View Full Version : [WIP:CTR] Intamin Accelerator - Full Train! 31/01

06-23-2009, 08:54 AM
Hi once again,

It has long seemed strange to me that one of the most iconic and popular rides in the world has not been made in RCT3, while the likes of the Eurofighter has. So, yesterday morning I set about changing that :D

Behold, the Intamin Accelerator! :D

As you can hopefully see, the model is 90% complete. The last remaining job is to make OTSRs. Obviously this will be on the Stormrunner track, and so soon I hope we will have an accurate launch coaster, say no to the Stratacoaster!

Thoughts and comments, as ever, most welcome. :)

Ps. Those of you waiting on my S&S Screamin' Swing, that is still WIP but I fancied a short break, making this the ideal project.

06-23-2009, 09:10 AM
Wow! Cant wait 'til it's done!

06-23-2009, 10:20 AM
nice , is it the stealth/rita cars?

06-23-2009, 10:23 AM
The front looks a little flat, apart from that it look brilliant!

06-23-2009, 10:43 AM
Wow! Cant wait 'til it's done!
Niether can I! :D

nice , is it the stealth/rita cars?
Yup, 'tis indeed.

The front looks a little flat, apart from that it look brilliant!
They do tend to look quite shallow, but I think it is because for some inexplicable reason there is a gap of about a mile and a half between the underside of the body at the very front, and the track. I will post an in-game shot in a min...

06-23-2009, 10:47 AM
this what i have been waiting for, looks great :)

06-23-2009, 11:01 AM
What's the poly count?

06-23-2009, 11:28 AM
Cool :D I requested this some while ago :)

06-23-2009, 11:44 AM
What's the poly count?

I'm working on that...

New seat, with old ones left in for comparison:

06-23-2009, 11:46 AM
I think that this is going to be amazing when you do finish this one and also your screaming swing ride because i will put these 2 in my new park that is on the forum.

06-23-2009, 11:53 AM
Been watching this for a while and I just have to say good luck with this. One sentence of advice would be to cut your poly's down because i can see some that can be moved. Also use alpha textures.

06-23-2009, 11:54 AM
I love these! I've been wanting to find a Rita/Stealth style.

06-23-2009, 12:12 PM
Good start so far.
May I ask where the peeps feet are going to go?

06-23-2009, 12:37 PM
^ i was thinking the same thing when you hit the launch you feet would be in your mouth

06-23-2009, 01:10 PM
lol, there is no place at all to put you feet apart from you mouth LOL

06-23-2009, 02:11 PM
Coming along pretty great

06-23-2009, 03:05 PM

06-23-2009, 04:20 PM
Last update for tonight, and thanks for all your positive feedback!

OTSR progress:

And your feet go here!

06-23-2009, 04:28 PM
What's the poly count?
From the looka of it , tons.

There are many useless polys in there. Like the front of the car you have two shades of red for design. You need to use textures. If you have too many polys , it will destroy your game. Ha , more like crash.

06-23-2009, 04:37 PM
AFAIK they are the same shade, trick of the angle. In any case, they are by no means there to stay!

06-23-2009, 06:38 PM
It is looking good adam, and i am looking forward to see more of this.

06-23-2009, 09:56 PM
Wow this is looking really good! Keep up the work...This is one I will download lol

06-23-2009, 11:29 PM
Why work twice as much? Start with fewer faces instead of re-working something that will eventually overload RCT3...

06-24-2009, 12:07 AM
The car look a little Short on the front is'nt it a little longer and not as flat :) But you could use the first car for the seconds car and make 1st car better and long like Rita , Stealth xD

Like so , You are close though ??

06-24-2009, 12:15 PM
Update time :)

OTSRs nearly finished :D

Trains lengthened, which meant a bit of a redesign for the rest to keep it in proportion. Much longer now though.

Please rate and comment! Thanks!

06-24-2009, 12:33 PM
Keeps getting better and better

06-24-2009, 03:15 PM
Dude, the poly count is gotta be 10,000!!!!!!!! Use alphas instead of round wheels!

06-24-2009, 03:48 PM
Wow, just wow. I love it!

06-24-2009, 03:52 PM
Faaaar too many poly's here and tbh the car doesn't look great. It's too small, especially compared to the rita cars and the ingame cars. You need to at least make them taller! And for the designs on the front and side use textures rather than adding poly's to the model! It will look just as good and will run faster. Also make the wheels alpha textures.

