View Full Version : Custom Theme - Jurassic

12-21-2005, 06:27 AM
Jurassic Park

The Plan

To create a brand new theme to co exist with the themes already included within the game.

Pack 1 will consist of brand new concrete walls, 1h, 2h and 3h with diagonal and curved variations. It will also contain brand new tarmaq and concrete paving. It will contain a few special wall sections for my park.

The textures will be set, i.e. not colourable. However, that should change in Pack2, when i will expand Pack1. The aim of Pack1 is to release content that is Generic for all themes, rather than focusing on Jurassic.

Future Packs

I have a long list of what i want to make, but i'm trying to prioritise them at the momment and releasing the more generic ones first. I have a fair idea on how i want to shape this project, and each pack will consist of about 2-3 weeks work. I will disappear from time to time, unfortunatly thats just how my life is, i tend to be off for a month with a few days notice, so do not dispair and do not lock the topic if i do disappear mods ;)

For the near future i hope to get Pack 1 finished by January. I will need some testers to try out the alpha version, so put your name on a stamp addressed postcard. Pack 2 will expand on Pack 1 offering more complex terrian, colourable textures and a few unique walls. Pack 3 will offer more unique walls and a fair few objects.

The Progress

-Create 1h Drywall with fence (http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/8020/jurassicref013bn.jpg)
-Create drainage for tarmaq floor (http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4553/jurassicref025ya.jpg)
-Create Jurassic Park Gate (http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6492/jurassicref049ma.jpg)

The Park

I will also be creating a linked park devoted to the this Theme. I will hope to try and create a park fitting the Jurassic Park films. Whether or not i accomplish my aim is another question. But you can see my progress below in the screenshots.

Very very cool!:D

12-21-2005, 06:38 AM
Happy to see that you opened a new thread for this exciting project. I'm already in eager anticipation for this one...

(And Guybrush... Al Bundy is a legend... More than that: He is probably what all men eventually turn in to... I hope!...)

12-21-2005, 08:35 AM
If someone could be so kind, could they pm me with a link to every Jurassic themed object in Wild. I haven't bought it yet, and would like to know whats inside for reference.

12-21-2005, 09:28 AM
Good to see this set is back on track, I could really use those concrete walls!

As for those Jurassic themed objects, what exactly do you mean? All it contains is still or animated dinosaurs, along with a few rocks, bushes, trees and a few miscellaneous items (such as torches which can be used as lamps).

12-21-2005, 09:35 AM
Well i'd like to just see what the items are like, for example, if i make a bin and it's more or less a replication of the one in wild. I'd be a bit miffed :P

So just for the safe side, it would be handy knowing what they look like.

As far as the concrete walls go; I've done a fair amount of work on these, and with the diagonal walls they are really versatile. However, if i wanted to include the diagonal walls in Pack1 it would put me back a week or two, due to some frustrating errors i'm getting with them. But i will include a door and also a tunnel variation. Allowing for smooth transition from exterrior to tunnel.

12-21-2005, 09:47 AM
hey, those walls in the pics look great. but i see one "problem"... will there be a filler piece for the corners? it would look nicer, in my opinion, if there wasn't a gap between the wall and the terrain. ;)
this project sounds great, cant wait until the release

To Do:

-All Floor Tiles

It's on my to do list. I do have an answer for that, i was condering making a quarter tile floor, which will enable people to have a little more control over the buildings they make, as they could put a line of floor on half the tile, and bushes/trees on the other half.

I'll also make a whole floor tile, to make it a little quicker if you have a large space to fill.

I was also considering, what would you guys prefer more? A Tarmaq/pavement style floor. Or a concrete block floor? Your decision, but i'm making them tonight... so be quick :D

oh, ok then. thanks;)
i think a concrete block floor would be better, since there is already a pavement style floor in mainstreet 2.

12-21-2005, 03:15 PM
The concrete flooring would be very nice! Great work on this Guybrush_47!

12-21-2005, 04:55 PM
Posted 3 updated shots of Pack1. All with fixed floors and a few alterations. I've nearly completed the flooring, tommorow i'll finish by fixing a few issues and sorting out the correct placement positioning.

Then i'll get to work creating the natural riverbank.

(See Post1 on Page1)

textures on all models are temporary, and will probably be replaced soon.

12-21-2005, 07:57 PM
Nice see you back on the forum.

As for the scenery it looks great I can think of many uses for it I cant wait to see more.

12-21-2005, 11:13 PM
Wow! I wish I could do that! I'll download that theme as soon as it comes out! Someday I'll repay all you guys for all the help/custom scenery I've got from you, but right now my installer/uploader/johnwill/what ever it's called isn't working.

12-21-2005, 11:32 PM
Wow, great work on the theme!

Think about what it's gonna be like when it's released. It'll be awesome. I'm gonna download it right when it comes out. I'm still getting started with these custom downloads, so I need as many as possible, especially the good ones.

12-22-2005, 02:03 PM
This look amazing

12-22-2005, 03:01 PM
wow, thats looking great. patiently waiting for a download...;)

12-23-2005, 07:33 AM
Right, i'm off for my Christmas holiday, i'll do a little work during the holiday. Be back for New Year, have a great christmas y'all, and a happy new year.

12-23-2005, 09:21 AM
hi again heres the link for a olfd thread btw

12-27-2005, 01:25 PM
cant wait for these, especially the cliffsides. Cliffs never looked that great in the game, no matter how you blend the textures.

And the walls! very cool.

One request - can you make them 'ignore' collision detection? This way you can place them anywhere you want, and not just where the game 'lets' you. Several of the custom sets (like the mainstreet sets) have no collision detection set, which makes them wonderful to work with, and super versatile.

01-03-2006, 05:55 AM
Ok, i'm back from my holiday, which i slept in my bed and sofa as i had the flu all goddamn christmas. I have made a little progress, and i've scraped more or less all of the above models.

I wasn't happy with the lighting, which was extremely buggy, and the walls themselves were difficult and time consuming to place down, and were also very hard to use with existing content.

So.... i've reshaped the idea and movement of pack1. What i've done instead is create 1h/2h/3h walls, straight, corner, diagonal, curved walls. Which are complete.

I've also created a new tarmaq floor. Now i realise that Shyguy has made a lovely tarmaq floor, but i've got a few new tricks up my sleeve with this floor. It was also needed for the new walls as you would get large gaps showing.

