Hey guys,

I hope i have put this in the correct section. I have just created my first rollercoaster using RCT3. Its called Starlite.
I dont have any scenery just yet, just wanted to get used to the controls of building the coaster itself. Also when recording the ride apologises that it changes from day to night towards the end.

All comments welcome. Would love to hear your comments so that i could make future rides even better. So far i think its ok for a first try.

Thanks.

I'm in middle of watching.. here's some problems I found.

Bank your turns. My back would be broken by the end!

To many corkscrews/ over-banked turns.

Scenery?

Too many MCBR's.

I guess it's okay for your first ride.

Ok Ouch! Now, I am not knocking it at all so don't take offense.....hopefully you are here to learn and improve. Just a couple of things, try a little more straight track so it is not as jerky, and if you HAVE to have a chain hill lift in the middle of the ride, try and increase the speed so that there is not a huge break in excitement right in the middle, and soften the edges of the terrain where the ride goes underground, it just helps the look significantly. As I said, just listen to everyone here and it will help. All in all, a pretty good start, I like the concept and the scheme.

Okay when i was creating the coaster i only started clicking on the right hand features, i dont really know what each of them meant. I'd need to update myself on that.
Is there somewhere where i can see what each definition is for each feature ie Banked Turns

I know about the scenery, its something i am looking into also.

Whats MCBR's?

Oh another question, i had music on the ride, but when riding it the music disappears the further away on the ride you are? Does this generally happen.
Also when i recorded the ride and listened back to it, there was no music at all, so i had to edit the song again to play using windows movie maker?

Thanks for looking anyway

No offense taken - exactly im here to learn and the only way i know if im doing something right is i get feedback also.
I wondered how i could get rid of the holes that the coaster goes through. I just need to soften them, maybe add some more scenery around.

How do u change the underground look of things? ie where the lights are on either side shows the underground dirt, am i able to change all that ie put in pics or change the terrain colour etc

Thanks for your feedback.

Will def need to read up on the coaster features. Havent a clue about inversions.

But thanks for looking. Hopefully things will def improve, i dont want to kill ye all on the ride lol

Quadruple post... Ouch.

When building coasters, ask yourself these questions:

1.Would you want to ride it?
2.Would others want to ride it?
3.Is it realistic?

Don't take this as a bad thing, just as constructive criticism.
