I was wondering if you can use Blender to create custom scenery.

I'm not familiar with Blender, but as long as it'll export the model as a 3ds or obj file format, which I think it does. You should be able to use it to make stuff for RCT3.

Does the RCT3 Tool only import .ase files? I know that .obj were mentioned.

Yes, Jonwil's importer only imports ase files. You can convert obj files with Biturn to ase format. There's a link in my sig "RCT3 Mod Tools" will take you to a page with the Biturn link. When you get to the Biturn page, scroll down the page a little & you'll see it.

Do you mean in Blender? If so I can't answer that one since I don't use it.

I think I'm very glad I opened this thread. I have downloaded Blender and am trying to start modeling. I'm currently building a simple person from a wikipedia tutorial. Now just for the rest....