I'm creating a concrete verge for the tarmaq, this verge is a drainage system and can be seen in the jurassic park in universal. You'll be able to place the verge on all of the tiles, making for some far more realistic rustic paving. Picture Reference : http://home.comcast.net/~tjou/photos/orlando-jurassic.jpg

I'm also in the middle of creating a stoney wall with a fence ontop of it, which will again be diagonal/curved. I may also add in the wall without the fence. Picture Reference : http://www.ioacentral.com/pictures/jurassic_park/area/jurassic_park_area_one.jpg

I have been experimenting with the cliff and dirt walls, but they require some very good textures, which i'm in the middle of making.

The aim for Pack1 is to release a pack which will allow you to build some realistic looking pathing exterriors and release a host of new concrete walls for generic use. Pack2 will focus on creating some far more complex concrete walls, releasing tunnel pieces, doors, windows, piping.

01-03-2006, 06:42 AM
Good luck with this, I can tell it's going to be fantastic, especially was you're introducing pieces that have never been tried before! Can't wait for a release!

01-03-2006, 05:41 PM
What happened to the building you made a while back?

01-03-2006, 06:08 PM
This is one of the most eagerly anticipated CSWIPs for 2006... At least as far as I'm concerned.

All your ideas sound wonderful, Guybrush... Keep it up!

Note: (CSWIP = Custom Scenery Work In Progress... if anyone didn't get that...)

01-03-2006, 06:16 PM
the building i made a while back has been scrapped for the time being... however it is on my to do list, that will happen about pack3. I'm trying to replicate iaocentrals jurassic park section. So anything you witness in that park will hopefully make an appearance in my packs.

I'm hoping jonwil figures out how to do custom pathing soon, that would help me alot. Either way i'll release some updated shots by the weekend.

01-03-2006, 06:40 PM
I'm glad to see that this project is back on track!

01-04-2006, 07:03 PM

Heres a few pictures of my progress since i've been away.

This is a test wall to see what the dirt wall could look like, i'd like to hear alot of critism about this picture. I want to try and get it looking as good as possible, and to make it good requires critism that i may have missed.

(I know the textures aren't alligned)

This is the start of the final walls and concrete for Pack1. These are completely compatible with all RCT3 content. As you can see, you can create some pretty realistic looking pathing areas, which will hopefully improve as i make my ideas into a reality. It's also showing off an improved concrete wall texture, which you can't really see from that distance. The concrete itself needs to be messed about a little bit to get it tileless, at the momment it's just seamless.

This week i'm finishing off the 2h/3h concrete walls and fixing a few bugs. Once thats done, i'll create a tunnel tile compatible with 3h walls. Then i'll proceed on with my paving ideas.

I have also created a test cliff tile, and a test drain tile, both looked pretty good, but need changing a hella lot to get to the correct quality i'm looking for.

01-04-2006, 07:21 PM
interesting set. WOuld be great to see this finished!

01-04-2006, 08:27 PM
FANTASTIC! and for critizism, um, well, could you make a at that sor of, eh rolls over the sides, oh nvm, It looks GREAT!

01-04-2006, 08:29 PM
Oooh ooh I have an idea! Make a half buried jeep in the ground, sort of like a dinosaur just smashed it straight into the ground.

01-04-2006, 11:40 PM
Oooh ooh I have an idea! Make a half buried jeep in the ground, sort of like a dinosaur just smashed it straight into the ground.

Yeah! With the whole front end like, well smashed...sounds cool:D

01-05-2006, 02:34 AM
Hard to criticize this. It looks great so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

01-05-2006, 02:38 AM
Great work Guybrush, and about those dirt walls: PERFECT! I could really use those. Keep it up!

01-05-2006, 05:10 AM
Do the top and bottom edges of the rock walls line up when you stack them? Also, the textures look a bit stretched in places. Other than that.. awesome!

01-05-2006, 05:16 AM
Morning everyone.

Composerboy: The textures weren't alligned properly, it was only a test tile to see what the textures and the model looked like ingame. I've got a few things to look at and improve before i'm happy with the general look. Its meant to be a stand alone wall, so at the momment you can't place them ontop of one another. However, that could easily change if you guys would like. At the momment i'm in the testing phase.

Froggee: Nice idea, i've thought of a few variations in jeeps, but not one half buried, sounds interesting. I'll add it to the list.

01-05-2006, 05:51 AM
Cool. I'd definitely love to be able to stack them!

01-05-2006, 06:01 AM
If thats the case, then a bit of redesigning would be in order. I'd have construct them in the same way as i've done with my concrete walls.

i.e. you have a plain wall, then a special edge wall.

What i'd like to do is mix the dirt walls with the cliff walls to make a little more varied terrian.

An idea i had with the cliffs was that you'd have 'cliff' walls and then 'cliff' objects to put ontop.

01-05-2006, 06:23 AM
That would be cool to use in a tall, narrow walk-through canyon I have planned. Maybe with a little overhang on the cliff top piece? :)

EDIT: What would be even COOLER is if you made 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 walls that were different but stacked flush, so that you could mix and match to make the wall look a lot less symmetrical!

01-05-2006, 06:26 AM
That could work, guess i've got some experimenting to do ;)

Updated first post to give a better idea on what to expect for pack1.

01-05-2006, 06:56 AM
Awesome. And what are the chances that we have the same join date? CrAzY!

01-05-2006, 07:03 AM
Obviousally a great month :D

01-05-2006, 09:32 AM
I love that dirt wall I will use that everywhere! Also great work with the concrete floor, I think it will blend well with Shyguys’ paving.

For the diagonal pieces, will you be including walls or 3h too?

01-05-2006, 09:36 AM
*bangs head on table* I started a little rock wall like yours (but much worse) before I realised you had made one. If you don't want me to release I'll understand. I might not even release anyways, it's my first and it's pretty rubbish.

01-05-2006, 10:00 AM
live_the_thrill: Well i could be really mean and release the pieces i need for my park. But i'm a good guy, and every wall i create (1h concrete--> 3h concrete, dryrock, dirt, cliff etc) i will give the same variations which are: Straight, Straight Corner, Angled Corner, Angled End, Diagonal and Curved Corner.

Froggee: Variation is everything in a game like this :)

01-05-2006, 10:09 AM
You are a nice guy!

01-05-2006, 11:26 PM
Im really looking forward to seing this project completed. Ill be queueing for it thats for sure ;)

01-06-2006, 06:08 AM
All looks brilliant, especially that wall of stones! What about textured concrete that is used for driveways (like false stone) instead of tarmac?

01-06-2006, 06:59 AM
I need tarmac for my park. As far as other floors go, it's all about the texture. The models are done, if wanted i could make 3-4 different types of flooring. It's just creating a seamless/tileless texture.

Updated the 'done' section of the first post with direct links to finished work. I'll keep updating the thread as i progress.

01-06-2006, 11:19 AM
Wonderful work Guybush_47! I was wondering if some of the ingame land textures (like the random stone and concrete ones) could be used for floor texture? The reason I ask is that you could then use ground texture in areas where there would be no peep traffic, place any path type where you want them to travel, then cover the path with floor pieces to match the land texture and hiding the path. Not sure if that makes sense or fits in with your plans or not. Reguardless, you work on this is progessing really nicely!

01-07-2006, 10:22 AM
Here is something you might want to add:

In most parks, a small lip at the edge of the path does the separation between vegetation and paths. I think it would be a nice feature if you added those lips to a new path piece (labelled corner piece or something).

Like this:

____/-\ that small triangle shape would be the lip.

01-07-2006, 01:10 PM
here's a texture to use for walls.
http://img349.imageshack.us/img349/3046/backgroundsnaturalrocks3tw.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

01-07-2006, 01:52 PM
thats a good texture. are you making scenery for the inside of the buldings, like the flashing red lights and the pipes?

01-07-2006, 02:05 PM

Am I allowed to use that rock texture? If I am allowed, please tell me, thanks!

01-07-2006, 04:37 PM
Wow Guybrush_47 that looks great so far. I can't wait for the release.

01-07-2006, 05:51 PM
Anyone can use the texture. It's part of my old set of repeating textures. If you set it up right, it makes a perfect seamless piece.

01-08-2006, 06:28 AM
Small update time.

Now that i've created the concrete walls, i'm being able to make a few more interesting walls to spruce up the place. I might be able to produce a screenshot tonight, if not tommorow showing my progress.

I'm trying to split up the workload of buildings/objects so i don't get bored and disgruntled by the amount of walls i have to do :P

I'm also creating a fair few textures that will aid me, the rockwall texture is a little **** to make, but it's looking very nice. It's my new policy that i will only ever show ingame screenshots, as it gives me a kick up the arse to get them physically ingame :D

To answer some questions:

wabigbear:Unfortunatly we haven't been able to export the rct3 textures from the game. So to make them, i'd have to try and replicate the textures, which would be very difficult. I understand your annoyance, because i too get frustrated when building parks about it. Which is one of the reasons why i'm trying to create some floor models to solve this problem for my park. Basically the way i see this pack shaping up, it will be more like a basic generic park add on. Enabling you too make realistic looking pathing and buildings. I can't wait for jonwil to finally figure out custom pathing/queue lines, thats when you'll see alot of new ideas coming through from the likes of shyguy, myself, mart etc.

live_the_thrill: I'm not creating a lip, but i am creating a drainage wall that looks alot like that small picture. To get an idea of what i'm making, goto the first post and look under the progress section, i've hyperlinked a shot of the drain for a general idea of what it will look like.

computertech82: Well, at the momment i've created about 10 textures ready for this pack, all are scratch made, and have so far been pretty time consuming. The problem i'm finding with the textures, is that alot of the time you need to make them perfect to get them seaming properly. If you check out the tarmaq shot, you'll see the errors in that texture. Something that i will eventually get round to fixing.

01-08-2006, 07:27 AM
Actually, if you want to get the standard ground textures, go download the RCT3 dumper from http://www.sebar.net/jonwil/ and open the stuff in the terrain folder (there will be 2 different things to open), the textures will appear in the folder where the dumper is located and you can mess with them from there (edit them or whatever you want to do)

You can use this to dump most textures from the game (the only ovls it cant read are the ovls for the wild animals including the elephant transport)

01-08-2006, 08:14 AM
Well i never knew that. Fountain of all knowledge :)

01-08-2006, 12:33 PM
Well, if you need textures, i have a few. I don't happen to know what size is needed for the retangle walls. I even have ground pieces. They are all seamless.

Update Time:

For the last few days i've been slaving away building something impressive looking to go hand in hand with my concrete walls. Well it's time to show you my progress.

Theres still ALOT to fix with this model, the lighting issues, some texturing issues, and it's missing the inside walls. I've also got to make the roof metalic, add some lights on the front above the arch, and make a nice security camera object to put ontop. But, here is the mighty 6h tunnel entrance. Some of you may recognise it from the River Adventure ride.

I've got to build the angelled roof pieces that will be a further 9h. But at the momment, i'm wanting to get this 3x1 group perfect. It still needs a little more work doing to it. But it's close. Eventually it will have colourable roof and walls. But for Pack1, it will come as it is.

Please remember, this isn't a final product. This piece is probably at the alpha stage at the momment, but i wanted to show you guys the progress :)

01-09-2006, 02:40 PM
Wow! *clap, clap, clap* That looks really really great, I can't wait to use those things in my own pakr. And I also want to thank you for your help and support with my own project

01-09-2006, 02:42 PM
         :10sur10:

ah, the power of the smiley

01-09-2006, 05:23 PM
I agree...outstanding work!

01-09-2006, 05:45 PM
Looks great! If ya want to make the roof metallic then jsut set it to SIRelflection, but you probably knew that anyway. Good luck!

To be TRUELY honest, I think you should just go ahead and make it recolourable. It is not hard 1 bit to do it. Just get your existing texture and add the ACT file. Then while importing the texture back in make sure to select "one colour choice"

01-09-2006, 08:38 PM
i have to say, excellent work on this set guy brush
its looks amazing, and the short dirt walls will add a huge touch to realism alone
i can't wait to see where you go next with this set
hopefully some of the buildings will come into play, i loved the architecutre from the movies, and they are something that you just can't get quite right in RCT3, like most things, but most things can squeek by
keep up the great work! and can't wait to see more!

01-09-2006, 11:35 PM
WOW! I am really looking forward to this set...sooooo incredibly versatile! Amazing!

01-10-2006, 04:36 AM
Well i think the video cameras alone will make a huge difference to a park. These little babies will act as viewing stands allowing you to see a pov shot from the camera. I would love to design a proper gui to go with the camera, but i'm not sure if thats possible. Either way, you'll be able to have som nice high shots using the cameras and will also give a bit of realism in parks. To go along with the cameras, i'll also make some electrical equipment to represent the park control room, but also able to mock a rollercoaster control room (any pictures of this would be handy).

For the next two days i'm concentrating on getting this tunnel entrance bugfree. Once i've done that, i'll progress onto making a few concrete doors, and the two trims which need redoing.

Pack1 has changed a fair bit. I want to push the release date closer to the end of January. So to achieve that, i will be making Pack1 the concrete pack.
I'll be adding 1/2/3h concrete, 2 sets of 1h trims (see pics in post 1) and also a brand new 1/2/3h glass frame. I'll also be including as many special object models as i can make. To fill it up and make it look less empty.

Pack2 will be the nature/pathing pack. This will consist of the cliffs/dirt/drywall/drain and a fair few new shrubs and possibly some trees.

I'll post updates when i get some more nice stuff ingame :)

I'm chuffed you all like my work. Thank you all for hte kind comments.

01-10-2006, 05:25 AM
the cameras sound like a fantastic idea looking forward to this pack

01-10-2006, 06:48 AM
"few new shrubs and possibly some trees."??? Fantastic!!! The camera idea sounds totally cool as well, I'm really looking forward to that one!

01-10-2006, 07:01 AM
The problem i've been having with the shrubs and trees in RCT3, is that you can't really create a very good jungley appearance as you can't layer the vegetation. I also HATE the way all the shrubs are huge, they need to be scaled back to make them look more subtle imo. Otherwise it becomes a mass of leaves.

It's a personal annoyance of mine, which i will remedy. In time :)

01-10-2006, 09:04 AM
I you ask me you should make trees as they are already in game. Just look at the model and you'll see that it is made up of 5-6 paper thin walls with the alpha set on them. The ferns were probably made with a round cover and alphe settings. It means icnredibly low poly but incredibly good looking shrubs and trees  :)

01-10-2006, 09:18 AM
Believe me, having spent roughly 50 hours doing vegetation for nwn, i know how to make em ;)

The criss cross method is only a good method if your staring at the trees from one direction, as soon as you start moving the camera, they look 2d.

You've got to have a blend of 3d modelling for some of the main trunk and a system of criss cross and triangles. Not to mention hella good textures. You can't really create a jungle when you can only place one tree on a tile at once can you. I'm thinking about having various leafy shrubs to put as a layer on the ground, having a large tree to be put as a full tile, and a smaller tree to be placed as a quarter tile.

The only problem i can see is that the fps will rapidly drop pretty quickly if you fill the scene with vegetation. But thats the end users problem, i'm just giving you guys the chance to use it.

For example, who out there would appreciate some kind of bush that could go over a 3h wall? Thats something i could do. If wanted, a climbing shrub like Example1 (http://donahuesgreenhouse.com/pics/02Shrub-and-flowers-Blue-house.jpg) and Example2 (http://www.salisbury.edu/arboretum/Aristol/ArDu/photos/ArDuSL01.JPG)

01-10-2006, 09:28 AM
Oh that sounds really cool! :)

01-10-2006, 10:45 AM
Either of those would be sweet! That's something that would be great to have.

Guybrush_47, is it possible to make some Ivy-like foliage that could be placed on a wall?

When I saw how shyguy did his windows and some of his trim in his Main Street 2 pack - as the extruded colored parts of an 'invisiable' wall - I wondered if Ivy could be done the same, thus the plant part would stick out slightly on any kind of wall you want to use. Not sure if that makes sense or not how I described it...obviously I'm not an object designer like you are, so I don't know what you have planned.

01-10-2006, 11:02 AM
The way i was going to create it, was have a fair bit of the 'ivy' as transparent, that way you could see bits of the wall underneath it, like in reality. If it was just a single opaque texture it wouldn't look too good.

That way you should be able to use it all over the park. Against concrete walls, or up wooden trelaces. This would be a fair bit away, it's just something i'd like to do, whether or not i will get round to it is another question. But it is on my list.

01-10-2006, 02:03 PM
Sounds fantastic whenever it shows up! Thanks, this stuff is very much appreciated!

01-10-2006, 02:40 PM
Guybrush_47 with the last update ( and by the way it is outstanding) does this mean that pack 1 is close to being released???????????????

Great work and can hardly wait but sure is worth the wait!!

01-11-2006, 01:44 AM
Wow, that latest pic blew me away...whew, nice job...btw, are you going to relese your original building that you made?:)

01-11-2006, 04:25 AM
The original building will be remade for Pack 3... ish. If i get that far down. I had a look at the models a few days ago, and they're all very high poly and messy looking. So i'd need to redo them.

As far as polys go, all my models will be relatively low, meaning you all should have very good fps.

01-11-2006, 08:28 AM
Its amazing!

01-13-2006, 04:36 AM
Guybrush, what a great idea... If you are able (and I'd say that you are probably more than able, by the way your scenery looks...) I think it would be great if you made all kinds of plants, trees and bushes... Some wallclimbers, some bougainvillea, some ivy, some (diagonal...?) flower beds, some new hedges, some willow trees... what ever you can come up with...
This set seems to become an essential addition to RCT3... Great work!

Will there be any new dinosaurs included? I know that dinosaurs are present in the Prehistoric theme shipped with the Wild X-Pack, but I'd like to see raptors (without trees) and maybe even a Spinosaurus (http://www.caspercollege.edu/tate/faq_25.htm).

For example, who out there would appreciate some kind of bush that could go over a 3h wall?

That is genius! Pure fricking genius!

01-15-2006, 08:36 AM
Well at the momment the aim is to deffiantly get alot of scenery ingame without creating any of the dinosaurs. The reason being that we have no idea how to animate them yet.

Having said that, i don't really know how much time i have available to do this project. For a number of personal and work reasons. So i'm trying to get done as much as i can. What i want is to be able to recreate River Adventure (Florida) as good as possible. So anything you see in that ride, will hopefully be in the pack.

I do also want to create some other stuff from Adventure Island, i love the main building for example, and would ideally love to create it with full interrior decoration.

I'm tending to part away from content from the films, and more concentrating on content from the park.

I will have some updated pictures to show you soon, but i've been having a break and watching all of Galactica, somehow i managed to watch from the pilot all the way upto season 2 episode 12 in about a week. Never watched it before until last weekend, and i got hooked. So i've done no work on this project, i am fixing the tunnel as we speak.

01-16-2006, 12:12 AM
Well, that's okay. Original dinosaurs would be a lot of work to create.

I look forward to seeing those new images. Good luck, and keep up the suberb work.

01-16-2006, 10:00 AM
Okay, i've been playing around with the water rides trying to reconstruct River Adventure. Now i'm having serious problems here, and i'm wondering if i can mess with some of the code for it to work.

I want to use the water coaster, but the coaster cannot cruise through flat areas, i've tried putting down chainlift, but it makes the ride SO jerky. Is there anyway of applying the 'chainlift' command to all the pieces, allowing it to move on the flat?

