Attention: Vodhin's Neon Tribute is the last custom scenery set that is going to be included in this list. From now on, I will update the list in this thread (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=525061), which is much better organised and easier to use.

I have downloaded some other small sets, all of them but one by Park Novice. For completeness's sake, here they are:

&pagenumber=1); all of them were created by Park Novice.

All of the above have been updated by jonwil (except for PNP_TMUL_Scenery.exe and Spinball_Chrome_Edition.zip, which were already compatible with Wild!) in this thread (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=507799).

Here is the rest of the custom scenery sets not mentioned by jonwil in his first post. I will try to keep this list updated, unless, of course, jonwil decides to update his.

Expedition Everest (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=517796) - note: some people, including me, have trouble with the custom scenery set found in the park download, so make sure you download the custom scenery only (second link), as it seems to be working, with the exception of the mountain, which doesn't work anyway, as Disfan1 states in this post (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=7583343#post7583343).

By Lulujarre:
Chateau Magique v2 (set 2) (http://n.weiss.free.fr/uor/v4/index.php?file=Download&op=description&dl_id=277) - even though this is version 2 of Chateau Magique, Lulujarre has left both versions for downloading from the main page of "Virtual-Coaster"; however, due to problems dealing with the large castle experienced by some people, including myself and Lulujarre, he has a new version uploaded in the link provided above (at "Univers Of Rct3"), which contains only the other two versions of the castle. "Virtual-Coaster" has still the old version of Chateau Magique v2 (set 2), that is, with a third large version of the castle. Some of you may be able to use Virtual-Coaster's version, since at least one (wabigbear) can (see post n. 93 of this thread to understand).

[Edit: I have decided to make another addition to this list: the new threads where the updated versions of scenery sets mentioned by jonwil are found. This list includes the Wild! compatible versions in cases when following the link provided by jonwil leads to an outdated version of the set. If jonwil mentions that a set has been updated and that set is not found on this list, that means that the link provided by jonwil leads to the updated version.]

Jonwil, if there is no notice next to the set, does that mean that they work with Wild! or that you haven't tested them yet to see if they are compatible? I would appreciate your reply.

jonwil

no notice means they dont have the particular issue thats causing so many sets to be broken with Wild!.

I havent tested them to see if they do actually work so they could be broken for other reasons (although I doubt it though)

I have found at this page (http://www.rct-world.com/forum/topic9224.html) that Eviron has also made another custom object (Quidditch-Ring v.1.0). Even though I don't know what "Quidditch" means (and that site doesn't help, since I don't speak German), I think it should be mentioned here.

Unfortunately, there was also a file titled Bball.exe made for Bballdude by Park Novice found at:

http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=6945231#post6945231)

but the download link no longer works.

I don't know whether Park Novice will eventually include them in a bigger set, but, until then, this is how one can obtain them.

[EDIT: In case anyone downloaded these objects, I'd like to say that they are not compatible with Wild!]

Those are included in the Alton Tower pack ;)

I know a lot of people have made a list already and all work is done over and over again, but here a list in Excel, with:

- Maker
- Name of the set in-game
- Amount of objects in the set
- Problems with the objects
- Link to download the object

Object list (http://members.chello.nl/g.aarts4/Objects.xls)

You can download the list with the link above! I made it in Excel, so that you can sort the list in several ways without using a database :) And because I use macro's to get everything done as fast as possible :)

You can do with the list whatever you want, but be sure you look, some objects not mentioned on the forum are listed!

I'm not sure which set you're talking about Theme Parker, but I'd guess this set hasn't been updated with the latest version of Jonwil's importer program & that's what's causing the "No sid for svd" error.

thanks for the advise, but i actually meant for the computer itself,

the card is an ATI9600 256mb

heres what happend.... after playing RCT3 my desktop changes to 800x600...then as usual i went to switch it back to the settings i like

i used the ATI control center(right click - set desktop area too..) to turn my desktop settings back to 1024x768 but i stupidly pressed the next one down lol which was 848xsomething

and the ATI card saves its settings for some reason and the VGA mode not supported message is just shows on a black background, the computer makes no attempt to correct itself.

at the moment i have to use the intel card built in as my monitor doesnt support the current settings that i set on the ATI card...

im just wondering how to change it back with a black screen lol as soon as the card is put in my comp i get the message and the blackscreen. so i dont see a way around it lol...thanks again guys

Bccmiddlewicket, you need to boot into safe mode, change the resolution and then restart. Depending on your machine it's probably the F8 key to get to the boot options on starting - try that first and then if that's not it F5 or others.

How do you post on here if you have a black screen?

I wish there was Theme Parker, but in order to update the sets for Wild, you need the ase, texture files, etc. & only the original creators would have those.

Theme Parker
12-01-2005, 05:13 AM
Yeah if they still have them though. Who knows a good program to attach those cutten out textures on objects, the program I use doesn't want to do that easily and can't find out how it has to be done, walking already through 5 help files without getting any further :(

Were it not for Magnum, I wouldn't have noticed Disfan1's Haunted Mansion set either. Thanks again to RCT-Spanky and Theme Parker who have helped us find out about some less famous sets.

By the way, does anyone know of any other park or scenario download that contains custom scenery created for that particular park and not available as a separate set?

