These deliver three whole helpings of kick awesome, dude!

http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/2576/coolstuff6gp.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

But I do have some irks... they are a wee bit small and have collision detection.

But they're still a mile better than the trees in-game. Man, those suck! But your's rock!

I have a problem, I'm afraid, which is maybe due to my Windows settings concerning languages. First of all, the file I've downloaded is titled "I rbol Nevado Snowy Tree.rar", whereas I suppose it should have been "I Árbol Nevado Snowy Tree.rar", probably because of the accent on letter A. Secondly, when I open the archive with ZipGenius 5.5, the two files which should be named "I Árbol Nevado.common.ovl" and "I Árbol Nevado.unique.ovl" are named "I μrbol Nevado.common.ovl" and "I μrbol Nevado.unique.ovl" respectively (that's the Greek letter for m, maybe because I also use the Greek alphabet in my Windows as well); moreover, all four files show "I μrbol Nevado (Snowy Tree)\" as their parent folder (instead of I Árbol Nevado (Snowy Tree)\).

When I extract the files, however, they are shown correctly on my computer (with the letter "Á"), so, maybe, nothing wrong happens during the extraction. But this is where the problem begins. When I put everything in my Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon® 3\Style\Themed folder, that is, the folder titled "I Árbol Nevado (Snowy Tree)" (which contains the two usual files, "style.common.ovl" and "style.unique.ovl", plus a subfolder named "I Eletigna Creations" with the files "I Árbol Nevado.common.ovl" and "I Árbol Nevado.unique.ovl"), the game does not see the custom tree (nor does it crash). If, however, I change the name of the folder "I Árbol Nevado (Snowy Tree)" to "I Arbol Nevado (Snowy Tree)" (replacing the letter Á with a simple A), the game does find the tree, but yields the all too familiar message "No :svd for :sid", and the title of the window for this message is "I Arbol Nevado:sid" (that is, the letter A without the accent).

I know this is very technical and forgive me for being so descriptive (and boring), but, if anyone knows what I should do, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi again!

marnetmar thanks for add the download link and for your comments ;)

But I do have some irks... they are a wee bit small and have collision detection.

Your_Name_Here good screenshot. Size have easy solution: To edit it again in MilkShape and as for the collision I used the sid (BBPineTree03) because it seemed to me the most appropriate and for that it´s have collision  . Perhaps do a new version where I fixe it (I might name it Big Snowy Tree for example).

When I extract the files, however, they are shown correctly on my computer (with the letter "Á"), so, maybe, nothing wrong happens during the extraction. But this is where the problem begins. When I put everything in my Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon® 3\Style\Themed folder, that is, the folder titled "I Árbol Nevado (Snowy Tree)" (which contains the two usual files, "style.common.ovl" and "style.unique.ovl", plus a subfolder named "I Eletigna Creations" with the files "I Árbol Nevado.common.ovl" and "I Árbol Nevado.unique.ovl"), the game does not see the custom tree (nor does it crash). apet08 looks for the (snowy tree) in the section of trees in the game. You Don´t change the name of the folder because it´s crash the game.

I am useful to say to you that I already have ready the next item of my Eletigna Creations: Metallic fence for Ride.

See you.

My mistake for not seeing the tree before. I can find it now without having to change the name of any file. I still get the error message, however, and my game crashes. Are you sure it is compatible with Wild? Does anyone else have a problem using this tree?

I have sent a PM to Eletigna concerning this, but he hasn't replied yet. In it I explain why I couldn't get it to work on my computer and what I had to change. Since you are from Korea, blings, I think you will find it interesting.

This is part of my PM:

"I am sorry to bother you, but I would really like to notify you on the reasons your sets do not work on my computer and how I have finally managed to make them work, but in a way that is a bit problematic for me.

If you remember, I have posted in both your threads concerning your custom sets. As you may have understood from my posts there, I am Greek. As a result, I have accustomed my Windows XP to make them work with Greek applications as well, as far as the Greek alphabet is concerned. The main change is a setting in my Control Panel of Windows XP: if you go to 'Regional and Language Options' ( maybe something like 'Opciones regionales y de idiomas' in a Spanish version of Windows XP), then go to the Advanced tab, there is a setting for 'Language for non-Unicode programs'. I understand that the majority of the users on this forum would have chosen English or French or German or Spanish, or, in any case, any European language that uses the Latin alphabet. There are some of us, however, who use are own alphabet (I would expect Russians would use the Cyrillic alphabet), because that allows us to read what some programs for Windows say in our language (and alphabet). It turns out that RCT3 is one of those applications that is are 'non-Unicode programs', since the Spanish letters of your sets (Valla Metálica, I Dragón Rojo and Árbol Nevado) are the reasons my computer could not load them. I have found out that if I change the setting for 'Language for non-Unicode programs' to English, I am able to play the game with your sets.

However, if I do that, I am not able to use my computer for many other applications that use the Greek alphabet. I suppose that people with the Russian alphabet will have the same problem. While I can always switch between Greek and English, I have to restart my computer each time, which is a bit tiring.

Therefore, I am sending you this message for two reasons. First of all, to inform you on why I had that problem (and how I solved it) and, secondly, to suggest (and this is merely a suggestion, I don't know how much work is needed for that, or whether you have the time or the will to do it) that you change, if it possible, the name of your files, so that they do not use the 'acento' over some letters. If you could do that, I would be very grateful - and I'm sure others who do not use the Latin alphabet as well. I have downloaded all the French custom sets and, while they use French letters INSIDE the game, the names of their files use the standard English letters only, and that is why I hadn't had any problems with custom scenery before your excellent work."

--END OF PRIVATE MESSAGE--

I hope you are able to enjoy Eletigna's work, although it would be much easier for us poor souls who don't use the Latin alphabet if the creators used nothing but the standard Latin letters without any accents.

On a side-note, if Frontier ever decides to create a custom scenery creator, I think that this issue should be addressed.

I hope that helps.

I love the fence in this pack! It's just like a regular in-game fence, and it conforms to the edges of the terrain! That's awesome! And the tree and the dragon are lovely, too!

Just get Powerarchiver (www.powerarchiver.com) It's a free d/l & will open zip/rar files. You just extract them like a zip file.
