I'm having trouble making the Griffon CTR splashdown effect work. I'm putting walls all around the track and filling the hole with water but when the train goes through it it doesn't make the splashdown effect. Can someone help?

You have to use the ride effects - I can't remeber who has made them, but this is the only option you have to make splash downs on rides that don't usually have it.

^ No..
In coasterfreaks new version of Griffon, he has made it so it makes a splash down affect.

You need to make actually go under water.

no, its in the new CTR creator, coasterfreek90 was a beta tester, he blended the water coaster and extended so that the splashdown effect can happen

Use the Cook's Coaster Goodies, it has something which does that.

There is a trackbed made specifically for this ride... You've got to put that down where you want the splash to happen.

^ No, you don't need to lay down the trackbed for the splash. You need the options.txt cheat that lets you put the track under the surface of the water.

^ its not an options txt cheat. it works without it. if it cant go down into the water, than you should probably reinstall it.

^ Oh, I didn't try it without the cheat so I figured it was because of the cheat but, no I remember that someone said it was partly "Giant Flume" which is allowed to intersect with the water.

^ You actually just need to make sure there is a full 1h tile of water....

lets say the ride is the dotted line, it needs to be under 1h of water