06-24-2009, 04:44 PM
You do know every circle has 25 faces and I have seen 4 already so 25x4=100x4=400 faces without the thought of the restraints. All of the wheels you have put on there equals to 1200 faces 350 every side group of wheels.

06-24-2009, 05:08 PM
Thanks for all the pointers and tips everyone - I will certainly act upon them. The diagonal lines on the front are not there to create a pattern!

06-25-2009, 07:38 AM
One Thing you need though is that Stealth Sign or they gonna be just normal cars and one Stealth one :D But if your doing a stealth one look at picture i send earlier xD

06-25-2009, 10:11 AM

Or he could release a re-skin :)

06-25-2009, 10:13 AM
Don't worry - Its all cool regardng colour schemes ect because I was thinking about a Stealth version first, then maybe a generic red and patterned one, then possibly a Rita colour scheme. The Stealth construction mini site Thorpe put up back in 2005/06 is a great help to me doing this!

News for today is that I have... Dun da da daaa... Finished the lead car model!

Now all I have to do to it is texture, and...

Thanks for all your input, thoughts and comments peeps, please keep it coming, voice any opinions & rate! :)

06-25-2009, 10:59 AM
Wow, this is going to be amazing when its completed :D.

06-25-2009, 11:45 AM
I love it! just one thing aren't the restraints supposed to have that pole that goes up to the headrest too?
Like This

06-25-2009, 11:56 AM
You don't need headrests because the peeps can't use them.

06-25-2009, 09:35 PM
Thats not what they're saying, they are saying that it is missing the lap bar support that links from the top of the head rest to the lap bar.

06-26-2009, 11:34 AM
Well, some news of sorts today everyone. I have imported my first ever CTR!

But its upside-down, and hanging under the track :sour:

At least the peeps seem to fit in the seats well!

Any ideas anyone? Thanks :)

06-26-2009, 11:38 AM
Ok, I've had this problem. In your Bahndaten.txt, make sure you are using 'mit addons'. Then at the bottom of the bahndaten change 'verticalinversionflag 0' to 'verticalinversionflag 1' Then once you place the coaster it will be upside down, however you can then click on either barrel roll on uninverted on the banking menu. Then delete the upside down bits and complete the track.

06-26-2009, 11:42 AM
There that is how to fix it
*Thanks to T4L for the pic*

06-26-2009, 11:42 AM
In the CTR Creator where it says Stationtype, put "Standard", and in the Tracksectioname take out "Invstationmiddle" and make sure you have "Stationmiddle" in there instead. Try that out and see if it fixes it.

Good luck, hope you sort it out.

06-26-2009, 11:44 AM
That is not going to matter. If there are still inverted track pieces Rct3 will default to the inverted station. Those track pieces need to removed for it to default to, well default.

06-26-2009, 11:48 AM
Ok, no offense but this thing is going to kill a computer. There are far to many polys, circles should have a maximum of 12, and the wheels should be alphas. On quarter curves, have a max of 6 sides. The lap bar could be a triangle, not a complete 12 sided circle.

Other then that its good.

06-26-2009, 11:49 AM
That is not going to matter. If there are still inverted track pieces Rct3 will default to the inverted station. Those track pieces need to removed for it to default to, well default.
Oh, fair enough. Well just a thought, I'll leave it to you to help him out.

06-26-2009, 12:15 PM
you do realise the peeps feet are ganging through the back of the car ??? :S lol and the wheels dont fit on the trock properly, BUT nice model :D you just need a floor :D

06-26-2009, 12:39 PM
Yeah, I'm working on finalizing scale ect. at the moment :)

06-26-2009, 02:21 PM
cool, i think, when its finished, this will be awsome

06-27-2009, 01:32 PM
Quickie for you guys, I'm just waiting for something from someone at the moment, then I'm out of the country all next week. Unfortunatly that means a week where I can't do any work! :( I promise I shall return to this project as soon as I get back though, I'm really enjoying it. First thing to do when I get back is make the intermediate cars.

06-27-2009, 03:04 PM
Before you release this, I would recomend changing those wheels to Alpha Sandwiches. Looks better and reduces poly's. ;)

07-06-2009, 03:32 PM
I'm back guys, woo! Work shall continue ASAP :D

07-06-2009, 07:57 PM
Cant wait mate :D Looking good from the pictures just need them handled behind the seats which makes the ride more realistic , Oh About Rita i wouldn't make the car in the same theming as the the ride because we don't no what the cars are gonna look like now SW6 Is coming in early spring 2010 :D But you could make one like Accelerator at Knotts Berry Farm , CA

07-07-2009, 04:39 AM
OMG I went to thorppe park for the first time on tuesday (last week) and stealth was by far the best!! loved the car also!!! thats why i love this soooooooooo much!!!