Theme Parker
12-20-2005, 05:46 AM
Well it is not possible to add custom scenery to a park and then let people download the park so they get the custom scenery, while the custom scenery isn't saved. When someone puts up such a park and you download it, the place of the custom scenery (if you haven't downloaded it) will stay empty :)

apet08
12-20-2005, 08:04 AM
I know, but I was referring to custom scenery that is bundled together with a park download, like Disfan1's Haunted Mansion park (you can only get his scenery sets if you download his park, because they are included in the same zipped file). My question is whether there are other parks like that; that is, archive files that contain both the park and the custom scenery specifically created for that park, which (custom scenery) is not available as a separate download elsewhere.

great site spanky!! i am currently re installing all custom scenery after a break from RCT3 (i have all expansions too) , the site u have is very useful..

i was wondering tho...all the links take you too the 1st page of the custom scenery thread which is great...but do the links all contain the original download? or has a Mod editied the original download link to the set?

main reason i ask is because im sure certain people are updating sets as the creators seems to have vanished, but when they update them do they update the original download thread? or make another thread with the updated download on it?

i know park novice hasnt been around since probably october but his set says that it works with wild but 1 object does not, but then again im sure i saw a full updated version somewhere? lol

ok enough for now ive confused myself , i hope u get the idea/question

thanks again for the list tho....still installing a few but all of em work so far except the air monolith in PN's Alton Towers 3:up:

Spanky, you know you should really turn the version icons on the right into download links. That would make it even easier to download the files. Just a suggestion, it's not like your hosting the download links, your just making links. If you think thats a good idea, talk to each person and ask permission, i'd allow it straight off.

Good idea.

to bring both together, i will add an additional link to the bottoms, where you can download the current version of the themes. The first link will turn you to the first site of the tread (if there exist one), because I found it very useful to read the treads for helpful hints. But i will think it over.

yep bring both together , good job,

just be clear as to where the Wild! updated version is...alot of your links contain the original download file that doesnt work with wild..(only for creators that have vanished and some nice guy updated them for us, you then need that d/l link instead of the original)

i have over the last 2 days downloaded and installed all the custom scenery on your website and i have some figures for ya lol

total scenery = 45 packs
total scenery i have currently working = 40
total scenery i have never got to work with wild = 3 (Toons,American western,Safari, no idea why just never worked)
total scenery with errors = 2 ..feens letters (both sets i get the no handler error, but still work in windowed mode after clicking ok to the error popup) klinns electro building set, i get a no svd for :sid error and no idea where to find the simple zip file instead of the .exe programme to install

total scenery packs with errors , still might be my tiredness when installed as they work but with an error message lol (still checking the 2 cause i have had them work before, not sure what im doing wrong as one is a auto install file)

i can create a full list of which work , which dont and which im having problems with if you wish

hope this helps

Now I followed the instructions to download & extract the files to the themed folder & still nothing...installing steelworx was much easier as the download featured an auto extract file but from what I read in the forums regarding the mainstreet packs by ShyGuy users have to pay extra for that version with the auto extractor that's included in the download.

I am a little confused here. Was it two or three sizes that you got in the end? I have downloaded this set again just for sure, and there still is a problem with the large castle. Anyway, I registered in Virtual-Coaster and notified Lulujarre of the problem I had and he (or she?) said afterwards that he was having the same problem and that he would make another copy available, without the large castle. He hasn't done so up to now. Maybe if more people can use it, I can tell Lulujarre about it (or you can!). By the way, I have tested it in Sandbox mode.

The exe had three files in the one I downloaded...chateau magique lulujarre set 2, chateau magique lulujarre set 2 large, and chateau magique lulujarre set 2 petit. Two of them were the same large castle, and one was the small version of it. I was able to use all three in a test sandbox test park...

The small one is really nice I thought. Hope this helps, thanks apet08 for working to get everything straightened out.

Ok, am I missing someting here -- I cant get the Haunted Mansion Sets to work at all. I'll PM Disfan, but I was wondering in the meantime, if anyone else ever had a problem. It says it's updated for Wild, but no matter which scenery object icon I get ready to move my mouse over, the game likes up with the No Sid errror. I have all Wild/Soaked all patched, and so far have not run in to any scenery problems. Seeing of course, I know where scenery folders go (obviously ;) ) I can't imagine what else it could be.

It works for me JCat, but I remember I had to play around with it and his tables to get them into the game, if I remember correctly, there's an extra folder...

Ah, yes, I did notice that but thought it was ovl-related but yeah, the folders are 3 deep so I'll fix 'em.

Thanks for your reply, Wagi.

Is the "Disneyfan1 tables and blinds" and the "America wild west" Wild Compatable. I downloaded it to "Style/Themes" of the RCT3 Files and I get the Sid:vid something like that. I have got other files working that did the same thing by moving files around but I am having problems with these. :bulb:

This list is up-to-date, although a little bit difficult to go through. I have tried to put a link to a forum thread, when possible, so that any new download links can be easily found. I'm not 100% sure you will always get a working link (though I believe you will), but to my knowledge there is not a single piece of custom scenery that is not included in this list. Of course, you will have to go to both your first post and mine to find everything, including the sets updated for Wild.

However, there are a couple of excellent sites which are more user-friendly. Hilander has given the link to one of them; another one that I can think of is RCT-Spanky's site, the link to which can be found a few posts above.

Why is this unstickied? This always helped me find the packs released all those months ago that otherwise it would take me hours of searching to find. I hope this gets restickied or a new thread with all the material here is stickied so it's still easy to find.

There is a new updated one, that's why this one was unstuck. Try the link below:
