Like the one from RCT2:

I am looking forward to see this one dasmatze, because i think the one in RCT2 was ok a little bit, but i would like to see a better one done for RCT3.

^that'll come in handy for "main street" ect.

05-22-2009, 09:22 AM
This is another beautifull project!

05-22-2009, 09:49 AM
YES! Finally someone is making those nice looking trams :) As a_champion says, this would work really well with the main street sets, or in general just classic looking park.

looking forward to this... :) im always impressed with ur work!!!

05-22-2009, 05:13 PM
Thank you very much.

This is what it actual looks like after I messed around with the seating positions a lot and changed the the size of the walls a few hundred times:

It looks pretty plain. I hope textures can beautify it a bit. The windows will be darker. I still need to move the seat positions a bit so that the GiantAfroSaurs can enter the car without breaking it.

Wow! Looks brilliant! And yes, it will look better with darker windows.

05-22-2009, 05:21 PM
It looks awesome dasmatze, but are you going to do different trams or just this one, because i do like it a lot.

05-22-2009, 06:09 PM
i think it needs to be a little bulkier, after looking at the rct2 trams, this rct3 interpretation looks a little wimpy, lol.

05-22-2009, 06:32 PM
You love making ctr's don't you dasmatze :p?

Nice one.Tough.

05-22-2009, 06:38 PM
I like it, its just too plain. If you really wanted to make some old style or classic trams, its good to look at the ones from San Fransisco, they have a great style too them. If not, im fine and will download it anyhow.

05-22-2009, 06:45 PM
=] This looks really beautiful! It'll make a great addition to mainstreets and parks in general! Keep up the great work!

05-23-2009, 12:31 PM
@liamrocks: I don't like the San Fransisco Trams. But I like the RCT2 ones.

I added textures and I'm satisfied with them:

Some people might have noticed that I used texture baking which can lead to such a well shaded interior:

To-Do: Coupler and other seat positions (peeps feet float in the air).

Very nice indeed, as always. Once again, you've out-done yourself. Well done.

One thing I would suggest, though, is that you consider adding a few more details. Nothing particularly major (says the guy who's never touched a 3D modelling program, but anyway), stuff like maybe a set of gates across the entrances. But the major thing I'd suggets is that you do something with the roof, so that it doesn't look so barren, maybe a pantograph or a bell or something.

Other than that, it looks freaking great! A definite 4 out of 5, and it's not even done!

05-23-2009, 05:24 PM
Theser are way better than the one's in RCT3 Thank you for all your gread work Dasmatze! You make a better game of rct3!

05-23-2009, 05:42 PM
nice job! these are beautifull, I can predict that they'll be used so much, man, you are a ctr machine..

05-23-2009, 05:50 PM

@Sir R L IV: Thank you for real constructive critic. I finished it so it's too late. But I will keep that in mind for future updates (if there will be some).

I have design a track and when i set the speed i can go upto 500MPH, so i think there is a problem with the tram, but that is me, but i still think it is awesome.

07-26-2009, 05:56 PM
wow, nice. and will this require wild an expansion pack? i downloaded your studio tour set, but then read that i have to have wild for it to work. and also, would you mind making another studio tour car, just like the other one, but with no expansion required? please?

07-26-2009, 07:36 PM
Wow! This is great! The trams in RCT3 are really bad. Now, they dont have to be anymore!