07-11-2009, 04:17 AM
OMG I went to thorppe park for the first time on tuesday (last week) and stealth was by far the best!! loved the car also!!! thats why i love this soooooooooo much!!!

Stealths my favourite aswell :)

I was really disapointed in Saw.

07-11-2009, 04:36 AM
omg i lovethe progress on this, i have only been on top thrill dragster and Rita and i goin to Thorpe park, im gonna see what it's like and btw, ure cars rock!, just exterminate them polys

07-11-2009, 04:57 AM
Stealths my favourite aswell :)

I was really disapointed in Saw.

Well, I didnt acualy go on saw, simply because it didnt look worth the que line, BUT that was when we didnt know there were fastracks for saw.... -_- and by the time we found out, they were all gone :(

07-11-2009, 05:00 AM
how does fast track work in Thorpe, is it like Disney's?

07-11-2009, 05:18 AM
how does fast track work in Thorpe, is it like Disney's?
0-80mph in 1.9 seconds, faster than disney.

Buisketboy, I find SAW to be the best, but that's just me.
Virusmagnet, when did you go? I've found the queue is generally only 1 hour when at the entrance!

07-11-2009, 05:38 AM
ghandi i meant the qeue jump, thats what fast track is

07-11-2009, 05:56 AM
I went on the 30th, it was a school day, but when we got the there was about 300 buses full of school kids lol...
i also suggest getting fastracks to anybody who go's to thorpe park, coz they are really worth it, as you only gota wait 1-2 rides and then your on. so yeah they are really great. i got the acselorator one and the collosus single one

07-11-2009, 06:13 AM
cools, do they cost much?

07-11-2009, 07:07 AM
well they cost 3 for a single ride, theres special group ones that costt....

4 rides 9
5 rides 9
unlimited all day 50

but the 9 pound ones you cant choos which rides, theres a list, theres the acselorator, with vortex, rush, samurai and stealth and i cant renember the other list

07-11-2009, 07:37 AM
gandhi i meant the qeue jump, thats what fast track is
Yes I know what fast track is. I misunderstood you and thught you meant 'How fast does the track work, like in disney'. My bad.
It's 4 for Stealth and SAW- The Ride, 3 for all other rides, 9 for 'Accelerator' Package, 9 for extreme package and 60 for ultimate fastrack (unlimited access to all rides, all day) It's also 6 for stealth if you want to go at the front.
Anyway, back on topic please.

07-11-2009, 07:55 AM
cool, i will buy the Ultimate and on topic, when does it come out?? i like it so far

07-11-2009, 10:35 AM
cool, i will buy the Ultimate and on topic, when does it come out?? i like it so far
The best answer to that question is when it's ready! I really don't know, could be a week, could be several months. Depends how many problems he gets.

07-11-2009, 01:59 PM
yeah, what i think he should do it so ti can be easily edited if he wants rita-like cars because they are changing in about 5 months

07-11-2009, 02:12 PM
The best answer to that question is when it's ready! I really don't know, could be a week, could be several months. Depends how many problems he gets.

Here here, well said! I am hoping to be finished soon but bearing in mind I'm off to Florida on 19th (woo!) we're probably looking at mid August I WOULD GUESS, don't hold me to it but that seems a reasonable working timeframe. I should probably tell you at this point that I am envolved in some other projects as well at this time, which are working in collaboration with other people so have to take priority over personal projects. That doesn't mean this has no priority at all though :)

07-11-2009, 02:26 PM
adam im looking forward to see these and btw, when these are done they will look soooo realistic

07-14-2009, 12:24 PM

07-14-2009, 12:24 PM

07-14-2009, 03:42 PM
the restraints are on there. they are orange

07-14-2009, 06:14 PM
Dang, that dose look pretty.. I like the restraints..

07-14-2009, 06:47 PM
looks ace but can you make the lap part of the restraints like on All the Accelerator's and that will make it mega! :P

07-14-2009, 07:54 PM
one word........Awesome

07-15-2009, 03:44 AM
the restraints are on there. they are orange

07-15-2009, 10:09 AM
looks amazing ;)

07-16-2009, 12:58 PM
Thanks for all your comments and messages of support! It isn't finished yet, I know there is still room for improvement... Look on the bright side, once this lead car is done the others should be a doddle! :D

07-16-2009, 02:08 PM
looks amazing , but i think that maybe the textures could be made better.

