12-02-2005, 09:30 PM
wow! that is a ton of gunpowder!

12-02-2005, 11:02 PM
you whipped this up pretty fast Dean, good work lots of people will appreciate it

12-03-2005, 02:46 PM
Moved to Mixmaster Displays, where it should be.

12-05-2005, 04:03 AM
Urhm .. it's clearly not a show

12-05-2005, 02:54 PM
Yeah, but the fireworks effects will be used in a show.

12-06-2005, 06:27 PM
It won't let me download it!!!!!

12-08-2005, 09:47 PM
I'm totally confused
I downloaded rar and registered for the site and it still gives me errors. And is the 11th pack working or not? maybe i just joined at the wrong time. If someone could help me it'd be great.
It still treats me like i'm not a member and doesn't give me the files. If not can someone give me a link to an old pack because all i don't need that many. I did find the old ones and it says for non members it expired and for it doesn't even exist for members.

Dont waste your time with this. after you install it it wont let you open any sandboxes. The only way to get your game to work is to sort out every single firework from the soaked (around 90 and under KB's) and the non soaked (over 90 kb's). Like i did. But after you do sort it out. It kills your game lag is incresed at least double.

After I downloaded it, I couldn't load any parks, please fix this.

Dean's working on it. I think.]

He said that his HD crashed so he needed to take all the fireworks off of the downloads section, but the Soaked fireworks weren't separated from the others.

12-24-2005, 09:34 PM
I separated them! Jeeze what part of that dont you understand. Dean isnt doing anything. It took me 25 mins. And my game works now.

12-26-2005, 10:44 AM
How can you tell the difference between the fireworks?
And how would this fix it?
Please enlighten me

12-26-2005, 03:15 PM
The Fireworks that are pre-soaked are 90+kbs and the post soaked fireworks are 90 and under kb's.

12-26-2005, 06:59 PM
So what would you do with them once their sorted into different folders?
Delete the soaked ones?
And this really works to give you most of the fireworks?
Please enlighten me yet again

12-26-2005, 07:18 PM
What I did was, I Cut all of the firework files into there own folder and i called it rct fireworks and pasted all of the fireworks into that folder. Then I deleted all of the soaked fireworks out of that. There are like 180 soaked firework opposed to like 1000 pre soaked so delete the soaked. Then as soon as all of the soake firepwrls are out, copy/paste the non soaked fireworks back into the origional firework folder and your good to go. It shouldnt take more than 20 minutes.

12-27-2005, 03:30 AM
Couldn't i just delete them out of the folder it installs to. It might be easier than doing all that copying and pasting. I'll try it tomarrow though
Thanks again

there is a new fixed version uploaded to RCTPyro here (http://www.rctpyro.com/forums/ods/index.php?act=viewfile&id=106). that should work fine, but im not 100% sure, as i have not downloaded it.

12-27-2005, 10:47 PM
Finally. I was playing rct a week ago with my own fix. (i dont feel good lol sorry if ive sounded like an @$$)

12-30-2005, 11:51 PM
It worked and took as you said 20 minutes. anyone who wants this pack should just sort them into another folder like Kpeek said. Now i have easily over 1000 great fireworks
Thanks again

12-31-2005, 11:56 PM
Happy to help!

01-02-2006, 11:02 AM

The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated.

EDIT from general discussion:

']This ISN'T Spam

Hey guys - just to let you know about RCTPyro's down time.
This is my host's side error - all efforts are being made to bring RP back to life- but all emails have gone unanswered.

Updates as they arrive.

01-20-2006, 04:07 PM
If anyone has the Fireworks pack, could they please post it somewhere until RCTPyro is operational again... I would like to obtain them please :)

Even if someone would just copy their fireworks directory into a ZIP or RAR and post them I'd be grateful if you don't still have the pack itself

Please? It only take a sec or 2...

01-21-2006, 02:44 PM
Gosh what's with Rctpyro's downtime?!

01-21-2006, 08:31 PM
well, the downtime I have no problem with - thing happen in people lives, and this is only a game :)

unfornately, when great tools are only kept in one place, unless others are willing to help out in a crisis then others miss out :(

I do hope Dean is ok, and that whatever is going on will resolve itself for the better soon, but until then... I'll keep trying to get my hands on the tools ;)

error 404: File not found
The document you requested is not found.

I got this error but installed the set on the other thread. :D

01-22-2006, 04:32 PM
Imaginator...The set I have a link to still has the same problem as pack 10. You'll still need to remove the post soaked fireworks after install. (All those are less than 90k)

Dean, if you see this and want me to remove your pack, just let me know. Or you can add me as a mirror site for you too if you need one.

01-22-2006, 07:56 PM
Yeah, that error applies for me to the entire website.

Here is an easy way to sort out the files instead of having to go through over 1,000 unsorted fireworks:

I just sorted out the pre Soaked! and post Soaked! fireworks. I found a much easier way to remove the post Soaked! fireworks!

1. Create a folder for the post Soaked! fireworks in My documents.
2. Open up the C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster TycoonŽ 3\Fireworks folder.
3. Under the "Views" tab, apply "Details".
4. Make sure the "Size" detail is applied.
5. Left click and hold down to highlight all the files that have a size under 90 KB it lists organized from greatest size to least or least to greatest size.
6. Quickly "Cut" and "Paste" all the post Soaked! fireworks into the folder to keep them.

rctpyro is died ???

02-09-2006, 08:38 AM
no it isn't, check in the general forum there's a thread about this

02-13-2006, 01:17 AM
rctpyro.com is back up - thank you for your patience through this downtime. to tell you the truth, we were all starting to wonder about the future of that site.

02-13-2006, 08:34 PM
Its not dean's fault that this lags the game. Its a problem with the game base, so please stop blaming dean.

Until frontier gets on the lag issues stuff will continue to lag in the game base.

02-13-2006, 09:40 PM
Yeah, the park causes my game to lag up some. Good thing that this great website is back up! :D

02-14-2006, 12:53 AM
^^ and ^ - did someone complain about lag? Who's blaming Dean? (Loads the' shotgun *click-click* - reading through, I can't find it...) Only lag I get is the amount of fireworks - with over 1000 loading up takes longer (as it processes that directory - you see the diff big time from 29 to 1100) but I've never had lag issues (besides general RCT can't do more than 3FPS at night - but we ALL have that issue! LOL!) :D

10-21-2008, 09:59 PM
I know this is an old topic, but could someone send me this through email? It just tells me I don't have permission to download it from the site. I also heard you need to have at least 30 posts but it won't let me post either. Thanks.

10-26-2008, 01:32 PM
you don't need 30 posts anymore.

10-29-2008, 12:32 PM
I would have to say that the fireworks are amazing and i like them a lot.
