This is a thread about the new hypercoaster, Ironman at my new park, Horseshoe Lake.

I have made a video of the ride in testing. Available for download.

The file is 25 Mb

man, that video took a while to download. pretty good, i just have some concerns for the peeps. there seemed to be a lot of little dips at the bottoms of hills where it levels off and thengoes down a piece of track just to leveloff again. that seems like it would cause the gforces to be extreme. what are the stats and force result? that would shed some light on that issue. also there was no terraforming near the coaster. it was nice to see the hills around the coater but maybe you could have some smaller hills near the bottom of the track to make it seem that you were going into a valley or something. ( just a suggestion). otherwise, it was pretty great. i liked the way it peaked slowly over the taller hills. always nice to see. the length was good, not too short or long. and the song... thanks for putting that in my head again. i love it:heart: good job. . sorry for being a little negative but with proper work it good become a great ride where people would be like :

'remember that Ironman ride?'
' oh yeah that was great'
'good times,goood times'

dont know if this is the kind of feedback you wanted but its what i have to give. i enjoyed it, thanks. it was a lot better than some of the junk ive wasted my time downloading

I see what you mean, I do not know what teraforming is, because I am new to building real parks. But, I shall consider retracking ironman

I just came up with this cool idea for a either hyper or giga coaster.

No news on the layout or the theme.

im glad that you see how that would hurt. what was the force ratings?

terraforming is moving land around so that it is not flat. it makes it more pleasant to look at. i saw the mountains around the coaster but try putting them in between the track. best way to learn is to look at others, or the scenarios, they have good hills and things. that one with the WInged rat coaster in it (it was one of the first 5 scenarios, cant remember name) was a good example. you can check out my park. "the chinchillas park" some where in the exchange just look for it. I just posted so it should be near the top. i just added a log flume (near the bottom of the thread.) it has the land raised around it. look at that and then you will see what I mean. (then post how great it is because i need all the posts i can get:D :p ) good luck though.

yeah, i generally never go down agaun after a down hill section and levelled out section. It's too much air time (negative G's) especially for a hyper coaster (single lap bar).

terraforming is just making landscape altitude and shape changes, and is often done very meticulously to create realistic looking landscapes.

Didn't download the video (I got dial-up):( , but you should have the song Iron Man by Black Sabboth as the ride and video music......that is if you have the CD which I doubt, but you could buy it from like i tunes or something if you wanted to spice up the ride and video.:)

Sorry. No pics, no clicks. I don't want to have to download something from rapidshare without knowing what it is, because you can only download a maximum amount in an hour.

Sorry.

Sorry too, no pics, no clicks...that's a good philosophy, don't matter if the project sounds nice, we need pics!!

seriously, if you won't download a vid because of that reason, you're just lazy or don't care enough about other peoples projects. I like videos without pictures. It always keeps you guessing and on your toes throughout the ride.

I'm not lazy. At least me, rapidshare doesn't permit to download vids too many times, and some of them take so long to download and pics are the way to wonder about download it or not. All the vids I've seen are just perfect.
We are just asking for pics, that's all.

I agree with AcehawkX, not too many to dowload at one given time so you might as well download this, it wont hurt to see what it is and give some feedback. take a plunge.
