INTAMIN NOT VEKOMA MISTAKE MADE

Here is something I have been working on, NOT MY MODEL, I AM MEARLY JUST LOWERING THE POLY COUNT SO RCT3 USERS CAN USE IT. I will put this on Giga Coaster Track and Extended. THIS IS TROUBLESOME, PLEASE CLOSE THIS ALREADY.

Looks super realistic but the poly count might be a little high but on the other hand it looks amazing!

The poly is not actually that high, And yes it is Vekoma, An old design, I do not think they make them anymore though.

The polycount is ridiculously high! The wheels, bars and stuff should be alphas. Have you imported anything before? It doesn't seem like you did. I guess you don't even have loaded the RCT3 measurements plugin. Please read tutorials before starting anything serious. Also you should start with some test-CSOs. The most projects contain only SketchUp screens and die very quickly. This isn't meant to be rude, it's just the general process that happens here. ;) If you are an advanced user, ignore this. I can't know.

Double posting isn't allowed.

Go ahead and export it to see how much polygons (not faces) it has. Believe me when I tell you that I have a lot of SketchUp and RCT3 experience (I was the admin of one of the first SketchUp fanpages) so that I'm able to tell how much polygons it might have. I guess it has more than 10,000. It should have about 500.

Fastlaw, your objects are, indeed, very high in faces. No it is not the textures fooling us. Textures do not form edges and vertices. Edit: Words removed from replied post in double-post merge.

Due to the feedback of Dazmate and some others. I will do what he wants, This part will probably not be released. This is not meant to make Dazmate look bad, I am just accepting his advice. I have used a beta version of this in my park and my computer does not go slow.

Well i think it looks great and if it does not slow the game down release it as long as it does not crash the game its fine and how many polys does it have you said is has a low amount.

Hi Fastlaw, i know that you think dasmatze and others are being critical but have you exported and looked at the poly count?

every circle or curve on that thing has 12 faces at least and considering the bars are circular they have masses of polys. Do you have the ASE Exporter? try an export and post the poly count and youll see what we mean :)

Try some normal CS first, thatll get you started on low polymodelling but just because something is low poly doesnt mean its good.(i think thats someones user message :P)

I will put this on Splitting Coaster. For splitting coaster, do not split or rct3 will crash. Enjoy the progress:)



have you actually got that ctr functioning? or just plan to do it.

that is not a vekoma car :) when you look at the wheels they are made wrong, they would bump against the bars that holds the track together :)
looks good but too high poly. maybe your computer doesnt lack but some people dont have a new up to date computer and they can easily start lagging when they install something like this :) Maybe not the CTR alone, but then they add 10 flat rides, a couple of coasters more, some scenery and all the sudden you have massive lagg :)

Looking at the train again, im 100% sure it is a intamin mega lite car...

^ I agree. If this was a vekoma the wheels would be hugging the inside of the track not the outside.

Yes but this is a partly modified vekoma car, basically vekoma and intamin combonation.

the wheels will collide with the track brackets... all you need to to is rotate the wheel base so it doesn't hit the track

Can people stop posting, this was obviously a stolen model and the one that he did post a picture of earlier was a photo stolen from the Vekoma website, this user obviously is either ignoring the rules or just refusing to follow them.

The first thing i did after i saw this thread was to search the warehouse, if he doesnt even know that it is an intamin car then there would be something wrong. Sadly i couldnt find it but someone else confirmed my thoughts of that it was a stolen model...

^^ Not just that probably, but um, look at the sigs! Maybe it's just coincidence, but the only difference is the username and "productions" the little alien thing, join date is TODAY? You honestly think someone who joined today would have that much knowledge to know all about cs/ctrs and stealing models and such? Possible...yet highly unlikely...

Plus the IP is probably the same. :D

Gotta admit, I'm guilty of doing this once LONG time ago...but not so badly and maliciously....Mostly because I had built up a bad rep for being an immature fool. *rolls eyes* I'm passed that now though, but this is just.....eww.

Yes I did take it, but there is some confusion here. I was going to lower the poly and try to put it into rct3. I just wanted to use this car. And Yes the millenium force cars are from Intamin.

You havent been working on it, youve downloaded it and not worked on it at all.
Plus you have a duplicate account according to Bio which can get you infractions (or a ban im nt sure). Plus you should have stated that it wasnt your model

I did not say I made it, I said I am working on it. And by working I meant lowering the poly count. It is not mine at all. I am just lowering the poly count so we can have an intamin. Front page changed. CHECK IT OUT.

Oh so it gets even better, when you say you imported it you show the cars that were already made by Coasterfreak90 and claim that they are yours. I can easily tell that those are not the same and then look at the cars you show in game and tell that they were the new Mega Cars by Coasterfreak90.

Can we please get a mod to close this thread before it gets any more preposterous.

Coasterfreak is a German rct3 modder, currently betaing the new CTR Creator. Quite skilled modeler I must say.

You know those are not your models, the in-game one isn't even close to the sketchup one you claim to be working on, that is obvious by the fact the sketchup one has a headrest, the ingame on doesn't.

Fastlaw stop playing innocent here, If you just admit what you did then we don't care as much as if you lie. I personally love the user base around here. I just can't stand users that are jerks or lie though.

The model is not Coaster Freaks your right, that is from sketch up, but the ingame picture you showed oh idk 10 min ago was an in game shot showing not the model from sketchup, but Coaster Freak 90's Mega Coaster Custom Car, and don't say it wasn't it clearly was.
