it isn't the perfect mall and it hasn't a name, but it's still my first mall so don't get too critical ;)

hey, nice man!

maybe some tips:
a little viarity of the walls and it will look even better!, maybe some windows? and doors at the top?
I don't know if you have restrooms, but maybe add them in a little building next to it?(just an idea)

keep practicing!

Ok firstly from what I can tell this should be in the structures section, secondly the building just look you've made a buch of shops and stalls around and above a bunch of fountains and shoved some scenery over it, although that is usually the basic idea of malls, it shouldn't be done with the same thing over and over again for the wall and roofs with no variation, have a look at some parks for a better idea of what I mean, especially Kidfox's detailed tutorials lol.

That's a lot better than my first building. Good job! But you will need to improve drastically. Like others said, go to the tutorials section and learn from there.

Ya, looking very boring and blocky...

I suggest the Modular Building tutorial if you want to make better malls.

You've undertsood that it takes more than one wallset, which is good, but now you need to be able to build buildings with more shape, and details. Check out the custom scenery section and go crazy.

Don't worry dude, most of my first buildings were like that also.

Do ALL the tutorials in Strategies and Tutorials forum to improve your building skills. Also, please re-size your images to 800 x 600 or replace all paaearances of IMG with screenshot. I did the first image in your thread, so when you click edit you'll see how to do it.

also change the ground texture inside the building to something other than grass-malls dont have grass in do they?
