dumb question but for some reasion i cant get this to work..
i made a test theme its a wall and when i go to place it i have to hold down shift and rase it up so that the top is not level with the ground. i went into the importer and messed with the x,y,z pos. of the object but it doesnt seem to change anything.

any help is great
thx

It sounds like you might need to raise the model up in your modeling program. Is it all the way down in the ground when you place it, or just 1/2 way down?

The walls I've made in Milkshape show up 1/2 way in the ground when setting the position at 0-0-0 in the importer, so I use a 1-1-1 setting & they are just fine that way in the game.

its all the way down in the ground all you can see it the top of it, its still in the ground all the way even if i change its possion to 500,500,500 and if i move it up in my modeler it downsnt make it move up either

I'm not familiar with Blender, but I know with Milkshape you have to rotate the model sideways to align properly in the game.
You might try moving the model in whatever direction would be "up" in the game in your modeling program & see if that helps.

I use rhino 3d pro and save the file as .3ds and convert it with biturn, ive tried to move it in all diffrent directions in rhino but doesnt seem to make a differance where i put it, the top of the object is still level with the ground. if you want to try to see what im saying you can get a copy of rhino at rhino3d.com there is like a 60 day trial.

That's really weird, it should move the model in-game if you move it in the modeling program. Changing the position settings in the importer didn't help either?

i tried changing it in the modeling program and in the importer i started with 0,0,0 all the way to 500,500,500 i could send you the ase file if you want to try it