The log flumes do this, as do the rapids and the water rides, but just not this coaster.

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciiated. As far as news is concerned. I'm going great guns, i've drawn up the plan for the River Adventure station, including the Outfitters building. However, having never been to IOA, nor America for that matter. I'm guessing alot with layouts etc.

I've used Google Earth and managed to get a very nice zoomed birdseye view of the whole park.

Now looking at this picture, the large round roof, is the entrance to river adventure, i assume the entrance path proceeds north into those bunch of trees? Or does it pass to the left along that small corridor and then into the main station room?

I've drawn up my proposed layout of outfitters, this is completely made up, as the pictures i've found on the internet only show 1 side of the shop. But i don't really know where the queue line goes for the entrance of river adventure. If someone could draw some arrows on the picture to show where it goes. I'd be grateful!

As far as the concrete goes, i've fixed the tunnel entrance. I'm just adding some lights too it, and it will be finished. I then need to extend upwards, and finish the rest of the tower. Once thats done, i've got the basics done. I'll need to add some special stuff in like some doors.

01-16-2006, 10:02 AM
The pic doesn't work, I can only see a cross :(

Edit: When I click it I can see it :)

01-16-2006, 10:28 AM
Outfitters List:

-Interrior Walls
-Interrior Door
-Plasma Tv
-Shoe/Clothing Rack (http://img61.imageshack.us/img61/8099/jurassicoutfitters043og.jpg)
-Small Merchandise Box
-Small Merchandise Shelf
-Tree Merchandise (Large tree with merchandise spread around it on a table)
-Interrior Lights (Wall/Ceiling)
-Bamboo Ceiling Rafters
-Ceiling with sprinkler piping.
-Payment Desk (Circular) - Useable Shop
-Order Desk (Square) - Just for Looks.

I've thought about how to create merchandise, and believe me, it's very difficult. However, i've come up with a very clever idea. Say you want a Teddy Bear shop. You would use my Small Merchandise Box, which would be place as a quarter square. When you place it down, it will be empty. So all you have to do is select the teddy bear model and place it ontop. By doing this, you can place any item you wish ontop making it any kind of shop.

It would be 1h, allowing any user in the community to add more merchandise. The shelves themselves will of course by recolourable, allowing you all to have different paint schemes inside. This will be my next Pack, as i think it will be the pack that EVERYONE will love and use.

The idea with the bamboo ceiling rafters, is to hide the ceiling sprinklers. You could create different ceiling rafters for different themes. For example, for a spooky shop, you could have cobwebs instead. Or for a Science Fiction, you could replace it with a Space ceiling, with stars etc.

Any ideas/requests ask now. This will be made for my scenery, but will be useable in any other pack and will match perfectly. I will be creating all the Jurassic style theme, but anyone scenery creators can obviousally add more content on.

I won't be making shop windows, as you don't get any in IOA JP. But again, you can easily use the windows already made by the community and those ingame. I'm trying to remain foccused on Pack1 for now, but it is very hard :P

New Update

So the last thing i need to do with this 3x1 group is to create the lights at the front (the two grey boxes). I'll leave that for now and carry on doing a few more extra bits.

Next on my to do list is this:

01-16-2006, 03:43 PM
Guybrush, if you ask me, I reccomend getting all models done, without worrying about the importer, and then import everything. It beats fiddlign around with the importer every 5 objects or so.

Also did you see my psot where I said you should jsut go ahead and make them recolourable, cos all you have to do is add an act file to the bmp and then while importing select "1 colour choice" for the texture.

01-16-2006, 04:12 PM
The thing i've found, is that i've had huge problems with lighting/shadow errors in the model. I've had to remodel the entrance twice now to get it working properly ingame.

As far as the recolourable walls go, i can do that at any time. I'm just concentrating on getting these ingame first with the original textures. Once thats done, i'll do the icons and tweak the textures, making them recolourable for example.

That entrance tunnel is about 10 hours work, tweaking the damn thing and getting it working. My desk has dents in it due to my anger ;)

[EDIT] Well it's taken me about an hour to get this ingame, (Much better than 10 :P)

Pretty pleased by the model, i think the door texture needs a little tweaking, and i think the door itself needs to be a little bit higher. But it's looking good now.

hmm imageshack is down dammit.

01-16-2006, 06:57 PM
Your work is truly appreciated, Guybrush... I just played four hours with Shyguys' MS#3 and soon this is coming, and Iceatcs is working on LOTR, and Marnetmars' Egypt theme, and... Who needs another expansion pack?

And if you need a new desk... I work at IKEA... (unfortunately I live in Sweden...)

01-16-2006, 08:50 PM
this all looks great can't wait to get the first pack keep up the good work

01-17-2006, 03:34 AM
Okay so heres the screenshot from last night:

Mad Man
01-17-2006, 04:57 AM
I love the scenery Guybrush_47, it looks brilliant. Have youm got any idea of when it will be released.

01-17-2006, 05:16 AM
It's getting closer. I'd imagine end of the month Pack 1 will be ready.

Believe me, it's no small pack either. I've named it the 'Concrete Pack', i've got a fair few features in the pack, i'm going to need to create some concrete stairs for the station which will run parrallel to the track. I also need to redo the 1h wall trim, the ones i have at the momment are for the old set. Which i abandoned a few weeks ago to make a better more flexible set. Tonight, i'll be making:

Concrete Security Door (http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8940/jpconcretedoor014vx.jpg)
Concrete Gate (Square) (http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/7071/jpconcretedoor022dv.jpg)
Concrete Security Door & Security Window (http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/7003/jpconcretedoor031tc.jpg)

To make River Adventure effectively, i'm also going to need to create a Steel Pack, to make the railings, fences, pens etc. I don't know when i'll do that, sooner rather than later.

01-17-2006, 12:09 PM
I think you just photoshopped that last pic from an actual shot from Universal Studios and are trying to pass it off as an RCT3 screenshot! :D

01-17-2006, 06:05 PM
Hey great job on the scenery cant wait to download it.
is this pack gonna include a park with the ride in it?
i also got an idea you could make an alarm light that flashes. :D :10sur10:

01-17-2006, 06:10 PM
This set is looking amazing I cant wait to down download this set I have so many ideas for it. As an idea for the door in the last screen shot maybe you can give us two versions one closed like shown in the picture and one open.

01-17-2006, 06:10 PM
CoasterMaker: At the momment it will just be the concrete pack, but i am designing the whole of adventure islands jurassic park section in Florida.

