View Full Version : Track possibilities

Now I know something similar has been talked about but I was just wondering, is it possible not to make new track pieces but instead make all the qualities of a coaster on a different track type. For instance would it be possible to put all the extended pieces on a wooden coaster, made with wooden track, cars etc. I don't know anything about this game when it comes to stuff like this so I'm sure its harder than what I'm thinking, but if its possible, that would be great.

so you are asking if you can take the zero g roll from extended, mix it with the wooden track and then the zero g roll becomes wooden track aswell am i right ?
that is not possible. Each track piece is moddeled so if you want a extended piece as a wooden piece you would have to model it and create a custom track which isnt possible.

Azanderz is right. For the full version (1.0) of the importer, it should be possible, but a unique model would need to be made, and all of the requirements of how the track starts before the piece, after, and where it travels during, is not yet possible. Your best bet is to use Das Matze's utilities measure, and measure out all those pieces, and add them to rct3. But then a custom track type could be made, and that would be quite something. I want some of those inverted extended pieces myself, but I will wait.

Would we need the Wild expansion if there were going to be Zero-G's on a wooden coaster? Because I'm hoping with this new version of the CTR creator, (Is that it?) I'll be able to have a couple track pieces that I don't get with Soaked!

no you just need normal rct3 for zero G rolls, but the new ctr creator to make it
