This structure is supposed to be the accomplishment of humanity after WWIII to symbolize the end of all wars. (corny story, i know) But the Tower of Light is a HUGE Structure in progress. it is 87x79 tiles and almost 500ft tall. thank you expo 3000 and DRP's ambience lighting. it takes up 1/4th of an entire park, but the four base areas can easily fit a coaster each. I will upload soon but take heed. Once you place the structure and choose to delete it. It might take hours because DRP's lights cannot be deleted by means of the mass deletion method. Also, slower computers will have a lag due to the massive size and complexity of the structure.:(

SEE POST 8 for pics

i have no clue what the possibilities are with a piece such as this, but you're creative.:haha:

Big and fancy indeed, but what could we use it for...?

its not done yet, but i might have an idea for a super long and super high hershey's storm runner design that will take up the whole park.

looks very impressive... but as was said above, the real question is why? and what can we use it for??

It still has a lot of work. Technically, its only the framework for the main building. The final structure should have 4 office building wings and possibly 4 tower base buildings, 10x10, and 6 tiles high on each strut. its complicated but might be a structure used to house a park. IDEA!!! if i placed this over water, it could serve as a futuristic oil platform and could play host to a sci-fi ocean park atop the individual platforms, almost like an ocean city.

oh well, more work will be done on it tonight.

Of course, why didn't we think of that??? After all, you see sci-fi ocean parks all the time.

Just thinking out of the box

UPDATE TIME:D

Heres the completed tower of light. It lagged so much on my computer but its totally AWESOME! Its 579ft tall, more than 1/4th the size of a sandbox park, and the structure alone costs $131,000 to build. It has 8 floors, each capable of housing a small coaster. However, it took me 10 minutes to place the structure and I have a really fast computer, so uploading the structure might be a wee problem. But 10 minutes of anguish is totally worth it and heres why...

Oh, I did find a use for it so see my thread on the coaster I made around the building. SKYLINE DROP

So, Whacha think?:o

Wow. That is HUGE. It could hold a whole park and shops and accomodation. also swimmingpools and coasters spiralling around it. around the structure you could just have lots of genric shrubbery to make it look nice and a few rides that wouldnt fit in the building.(although i doubt much things wouldnt fit inside it :D) Basically i can just bee a center of rides and coasters and shops...

working on it.

sorry for double posting, but I'm creating an oceanic park focused on this tonight. It will have a suspension bridge (4+tiles wide) to get peeps out to the tower, which would be sitting in the middle of the ocean.

After reviewing your pictures and all, I'm going to make something similar, but with a greater story line.

The 3rd shot looks absolutely breathtaking, something different is always nice to see, maybe you could put a small coaster and drop tower on the top like theyve got in Toronto(i think thats the tower)

DJDT

the top of the tower sits at 596ft so you might need the john wardley code.