Shyguy: Don't reveal my tricksy ways!

CoasterSim: I'm hoping when someone finds out how to make triggered scenery (ala avalanche/boulder) i will make the doors open through a quick animation. I will make an open variation, as i need it for River Adventure for transition to the inside section :)

As a side note, as far as attention to detail goes. I won't be making a big issue to it atm. But when it comes to updating the pack once released. I will be adding small details found in the Ride. For example addition of small lights and signs will be added to the relevant tiles. That way those people who wish to have a 'clear' set can do so, but those wanting the set to be finished with lots of small details like cameras, signs, lights, vents etc can do so.

At the momment i'm just trying to drive through the content, getting it all made. All the little details, which can add alot of time to model production will be coming later.

01-17-2006, 06:55 PM
cool:up: :10sur10:

01-17-2006, 08:00 PM
so how far are you on the custom scenery set? i cant wait

01-18-2006, 04:20 AM
It's about 70% done.

I've got to do the 1h border trim. The steel roof, and a few special tiles (doors etc)

Should be done by the end of the month. Hopefully.

As a side point, i've been looking at some more pictures of Ioa, and i absolutly love The Lost Continent. I think i may have to start doing that soon as well. The dueling Dragons is an awsome coaster, and the scenery is so well detailed. It makes you think what Atari were doing with their own scenery, it looks so plain compared to this.

Anyway, i'll post an update screenshot tonight.

For the record, i now have over 110mb of ioa pictures on my computer, i have 48 pictures of River Adventure alone!

01-19-2006, 04:22 AM
If you could figure out how to do Ride events, then you could do the dropping raptor cage.

01-19-2006, 07:18 AM
This concrete pack sounds like it might fit one of my planned coasters too.
It is to be called The Blast Furnace and, as the name implies, it will be themed to a steelworks (so I will be using lots of fire and stuff too) and is set to the music track Working Class Man (if you want to know why that music, go watch the music video for it on the VB Slab Of Aussie Rock DVD :).
As for ride events, if I can ever crack animation, ride events should be dead simple after that.

Its so great to see so many packs with such a full-featured set of parts comming out. The scenery atari/frontier put out is GOOD, its just that its not really complete (for example, the office building scenery is useless if you want to make a skyscraper that looks good)

01-23-2006, 01:34 AM
any new pics?

01-23-2006, 01:24 PM
I've been extremely lazy in the last few days, EAW's demo came out, and personal dramas have happened recently. I will produce a few more screenshots later in the week.

01-23-2006, 05:27 PM
Every littel bit helps and so does a lot. I look forward to using these in my parks :D

01-28-2006, 12:29 PM
please more news on this

01-28-2006, 12:33 PM
Wickedly awesome guybrush :P

01-28-2006, 01:06 PM
right, well my busy week has expired and i've been doing some work on pack2. To freshen my ideas up a little bit. I'll get back to work on Pack1 tommorow, and hopefully produce a few screenies for y'all.

01-28-2006, 09:14 PM
Really looking forward to seeing this reach fruition.

01-29-2006, 12:08 PM
Ok small update:

I'm begginning now to mess about actually creating part of the Jurassic Park area in Ioa. I haven't fully decided how i'll be making all of the buildings, at the momment i've created them as per usual, i.e. small wall pieces. However, i may also create a large group item that will be extremely accurate to the building in IOA.

Without further adu, i present: Pizza Predattoria.

Reference Picture:

Obviousally, i've still got a little bit to finish off, i need to create the roofed eating area (on the left side). If someone can tell me what the small hut is on the right hand side of the reference picture, i'd be grateful. There are a few more small details to be added, like the vertical drainage piping on either side of the main roof. Also i need to create the actual sign, and the small round symbols on the wall. I may create the metal table/desk thing on either side of the windows.

As far as the shop goes, i'm going to try and create a brand new type of shop for this area. It will be a 3high wall, with a large window, ala a mcdonalds drive through. I'll create an area behind the window, a small room with general restaurant style objects.

01-29-2006, 12:28 PM
Oooh ooh I have an idea! Make a half buried jeep in the ground, sort of like a dinosaur just smashed it straight into the ground.
I think the car that really got ****ed up in the movie was the Ford Explorer. So make it like that. I dont like fords so i dont care lol. I dont think jeeps got to messed up other than when one was being chased by the t-rex

01-29-2006, 12:32 PM
I havn't actually watched any of the films :P

01-30-2006, 04:29 AM
That building is really a 1:1 adaption from the real one on the photo. I'm impressed and wish, i could build things like this too. Keep on your great project.

01-30-2006, 06:22 PM
I think the car that really got ****ed up in the movie was the Ford Explorer. So make it like that. I dont like fords so i dont care lol. I dont think jeeps got to messed up other than when one was being chased by the t-rex

I thought it was meant to be a Toyota Land Cruiser? Although, that may have just been in the book...

01-30-2006, 06:47 PM
Nope. In the first movie, it featured your typical Jeep 4x4. And it also featured the "brand new" Ford Explorer (at that time).

The second movie it featured the very first Mercades SUV.

and the third didn't really feature any new cars.

01-31-2006, 04:21 PM
It was a Land Cruiser in the book and, a Explorer in the movie.

02-02-2006, 07:31 PM
Amazing! I'm so glad you decided to return to the Jurassic Park after such a leap out of Rct3 (what happened to you anyways?) Also I'm wondering that if after you finish the IOA version, maybe you can do one for us over in california USH? That'd be cool if you would! Still can't wait until this completed....great job!

02-02-2006, 10:04 PM
This is going to be very useful. I cant believe i didnt look at this earlier!

Underpants Man
02-05-2006, 07:01 AM
Guybrush, you were talking earlier about making new foliage. Have you gotten around to that yet?

02-06-2006, 11:42 AM
hey i just wanna know when its gonna be released, this is perfect for the park im creating at the mo!! when do you think it will be ready????:D :D :weird: :D

02-06-2006, 12:11 PM
Cheeky ;)

I had a week off last week due to personal reasons. I will however, be back to the fight this week. I'll try and get the concrete pack sorted. I want to get it out of the way so i can carry on with a few more projects. So expect the release fairly soonish.

02-06-2006, 01:07 PM
Hi Guybrush_47,

there is another tread about your Jurassic Park Project in a german RCT-Forum, but the guy, who started the tread, has started with some pics from the first version with the pics from the visitors center.

I just want to ask you, if you will release this "old" parts too within' your new project? BTW: The visitor building looks fantastic!!!!