07-16-2009, 02:18 PM
looks amazing , but i think that maybe the textures could be made better.

You say this but i dont think that that will help Adam_Thorpe. Maybe tell him what you think should be changed.

Adam_Thorpe, I'm loving this, I've been following and thought that I should finally add my input :P

It looks very nice, It will be great once its released but dont rush this until you think its ready :)

07-16-2009, 02:41 PM
Well , i think that it could be made a bit more shiny , if you know what i mean , rather than what it is like the moment , because the overall shape and details are amazing , but the texture does not look quite right.

07-16-2009, 06:56 PM
Is that me or does that say FORD in the grid of the car :S , Because i didnt realise stealth had that and could you send me the car from sketch up so i can make it like Rita :)

07-17-2009, 08:47 AM
Well , i think that it could be made a bit more shiny , if you know what i mean , rather than what it is like the moment , because the overall shape and details are amazing , but the texture does not look quite right.

He can add shine when it gets imported, you can't just paint it on in the modler as such ;). The screenshot, while possibly looking rendered doesn't have the properties to make it shine, however RCT3 can render the shine easily.

07-22-2009, 10:51 AM
This is great looking!! Im gona have this in my parks for sure! No doubt about that one!!!

07-23-2009, 07:20 PM
Hi guys, managed to find some internet and some free time out here in florida :D Thanks for all your comments and encouragment! Just to clear up 'from the horse's mouth' as it were, the textures are temporary, I just like to add some colours while working to get a better feel for how it is gonna look. There shall be no Ford logos on the release!

Just a personal addition- been to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach and Islands Of Adventure so far :D Got Animal Kingdom, Universal, EPCOT and SeaWorld left to go :D I'm back on the 30th so I shall carry on then :)

Thanks for keeping the chat going on this while I'm away!

07-23-2009, 08:58 PM
That car CTR loks pretty darn good. My only critism is the restraints look a little thin. I wouldn't mind using this for a themed ride. I've never seen a new themed CTR. Keep up the good work.

07-24-2009, 05:07 PM
wow this is really amazing i love it!!:heart::heart:

07-26-2009, 03:46 PM
I serously need this for my new project

07-30-2009, 02:34 PM
Hi guys, good news! Whilst working on something else I found how to do textures and make them export properly! The last obsticle in the way of this has been cleared :D Picture update soon!

07-30-2009, 02:37 PM
cool ;)

07-30-2009, 02:58 PM

07-30-2009, 06:39 PM
Can't wait!

07-30-2009, 07:48 PM
I am looking forward to see the pictures adam.

Off Topic: Adam are you still working on your screaming swing ride or is that dead now.

07-31-2009, 09:03 AM
OT: Not dead, in that I will return to it at some point... I have a few ideas up my sleeve right now, as well as working on things for other people but I will return at some point. I think by that point, given it was my first model, I will have improved to the point of starting it again from scratch. We'll see I suppose. But I do want to do a screamin' swing at some point, aside from anything else I just want to play with one in game!

On Topic: While working on set of new textures last night, I accidently deleted the Stealth ones :bored: Luckily only one side had final textures on, so it won't take long to do again. Thats what I'm doing as we speak :D

07-31-2009, 12:13 PM
Thanks for letting us know what you are doing about your screaming swing ride and i am looking forward to see your next update of the ride adam.

08-28-2009, 09:47 PM

Please post an update on what you got so far Please.

10-18-2009, 09:47 PM
oh my god, can you people stop pestering him. if he's getting it done hes getting it one, if not well then tough luck

10-20-2009, 03:57 PM
^ I like you :)

However, I'll say a few words just because it has been a while... The thing is basicly going to be completely re-done. I'm tempted to delete the old one tbh lol. It was just insane on the poly front, and I have improved SO much since I started it.

I have a lot of other stuff going on though, school is a bit of a nightmare right now and I've drifted from RCT3 a bit. Fallout 3 is taking up much of the little free time I have if I'm honest.

So yah, ground up rebuild. It'll take longer but it will be worth it :) I think its only fair though to stop bringing this to the top of the list when other people have things to show though, so if I could make a polite request it would be to let this thread go down until such a time as I post more pictures :) I don't want to seem ungrateful for all your interest etc, but thanks :)

10-20-2009, 04:31 PM
Fallout 3 is taking up much of the little free time I have if I'm honest.
Falllout 3, very well understood. That game is awesome.

