Devil's Tower: Space port on top of the tower is your staring point. Complete marketing, financial, rating, and coaster objectives.

Tree Tops Sanctuary: Primate Sanctuary needs to meet goals of releasing healthy chimps to the wild as well as bringing in funds through increasing the guest count and park ratings.

Monumental Valley: Can you build a Wild West attraction that even the Duke would be proud of? Meet requirements for horse attraction, guests in park, ratings, and coaster requirements.

S.M.E.R.S.H Lair: What do you do with a hollowed out volcano after the forces of evil have been defeated? Objectives include guest numbers, park ratings, coaster requirements and financial goals.

Lost Seas: A lost cotenant is a big find for park builders with vision. Objectives include coaster excitement and positive g ratings as well as number of guests in the park, park ratings, and financial objectives.

Bob’s Big Fun Park: Small classic amusement park wants to become a major attraction.

Camp Carousel: Fox Amusements grew out of his small old fashioned park, what can you do with a small park on a large plot of land?

If you find any serious errors please let me know. I think I found all the problems and I have played each scenario, some more than once, and I know they can be won but there may be problems I missed.

Have fun!

Wow!! That first pic has got to be one of my top pics I have seen for this game. Amazing since of architecture. And the hill it sits on really adds to it's charcter. I also like the hills in the background. I can't wait to see where this is going;)

fantastic design and architecture. Only problem is that i don't think living trees would be growing out of a very very steep rock cliff. Especially not apple or yellow trees.

Am i the only person not doing a halloween park!? :p

Thanks folks,

Not to worry Soda, due to "Admiring the View" there is no way I can put this scenario up for download before a patch or, other things, are out which puts it in November at the earliest. Tests already show peeps get stuck in the castle admiring it.

I am trying to create a series of scenarios for once hopefully around 10 to 12 of them.

Edit: Like a moron I posted this to the wrong thread first... DOH!

I think I am going to call the scenario Fantom Valley after the Fantom Mansion that I built in my first sandbox park. Thanks to being able to save scenery with the tracks now I have installed it in this spooky setting since the park it was originally in is so big and laggy I doubt anyone ever really got to ride the cam on this dark ride.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv3.jpg

The exterior of Fantom Mansion. This took me forever to build when I created it! I was still very new to custom structures and this was my first one that wasn't basically just a big box. Considering the size and complexity of things I take on now this seems small and easy however it was a real bear for me at the time.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv4.jpg

The first version of Fantom Mansion was built with RCT3 original scenery items but as you can see by the black walls it was later updated with thanks to Pumper and Marnetmar.

Lately I only have time on weekends. That castle has been posted on the forums before in this thread (http://ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=483537&highlight=architecture+thread) I decided to use it finally I actually built it months ago.

I can make pretty fast progress on scenario maps since they do not have to be complete parks just a layout with room to expand with the objectives.

I also have learned most of the tricks that make building a lot easier and faster so I can get more done in less time than I used to.

I am 1/3 of the way through this project. I am working on 12 to 14 scenarios and including the Rock Ridge scenario I am up to 5 that are complete are near completion. Here are the 3 lateset.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv9.jpg

Coasterville is an unfinished park with the objective being to complete the park and achieve park rating and guest number goals.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv11.jpg

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv12.jpg

Forrest Hills is a run down and badly neglected park that needs your help. The objective is to clean up the park and bring back the guests and high park ratings.

Just so you know this project was not cancled just on hold until all the custom scenery used in each scenario works with Wild.

I may get it up for download for non wild users before that if I don't use any Wild! content in any of the incomplete scenarios. None of the scenarios completed so far have Wild content.

Thanks!

Taking a break from the large park again and working on some of these. Thanks to Shyguy's Expo pack the space map is now finished.

Another idea I had planned some time ago that is now possible thanks to Shyguy's Expo pack and thanks to Jonwil for updating Pumper's Blox!

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv40.jpg
I am still messing around with what the objecties on this one will be but I am going for a sort of rain forrest look and the Tree Tops Resturant is the entrance building to the park.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv41.jpg
Shyguy's Expo pack made it possible to do this cantilevered dining area and make it more convincing.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv42.jpg

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv43.jpg

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv44.jpg
The supports are what kept this from being done earlier, how do you support that large of a cantilever and not have it seem as if it would just fall into the forest? The theory is inside that concrete support are the tension cables much like on a suspended bridge they are anchored into the rock and up and over the support tower which is reinforced by the steel work.

