View Full Version : Importer questions size / re coloring / lighting

First thing I need to figure out is how to size an object I imported one object than it was to small so I made it a lot bigger in the ed modeler still small in the game. (I think I need to change something in the importer)

Second how do you make an object recoverable I am using a texture of plan blue 225 and selecting one cooler changeable in the importer what do need to do deferent?

Third how do you make an object light up?

You'll have to increase the size in your modeling program to make it bigger. There's nothing in the importer to resize the model

In the importer program folder, there's a rct3imp text file that has information about the importer & also about making recolorable textures

Third how do you make an object light up?

I'm not sure on that, you have to add some information in the "effect points" area of the importer.

Does any body know how big an object in anim8or should be to be a perfect cube (x=# Y=# Z=#) because it seams that as big as I make the object it is still really small in the game any idea what is causing this.

why do you use ani8or....it's not a very good program.....and you juat have to keep experimenting. If i could suggest a better program: Blender......do agoogle search for it and try it out. or you can just resize in blender it's a lot easier to resize and model in blender than anim8or IMO.

The resin I used anim8or was basically 1. It was better than what I was using 2. It hade a good reputation over a long time (wanted to make sure I didnít get something that was corrupt (viruses, spy war extra)) 3. I thought I have seen people on these forums use it successfully before. 4. It was free

How is blender have you had any problems with it (viruses spy ware ectra)

Does the rot need to have a texture to make the model recolorable?