10-21-2009, 01:25 PM
^ Lol yeah :D The character I'm playing right now has 110 hours on the clock, and I just bought Game Of The Year version for all the DLC Addons :D

10-21-2009, 02:03 PM
can't wait!!

01-17-2010, 03:02 PM
First post of the year and still no update!!

Spl Eagles

^if YOU want it so badly, YOU make it yourself! stop yelling at EVERYONE for updates and releases!

01-17-2010, 03:42 PM
Agree with Spl Eagles, cs making is very hard work

01-22-2010, 01:51 PM
Reading is a wonderful thing, peeps. ^ If you had read through the thread you would have seen pictures which answer your question.

And to all three most recent posters, I will post this for the third time on this page:

Believe it or not i did read the thread, and i made the post looking at the pictures considering the car, and making the post with the intention of helping out.....if you don't want the help, tell me so.

Ok you guys, the nagging paid off! I'm sorry I was a bit rude to some of you when you were only trying to help :)

Literally, one night's work. Poly count is down from a staggering 19,000 to 2,335! Mostly this is from remodelling the seats and replacing the wheels with alpha stacks. The front bodyshell was also redone, and smoothed. I'm actually really happy! I hope you guys like it! Still WIP obviously - more details are still needed, OTSRs, and the back portion of the body shell might get a bit of tinkering done to it as well - plus texturing in various colour schemes. Well on the way though! It is much nearer to completion than last time this thread was active, and I for one think it looks a damn sight better!

And please, after all that nagging, for goodness sake tell me what you think! :D

01-23-2010, 07:52 PM
Wow what a comeback! This looks great! One bit of advice, in some of your curves on the seat, i can tell they have way more sides than they need. I don't know if you already know this, but right clicking a curve, going to entity info, and lowering the amount of segments makes a huge difference. But, dang, from 19,000!!!!!! I really don't think its necessary that you lower it any further anyway!

01-23-2010, 08:27 PM
WOW!!!!! What ^he said great comeback. I've been waiting for this before I even signed in to atari forums.

01-23-2010, 08:35 PM
What an amazing piece. It's Aliveeeee!

01-23-2010, 09:33 PM
Yaaay,After eternal waiting its ALIVEEE AGINNN

But I think the body should be a little thicker

01-24-2010, 08:50 AM
wow, looks really awesome! and well worth the wait! ;)

01-24-2010, 01:04 PM
brilliant, my pc sighed at the poly count but very well detailed.

01-24-2010, 01:13 PM
One question, are you going to animate it? Still looks great.

01-25-2010, 11:38 AM
Im not quite sure what you've done with the seats is well relistic and also looks like there is more pollys then there is in the real one. :haha:

Then theres this version also.

EDIT: Just found a better picture:

01-25-2010, 01:22 PM
Thanks for all your kind words guys. GlassSnow, I'm modelling after the Stealth varient to begin with:

If you look back through the thread, the old seats had all the details on. The new ones will too, I just haven't got to it yet. The restraints will be animated.

01-25-2010, 07:56 PM

I hate this accident. It's Really sad that the kid got hurt just by riding a coaster.

01-26-2010, 01:58 PM
I didn't realise before, is that the Xcelerator cable snap? It's torn the train body shell!

New seat shape and added the red support spines behind the seats too. Still working on spacing and exact alignment.

01-26-2010, 02:14 PM
Oooh, nice seats.

01-26-2010, 03:07 PM
did you make those wheels they look like the RR ones no offence

01-26-2010, 03:31 PM
I made them. Thanks Changer :)

01-26-2010, 04:33 PM
hmm to me every single wheel on every CTR looks exactly the same but then again there is no different shaped wheels

01-26-2010, 05:07 PM

They're not RR. They even say Intamin on them, and batch numbers!

01-26-2010, 05:12 PM
The Revolutionary Rides wheels have two alphas then then a solid surface containing the other texture. Altogether, alpha stacks are so much easier. I think, not sure, part of the Revolutionary Rides wheels were UV mapped. Not sure, but they look that way.

01-26-2010, 05:23 PM
^^ nice detail
^ wiggedy wiggedy what?!

01-27-2010, 12:00 PM
Looking really great so far! :) I really hope you have a good time enjoying this instead of being rushed by some users, :bored:. But anywayz good luck on the rest of this!

01-27-2010, 01:11 PM
Wow! these look great and better than before, but i do hope this doesn't consume all of your time :D

01-27-2010, 01:15 PM
Thanks guys, for the kind words and the understanding! I took tonight out to kick back and do a little work on my park having spent the vast majority of my recent free time on this, but tomorrow or Friday I'll be back at this - I don't want to leave it this time :)

01-28-2010, 05:46 PM
looks awesome! and just amazing detail.