I am on the ninth map out of twelve now so maybe two to three weeks? I still need to set up all the objectives on three of them and test them then the first nine will be finished. I am working two jobs so Monday - Thursday I rarely do anything at all in RCT3. I have some plans this weekend that will cut my time short too and I need to wrap up my large park project first so that is out of the way but I think I can finish the first nine this weekend so it will just leave the last three. I pretty much know what I am going to do for the last three too so it will just be a matter of making them all the ideas are ready to go.

So far I have:
Fear Valley
Rock Ridge
Lake Shore
Winter Carnival
Coasterville
Forrest through the Trees
Devil's Tower
Tree Tops

The last three are
Monumental Vally
S.M.E.R.S.H Lair
and Lost Seas

I will probably also stuff reworked versions of my first two scenarios in as well just as a bonus. Those are already finsished I just plan to do some map enhancements. I guess that would make fourteen total but only 12 are new.

Once these are done I will probably start another set while I work on updates to all my existing parks.

I don't plan to do any more large parks for a few months they are just darn hard to finish with lag and running out of ideas...

Thanks for your interest!

Update on the progress: I have been working every day and evening this week so there hasn't been a lot of time to work on these projects but in the time I have had I have tested more of the scenarios that are complete. 11 of the 12 are built and I have tested 8 of the finished scenarios and made any necesary adjustments.

This is taking a lot longer than I wanted it to but I end up working more hours than I plan every week and have too many things coming up on the weekends so there ends up being less time left over for playing RCT3 than I expect to have.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv50.jpg
Looking across Monumental Valley. This shot was taken during testing of the scenario you start off with just the railroad a few stalls and an empty animal enclosure.

Can you picture John Wayne riding out of this landscape?

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv54.jpg
This is a Wild! scenario but it isnt heavy on the animals, just horses.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv55.jpg
Having some fun with the western theme I made the circues into Bronco Billy's.

More shots of this scenario.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv57.jpg
I ended up turning this into a primate sanctuary and so far it was my favorite one to play. Here are some shots durring the test.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv58.jpg
Other than the included scenarios in Wild! I hadn't done anything with animal attracitons until this scenerio so I spent some time figuring out how KiDFoX would do a Wild! park. I ended up dressing up the enclosures a bit.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv59.jpg
This is an interior of one of the structures on the way into the animal park

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv60.jpg
The exterior of the same building.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv61.jpg
I thought canoes worked best for a ride on the lake

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv62.jpg
I think it really looks like a zoo

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv63.jpg
Dressing up veiwing platforms on the Gorillia enclosure

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv64.jpg
I built a small cafe in the Gorilla enclosure building also it is just off to the left.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv65.jpg
Gorillas in the Midst....

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv66.jpg

All the major structures in these shots are already in the scenario. There are no rides placed except for some elevators.

I ended jup liking this park so much I think I am going to continue to build a full animal park out of it once I am done with the rest of the scenarios I was having too much fun building this one and I had to force myself to stop and leave somthing for the players to build.

http://www.kidfox.net/fai/images/fv/fv72.jpg

This one proved to be a bit tricky when tested however I decided not to simplify it at all. There was a way to solve it I just took the wrong approach the first four times.

Edit: By the way all 12 maps are finished I just need to test the last one, maybe tonight, and then I can have this up for download... up for down load... hmmm. I have shots of the Lost Seas scenario but I am not going to post unless I get a reply becaue I don't wan't to become the criminal triple poster.

I will post these on my website and link here as soon as the last one is tested. I have two others that I will be reposting as well so there will be a total of 14 scnearios to start with. That should keep folks who like to play scenarios busy for awhile.

Thanks for the comments. It's kind of fun to build scenarios because I can try some ideas that just don't fit in my theme parks like hollowed out volcanos or space ports on top of an alien devils tower or...

Lost Seas

The inspiration came from these paintings

Since I got wild I have wanted to build a really big pyramid but haven't had any place to put on in a park. Now I have a place.

I will try to get this one tested tonight. I need to fix some minor things on a few of them and then they will all be ready to download. I am sure I will have them ready by Friday and likely sooner.

Great job KidFox!! I am having a blast looking at these scenarios! I have started on Forrest through the tress and i am on entrepauner(sp?), I think. But anways it is really fun and enjoyable. A lot of these are a bit challenging, like the raceaway park, since you have no money! But can you use a loan on that one, though? Any ways, GREAT JOB!!
