I searched the forums here, not much help because people just like saying Steelworx randomly so there's like 4 pages of threads.
I used the automatic installer, it's where it's supposed to be, but it's not in my game! Where are the items supposed to show up? I can't find mention of that anywhere?
Do I need to install something else first to make them useful?
I'm a total noob at custom scenery and just want better supports!

I have no new wall sections :(

edit: I'm retarded, I forgot that I would need to INVENT the walls, since I was using a scenario.

Use the Sandbox mode if you want to see everthing at once.

I'm having my own problems using the supports on the B&M's.

My invert looks great with the supports but my floorless turned out to be anything but great....the loop supports just don't line up right & in some spots the lift supports are a bit off as well.

I'm stuck using the hyper supports(for the lift) seeing as there aren't any designed specifically for the B&M loopers & the small loop supports which don't seem to line up in the center at all(as the ride uses a small loop) so I think I'll just stick to only the inverted supports/catwalks & just have to deal with the crappy ones RCT3 generates as the custom ones just make it look worse.

Chrisps, The supports pack was made to work with as many of the steel coaster types as possible, but not all of the supports will align with every track in every situation. I haven't used them much myself, but perhaps someone that has will be of more help to give you some tips to get them aligned better.

how to use steel works by kylr23:p

cat walks
inorder to get them perfect you will need to first do the loest part dont start at the top. ok once done rase the cat walk by presing shift (as if you didnt know)just rase it untill you see it perfesct lala u got a cat walk

other steel:
if it dont line up corectly inore it or on the other hand add more to the ame sapport

where is it?
if you have gold look out go to local disck/programs/atari/rct3 with logo then style/theamed and it should be there put it in the other one (the not marked one:p ) presto it should be in generic scenery

Maybe it's your graphics settings or graphics card. Try adjusting the graphics settings in the RCT3 settings menu, hopefully that will help! :D

Sorry, but this forum is the biggest noob-fest I've ever seen. It seems every other post is "omg wy dosny my stuf wrk?!?"

When I got steelworx, I just read the instructions that were on the website, and what do you know, IT WORKED.

right i'm gonna explain this once and for all you open the steelworx download and press run it will come up with an unzipping program you then unzip it to your desktop then you extract all the files from it then you open my computer>local disc.c>program files>atari>rct3 or rct3 platinum if that is what you have>style>themed>and then you save it there and thats all there is to it.

oh and by the way when i acses the steelworx a messege pops up saying no svd for sid so i click ok and the computer starts saying rct3 has stopped working can anyone help me please???????????

^Dude, he asked that in 2005. Check the dates.

And you didn't install it right if your getting that message.

i want to download steelworx very badly the only thing is i dont know how is it free??????

KingVeveraine

It is free, like the other hundreads of sets of custom scenery, because the creator (in this instance, jonwill), made the set for entertainment value. It's a sortof unwritten rule that CS must never be paid for and steelworx is no exception.
