Well with Nintendoland in construction i have decided to start my own scenery set after i have got 3ds. my friend has it and will be letting me use it.

So in this thread as i go along i will maybe start a Nintendo pack so people can use it how they like.

Anyway now to read the like 500 page thread on the scenery importer.

At first i will just try with making a few simple boxes then i will see where i go from there.

p.s. Can anyone give me a link to whatever else i will need to make scenery.

All i can think of at the moment is jonwills importer and 3ds.

you will need a converter if you can't export in .ASE format.....I use biturn converter......just google it and you'll find a link.

Nintendo scenery sounds awesome....will you be making like marios and big controllers and stuff?

will you be making like marios and big controllers and stuff?

Yup hopefully, first i will probably start off with sort of wall objects but who knows what the future will bring.

I plan to be making a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Stop on mainstreet and have sort of tables with ds' on sort of bringing the idea they are playing the games :D

First thing i will be making custom scenery for is my main street museum which will be starting soon over in my thread.

As i move through the zones i will be needing more and more scenery so expect a load of scenery. Hopefully :P

Sounds interesting, I forgot who else started some Nintendo custom scenery, but I don't think they've continued with it. Can't wait to see what you come up with:up:

Sounds good StayingDead, you can click on the RCT3 Mod Tools link in my sig to get the latest version of Jonwil's importer & also the link to the Biturn file converter is listed on that page.

your using 3d studio, so all you need is the importer,
one word of warning though, what you see in 3d studio is not WYSIWYG in rct3, you will have to experiment a bit, but dont let that put you off, the rewards of seeing your creation in rct are worth it.