01-31-2010, 12:08 PM
Thanks Colors.

Ok, I think I've killed off the last of the modelling on the lead vehicle! I completely butchered it this morning, doing the massive remodel the outside got on the inside. I've resized the entire model too, so it should look better in game. All the seats were ripped out so I could tidy the inside and remove polys where they weren't needed, then I finished the seats and put them back in. OTSRs are done too, I think that's it! To do list on the lead vehicle is now just re-applying the wheels, and final texturing!

Can I get a woop woop?!

01-31-2010, 12:10 PM
Looks amazing!

01-31-2010, 12:13 PM
Wow.. Just wow.

01-31-2010, 12:23 PM
This is one of the best CTRs. Keep up the work.

woop woop

01-31-2010, 01:09 PM
wheels are exactly as in real life:
(scroll down to about 3/4)

01-31-2010, 01:10 PM
WOOP WOOP :haha: this is looking superb! I really like the textures, the car seems to be perfect atm, looking like a real accelerator! Keep up the great work :)

01-31-2010, 01:54 PM
Thanks guys, that's some serious praise there! Wheels are back on, I think it's done! Texturing is the final hurdle!

01-31-2010, 01:57 PM
looks very good...
but it looks so small compared to the track you placed it on

01-31-2010, 02:33 PM
^ I suppose you will get a better idea of size once its been put in game and the people are in the car. Looks great though.

01-31-2010, 02:35 PM
I can't wait till you finsih the final texture.

01-31-2010, 02:38 PM
looks spot on

01-31-2010, 02:42 PM
Can't wait to see the other cars!

01-31-2010, 03:27 PM
Just wondering, will you be adding the handle on the base of the restraint?
It'll make it look more realistic. Other then that its great!

01-31-2010, 03:46 PM

01-31-2010, 05:06 PM
Perfection :up::)

01-31-2010, 05:34 PM
Thanks everyone!

So nearly done! I can almost taste it!

01-31-2010, 05:45 PM
thats awesome stuff there, but i do have to admit, the bottom of it does look a little bit thinner than the actual ones on the photo but it's not a worry

01-31-2010, 05:50 PM
Can't wait to see ingame!

01-31-2010, 06:00 PM

01-31-2010, 07:05 PM
Looks very nice, the only think i would say to maybe work on is the bumper because the bracket looks weird. Other than that its very nice.

01-31-2010, 09:44 PM
big improvement since i last looked at this thread. keep up the good work:)

02-01-2010, 01:01 AM
Consider this amazing... I will defiantly be downloading this and making a racing theme ride in a park some day. Great work, and this has improved so much!

02-01-2010, 07:04 AM
:eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2: nice train!

02-01-2010, 12:25 PM

02-02-2010, 08:11 PM

Is it going to be recolor able?

02-02-2010, 08:22 PM
Is it going to be recolor able? ^^

That's what i said before LOOOL

02-03-2010, 10:58 AM
Thanks for all the kind words guys... Really appreciate it.

I've now finished my side of the project for the time being, I've sent the files over to Chico who has kindly offered to animate the restraints for me. A big thanks Chico!

As far as colour schemes / recolourablity are concerned, I'm releasing the Stealth version first, which is a direct rec so not recolourable. For the second release after that, I will make some sort of Rita / Xcelerator style skin with flames, which will be recolourable. Watch this space ;)

02-03-2010, 11:25 AM
this looks great :)

Remember though, that they are changing the theme (and colour) of Rita for the new season ;)

02-03-2010, 12:53 PM

02-03-2010, 12:59 PM
Recolorable flames, SWEET!!!!!!!!

02-03-2010, 09:35 PM
I always wanted a Xcelerator CTR. Can't wait.

02-04-2010, 02:43 PM
i've had another look at those picturs on page 6 and i've noticed something, the back seats need to be slighlty higher than the front ones, that may make it look better (not that it isn't good anyway) =]

02-10-2010, 05:33 PM
Not more waiting=(

02-10-2010, 05:36 PM
Not more waiting=(
good things come to those who wait as one rather odd advert once said

03-01-2010, 10:37 AM
Is there lights on the car. I would be nice to have one with and without lights otherwise, :10sur10:.

03-01-2010, 02:50 PM
Nice work.. Good to see that you cutted down the polys ALOT, though it still looks a little high poly it would be sad to change more.
