frame works. Those should help a ton. the last time i was in epcot, i was 4 and i fell off a chair and cut my ear real bad. i never got to ride the test track. so if those scenery packs dont help, try someting else. might i suggest going tovodhin.com (http://www.vodhin.com) good luck, and godspeed!

Test track to me was a huge dissapointment. I can do all those in my car w/o having to pay thousands to go to Disney.

Sorry but I'm going to have to agree. Sometimes I try recreations that don't work out and make them into my own coaster. This is what the real test track looks like.

Basically my advice would be...Don't recreate rides until your a decent coaster builder. If the ride you created was themed it would be kool but the worst let down (not your fault) is rct not having the ride that test track is. Other than that good effort and looking forward to see more of your stuff:up:

I wouldn't get discouraged ult022. It takes a lot of nit-picking, and pain to get RCT3 to do things its not suppose to. I don't think you should give up just yet.

For this ride you will need to use block breaks and good timing to get it to do the things you want, and the scenery isn't to-too hard to get. You'll just need to use trial and error. Trust me, the things that you learn to build today, will improve ten fold on your later creations. So don't give up just yet.

EDIT: and test track is NOT a kids ride. The tech that its the ride is very impressive, and a "kid" really doesn't care about the importants of tests in the vehical you drive. So don't judge to harshly:p

it's boring unless your a kid or a very easily thrilled person.

I'm not saying this because I want you to do this, but if you want this thread to "disappear", you can chose "edit" on your first post, and I believe you will have an option to delete the thread.

I thought the ride wasn't bad but I wouldn't go on it more than once...:p

mostof you ppl that dont like the ride seem not to like it cos epcot and the ride is educational and i agree with baylorbear you can do taht in a car but the ride also has loads of cool stuff in it aswell.

ult022 the ride is godd if a lil inaccurate but keepit up and try to do some scenery yourself instead of trying to get others to do it for you "Practice Makes Perfect"!!

actually I thought soarin was amazing. I rode it 3 times. Mission mars was closed because a kid died on it when i went, but the dinosaur ride wasn't bad, and even the showcase was pretty cool.

Honestly, I agree. Soarin' (Over California) is one of disney's best rides. Its magical in some ways. I think its better in California, Mainly because when your on vacation in California, and you visit Disneyland Resort and ride Soarin' (Over California), Its special in someway. Hence the reason I remade the movie from it with RCT lol. Anyway Test Track is one of my favorate rides. I love it! yours looks really good. Keep it up!