02-06-2006, 06:07 PM
Well, i've had a long hard think about how to create IOA. The end result being that instead of making lots of small walls (like in regular rct3) I will instead create all the buildings as large groups. Bad news for you guys, but it would make my progress a hella lot quicker.

However, having said that, i am working with the CEP crew to create some really great ideas. But as far as the content for my IOA park goes, they will all be large/medium/small groups. This also allows me to add any objects i want from any park of the park. For example i've been secretly working on the Hulk, collecting a hella lot of pictures and will be creating the two dragons soon enough.

I began by thinking that i could create small packs which would aid all of us in creating nicer parks. The downfall is that my IOA project suffers bigtime, as the concrete walls alone was taking along time to do. The upshot for all of you is that you'll be able to use all of my models to fit a themed area, you just have to realise that the buildings will be fixed, and will have no room for customisation... at all. I'll post some WIP pics soon enough.

02-06-2006, 07:09 PM
^^Thats cool with me, i really have a hell of a time trying to put buldings together myself. Such as shuyguys mainstreet set, i really suck at trying to put those together.

02-07-2006, 07:45 AM
I realy wany this! you did a great job :D

02-08-2006, 06:27 PM
Ok time for a small update:

I've managed to clean up the Pizza Pred model, it was orginally around 5600 polys, but has no been reduced to roughly 3500. A reduction of 2000, is a hella of alot. Allowing me to add a few small details here and there. The final model will be i recon 4000, when fully textured and with added accessories made (fans, lights, signs etc)

The other piece of news is the creation of a small object that will prove to be useful for all you budding Jurassic creators.

Reference shot:

This will be used for anybody, being on the edge of the tile, it will allow any 1h wall to connect to it, allowing a really nice light border for your pathing. In the theme of a jurassic claw, it should fit in really well with the RCT3 themed stuff. I'll split the model into two parts, the actual light, and the wall corner piece. Allowing you guys to mix and match.

The polys is pretty high on this object however, thats its only downfall. The light is 150 polys, and the stand 90.

02-08-2006, 06:31 PM
That's not too bad. Anyway, do you have an idea of when this will be finished for release?

02-08-2006, 06:34 PM
Well, the concrete pack is getting pretty close. I've got a fair few bugs that need sorting out, and 2 more models to make. But apart from that it would be ready to go.

02-08-2006, 10:58 PM
^^looks pretty good, have u thought about where to upload it too?

02-12-2006, 02:44 PM
Hello,Ataricommunity!.I am the guy who started the thread in the german fansite,Guybrush_47,and your szenery is very very  .I started to create Jurassic Szenery because I thought you stopped the first Theme Pack...sorry.But I found your scenery only cool, when do you think it is release and do you want a link to the thread in the german forum?

Im very sorry for my English,I hope you can understand me.

02-12-2006, 03:50 PM
Woot, Woot... Guybrush 47 is about to go international... Cheers all around.
You know you are doing great work when others are willing to host your stuff for free and speak your name in different languages.

Your updates are great. The ideal about splitting the model into two parts, the actual light, and the wall corner piece is pure genius. I am so glad you have decided to complete this incredible project.

Thanks for all the hard work you are doing, if it were not for you custom content creators, this game would be dead to most of the community by now.
When you release your pack, it will be another fresh breath of life for the game.

02-12-2006, 04:38 PM
Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

Heres a small update of a few more objects i've been making;

Harry Potter: I'd love the link, it's good to see people from all over the community watching my progress. It's really an honour to create items for you all :)

Teirmose: Well if you liked my original light, you'll like the other variation in the screenshots below.

I'll keep things updated as i carry along. I've not really had much time to do any modelling recently. The 3 models above took about an hour to model, the River Adventure rock being the hardest to recreate.

02-12-2006, 09:07 PM
Will those gates function as a park entrance?

02-12-2006, 10:15 PM
Will those gates function as a park entrance?
Now THAT would rock!

02-13-2006, 04:34 AM
Guybrush, just a "technical" question ... which program do you use for creating your objects?

02-13-2006, 04:44 AM
Jonwil: Those gates are just a scenery item (so they can be used in rides/parks).

However, i can always add it in as a park entrance as well. I can't see why not. I'm going to make a few more JP models. Then i'll texture them all and get them ingame.

RCT-Spanky: I use 3d studios, a pretty expensive 3d software. However, it's younger sibling (gmax) is free.

02-13-2006, 01:08 PM
Okay,Guybrush, here you found our thread about your great project.Your Theme (http://www.rct-3.org/forum/thread.php?threadid=6002)
And if you are interested, here is my own scenery where I tried to model the objects from your old theme.Geomags scenery (http://www.rct-3.org/forum/thread.php?threadid=6309).

And everyone who creates scenery in this community is a bit famous at our page how you can see here.List of the Scenery from the Community (http://www.rct-3.org/cso/index.php?sid=r8a8cfdb3e6188d43aa2fbaf3e053242)

02-15-2006, 01:30 PM
Have you any idee when you'll be releasing this scenery? This is one of the great packs created in the time RCT3 came out...

02-16-2006, 02:21 AM
looking very good Guybrush. . the detail level is really good i cant wait for it to be released.

02-16-2006, 11:34 AM
Guybrush didn't create the Star-trek Scenery..

02-23-2006, 08:13 PM
OMG....This is truly amazing i meeen how did you do it do you work for atari that would explain it??? becuase this is just.....WOW!!!

02-24-2006, 01:19 PM
Appolgies for the lack of updates. It's been a hetic week, and i've GOT A BRAND SPANKING NEW BRUTE OF A COMPUTER!

/does a little pirate jig.

Anyhoo, it's taken a few hours to get everything back up and running, so i'll continue work on this project over the weekend.

p.s. No i have nothing to do with the star trek scenery.

02-24-2006, 03:13 PM
Good to hear that you're gonna start again soon.

02-26-2006, 11:37 AM

/looks to atari. Points to living in Birmingham.

Come get me Atari, i'll do the drinks as well :)

[Official Statement]

Due to creating a brand new pc the other week. I am having problems finding my 3ds cd. Unfortunatly i moved house a few months back, and it seems i've misplaced my CD. I've emptied my current house twice in pursuit for the CD, but can't find it anywhere.

The good news is, i have 4gb of IOA pictures on my pc, and i'm begginning to plan out the models i'm going to make and in what order. Some of you maybe happy to hear that Hulk scenery will feature heavily coming up.

As for the JP pack1. (the concrete pack). Once i get 3ds installed, that will be my main priority to finish it off and get it all sorted for y'all.

