hello all, first time poster over here in the RCT3 area but i've been here and there on the atari forums for a while now, and i've been poping in and out of the coaster area here and there for inspiration and what not.

i bounce around through several games, and recently found myself back playing RCT3. i had made it through all the senerarios and still wasn't tired of playing, but i couldn't realy motivate myself to do anything in sandbox mode. sure i'd place rides around, but without objectives, money going up and down and what not, it just didn't seem satisfying.

i knew i wanted to make a park from scratch, and figured the best way to get myself to put in decorations, and all that junk was to put a scenerio together - that way it would focus me to do all the little detail stuff that i usually overlook. i had noticed that the scenario area was a bit light so i figured i'd offer it up.

objectives

App.
2 coasters min excitement 5.5
VIP - wants to ride 1 coaster exc. 5.5, wants to visit a generic themed area

Ent.
4 coasters min excitement 5.5
VIP - wants to ride 1 coaster exc. 5.5, wants to visit a spooky themed area
VIP - wants to ride 1 coaster exc. 5.5, wants to visit a western themed area

Tyc.
6 coasters min excitement 5.5
VIP - wants to ride 1 coaster exc. 5.5, wants to visit a Sci-fi themed area
VIP - wants to ride 1 coaster exc. 5.5, wants to visit an adventure themed area

all VIP's have a high target happiness. you start with 50k, 0 in loan, and about half the coaster types, rides, and shops needing to be researched - ( of course most of those are the themed shops and rides).

i was able to compleate the objectives a little quicker then i expected, usually before i got finished setting up the areas.. the park ended up a little loppsided with most of the peeps pileing up in the front of the park, and the areas all screwy sizes, due to compleateing the objective's before expected.

here's a pic of what my first time through looked like...

i learned alot about seting up the rides and areas for the decorations the first time around, so i made some changes to the senario (hence why is 2) and will be starting again with a little more of a plan.

changes - i modified the entrence useing skippers tutorial, and ringed the park area with one of the large fence's, but since i play by ear more then plan every little detail, i left teraforming up to game play. - i also changed the wether so that it would rain every now and then to make money off of selling umbrella's. - my first time through was rather fun and i'm looking forward to doing it again - hope some of ya'll find it fun as well.

that pic is the first time i compleated it... i've compleated it a second time with all of the themeing along the path edges, instead of spamed everywhere neting a less cluttered park..

now i'm one ViP and 1 coaster away from compleateing it a third time, where i have learned that a themed station house on the coaster is all you need to satisy the VIP's. and i have also reduced the number of other rides to only 2 per coaster midway - makeing an even less cluttered park.. i'll post pics of those games when i finish up this one.