Not very impressive i know, but this was an object i made a week or two ago, when my computer was still intact;

The sign in the middle will be a billboard, allowing you to add in your own picture to increase the signs flexibility. I've finally been able to track down my copy of 3ds, seems like i lent it out to a mate of mine, so i should be back up and running this week :)

03-05-2006, 02:52 PM
Guybrush -this set is going to be beyond outstanding - your models are simply stunning. I can't wait for its release - and the long wait will no doubt be worth it.

03-05-2006, 03:20 PM
Guybrush, this is the most ama- GAH! my.....heart! arg! (falls over)...must....live.....til'.........RELEASE!

03-05-2006, 04:03 PM
cool i like

03-05-2006, 04:04 PM
allowing you to add in your own picture to increase the signs flexibility.

Your own pictures? Do you find a way, to implement your own pics?

03-05-2006, 05:28 PM
Not a big deal from your latest model, but I like it. It can be use anything, like menu, ride info, map etc...

Hope we can able to discover how to make the billboard proper, I might get it because I am thinking that it might be the same way from scroll text for sign.

But problem is when you select Advertising Sign Texture in Texture Flags when you converting the OVL, which it will disable Texture Name. Texture Name is required to make the co-ord the mapping on the face where you want to billboard. I think the problem with pervious custom billboard which it is not referenced the UV mapping yet.

Hope in the future we can able to get the special test if we can use the texture name by using the Advertising Sign Texture in Texture Flags.

Excellent news :)

My lost copy of 3ds has returned and i am now creating some more models. I've been doing some experimentation work atm, trying to figure a few things out... some progress of some trial models can be seen;

These are pretty high poly, and some tweaking is needed on the cogs and the shape of the edge. The actual model above is split into 2 seperate models. A fence model, and a Sci-Fi wall Trim. There are various tricks i can use to lower the poly, but atm i'm doing some experimentation work on some other things. Working on some quite complex texturing and 'trying' to mess about with some lighting effects. (not going too well :D)

its beautifull man

03-09-2006, 02:35 PM
Well, you are a great modeller, that's for sure...

But you're yet to produce...:haha:

No, sorry... I know this will be a wonderful (or many...) expansion to the game and I really am in awe of your commitment... (Not the least with your posts at RCT Extended...:up:That was really bad english, wasn't it... not quite sure what I wanted to express... ) Keep it up and give us some stuff...:D

03-10-2006, 07:53 AM
heh heh, don't worry Magnum. I do realise the lack of content, and that will be addressed... very soon ;)

03-12-2006, 07:41 PM
Right, after a very lazy weekend (mostly in the pub watching sport m'afraid). I did have some time left over, so from that time i've begun texturing some of my completed models;

Still a little bit of tweaking involved, i could really do with adjusting the 'claws' they don't atm have the look of bones connected together, but i do think i've captured the 'aged bronzed' look. But considering that these items will rarely be seen up close i am being a little 'fusy' :P

Oh one thing i forgot to mention, the actual light itself is customisable. I've produced a method, allowing you guys to mix and match the pieces to build your own lights. I've added an example to show the idea. At the momment there are only 2 different pieces, i will create a different looking light top and also an different 'connector'. To allow for even more customisation :)

(and of course the items here will be recolurable)

03-12-2006, 07:49 PM
Wow Impressive! your pack is coming along smoothly... really cool stuff there! :D

03-13-2006, 11:03 AM
I cant wait to see this being released, it is really amazing the stuff we can do now with rct3. I really enjoy watching the progress of this project, and I am keeping an eye out.

Guybrush another technical question, I have 3ds max and I am trying to get into this 3D modeling, how exactly do you get the scale in 3ds max so your object is placed right and has the right demensions in rct3? And any hints would be appreciated!

BRAVO

03-13-2006, 11:05 AM
Surf, i'll send you over some templates so you can get the correct sizes. Give me a few hours to get home.

I've been gone for almost two months and you still haven't released the first set...? No, just messing with you... Take all the time you need... With all the new stuff from Shyguy, Pumper and others I have loads to play with, now that I Finally can find the energy to play RCT3 again...

And how is the Extended project coming along? Well nevermind, I can check that out for myself...

03-30-2006, 05:26 AM
What program are you making the objects out of?

If your using gmax™ or 3DStudioMax™ then I'm not surprised.:D :p

04-23-2006, 10:12 AM
I am really interested to know how you are getting on with this set as well. What you have produced so far is awsome.:D

04-24-2006, 03:55 AM
I think, he don't stop the work on this project. Be patient.

04-30-2006, 10:56 AM
I hope it didn't die! :(

05-04-2006, 06:33 PM
I hope guybrush dosn't mind but I took it apon myself to make the JP Concrete Door aka the Garage ;)

05-04-2006, 06:42 PM
this is good! im glad to see some action in this thread again! well done

05-04-2006, 10:19 PM
OK I think i completed the gate:

I plan to make a new object every 2 days I can hope with more ideas and such I just started our first model seriously, I need someone to contact me that can start to convert these into ase and start making a scen pack for this guybrush please respond if you are still continue as I dont wanna do this without you! Thank you for your comments and thank you to guybrush for his amazing models so far!

LONG LIVE JP!

05-05-2006, 02:41 AM
@surfdue: You should start a new tread with your own JP-Objects, because I think Guybrush_47 still works on HIS set. It also make it easier to see the progress of your objects and guybrush's set. But I would also like to know, if guybrush's set will ever be ready?

BTW: I like the garage-door and it looks very close to the original.

05-05-2006, 04:11 PM
Thank you, I really would like to hear back from Guybrush and I may do so I dont want to copy what he is doing so I will probably do something eles

for the garage, I still have to apply the jp logo ;)

I'm a huge jurassic park fan.
I love it

06-08-2006, 06:53 PM
this is... amazing

06-09-2006, 10:59 AM
But you should forget about it ... a few weeks ago, I said, I'm sure that Guybrush works on this theme, now I'm sure he don't care about it. He don't reacts about surfdue's custom objects inside this tread, he don't react about anything here since months. We should let this tread die. RIP

06-09-2006, 12:06 PM

06-11-2006, 08:36 PM
What software r u using to make the stuff?

06-12-2006, 02:00 PM
Wow, great job! Can't wait for the download.

06-12-2006, 06:24 PM
I love the lights!! Awesome! Any idea when this set will be released?

06-12-2006, 11:48 PM
Guybrush hasn't replied to this thread in 3 months, so I'll close it until I hear from him to reopen it. No sense in people getting their hopes up for something that may not get completed.
